Collaborative interest-based conflict resolution: This happens when one party is stuck on his or her position. An individual takes one position and automatically assumes that the other party is dead set on the opposite position; therefore both think that resolution is hopeless. Conflict resolution goes from position to interest, like a paradox. Interest-based collaborative conflict resolution is on the deficit level because it is a psychological problem.
