Console Wars - Attack of the XBox (although this probably should be xblox, but then it wouldnt make sense.

The starship BS-2 flys over a dry uninhabited planet, searching for the last of their nemesis, the ninetentwo people.

A small ninetentwo fighter flys by

The BS-2 pilot watches the fighter on his viewscreen and reports it to his commander. (note incorrect naming used, apologies to nintendo but this is genuinely a typographical error)

Fire! the commander squeeks in his robotic voice.

The BS-2 opens its forward gun bay and fires three deadly laser bolts from its forward cannon.

The Ninetentwo fighter valiantly tries to avoid the bolts as they scream by.

But is ultimately unsucessful.

But more urgent matters are at hand as an unidentified ship closes in on their position

The monolithic black MSC "Xblox" comes to a halt near the BS-2, its green illuminated features makes it look menacing.

The ultimatum is swift and straight to the point.

The Xblox activates its tractoring beam to trap the BS-2 from being able to move.

but their forward cannon is still charged and ready to fire.

With the tractor beam disabled by the blast, the xblox alien activates his powerful top cannon

The blast from this cannon does terrible damage to the BS-2, almost cutting it in half.

Fires burn throughout the damaged area.

With the command deck filling with smoke, the commander orders their fighters launched.

The small manouverable fighters launch from the bays along the length of the ship.

They are able to manouver right under the Xblox.

And launch a devastating attack of their own. As they are able to out manouver the targeting of the main gun, and destroy it with missles and bombs.

Xblox Alien recognizes this problem and heads off to his own fighter.

The xblox fighter tis launched from the lower hatch which is also the lower insignia.

He is able to out-class the BS-2 fighters and quickly destroys them with a mini version of the main cannon

But he is not without his own problems

Which gives one BS-2 fighter a chance, which he makes a suicide collision into the xblox fighter.

While distracted, the BS-2 activates its most potent weapon, the CD-ROM cannon. (note this shot does not have the later added receptor, which was corrected in the final cut.

It fires a massive amount of energy toward its target.

The blast destroys the xblox ship utterly.

and with his own fighter failing, he makes a suicide run into the giant dish weapon

Causing a massive chain of explosions.
