I met Rochell at Applebees, my former workplace. Although I admired her "Keepin' it Real" style, we weren't really that good of friends at first, mainly due to me being drunk everytime we hung out (which was usually on weekends, the only time I worked during the Fall). Anyway, one day after a terrible day of serving for both of us, she started telling me about Element Magazine, a Punk/Rock/Christian magazine she edits for. I thought it was a great idea & she told me that they were looking for a "layout designer." I immediately came up w/ some ideas for the magazine & I was hired! Since then, I frequently meet Rochell for coffee at Shap's & help out (when I can) with interviews of the local band scene. Rochell is a great friend & I really appreciate all the advice she has given me, especially in recent months. She's the type of person that would do anything for her friends, even if it sometimes means putting up w/ there crazy moods!
