Hierarchies (or circles) of human needs: different levels of needs that have been put together by Maslow in order to show human development. The needs are based with the essentials of survival including food and shelter and move through several others that include finding one’s self, finding one’s calling, becoming more communal and transcendence or enlightenment. A person can be at more than one level at once and can bounce back and forth between them as different situations require fulfilling of different needs.
