PHASE 6 CHALLENGE

Being a player that has lasted this long in this game proves that you have a certain level of intelligence and/or luck.  Well this week's challenge will test your intelligence to its fullest extent.  You will be receiving a series of 4 logical questions.  Each one more difficult than the one that preceded it.  These questions are not easy.  The winner will be the player who answered the most questions correctly.

This week you will have a choice of a reward:

1. You can receive the normal "bye" from the exam.

2. This is the almost illegal thing that I am willing to toss in.  You can receive your score (NOT GRADED EXAM) on the last exam you took.

-Include your choice on your answer submission which is due on Day 23 by 5PM to actionjackson009@yahoo.com.

Here are your questions:

1. WHODUNIT

Linda, a criminal investigator, is trying to find out who murdered the famous wealthy entrepreneur Maximillion Warbucks. With few leads, she sits in a coffee shop hoping that caffeine will stimulate her thinking. Suddenly a mysterious stranger drops a slip of paper on her table, and runs out the door. She unfolds the paper, which reads: "B O K E E R P E K O" Within minutes, Linda has the murderer in custody. Who is it?

2. 3 LETTER WORD

Five of the following words have some relationship to a certain word. However, one word lacks any relationship with this word. Determine the word that the others are connected to, and decide which one of the six below does not belong with the others:

BECOME BEE CANDLE DINE EAR GROW

3. ALPHABETIC ORDER

Eric fell asleep in his Introductory Logic class. The professor decides to make an example of Eric, and slams his hand on Eric's desk, waking him abruptly. The instructor then quickly asks "which of the six words that I am about to give you properly completes the following sequence of words: BASIC, ELF, HAITI, KILL, NO, ? Choose from QUARTER, QUICK, QUARREL, QUAINT, QUIBBLE, and QUERY." Much to the professor's embarrassment, Eric answers the question correctly. Find out what "logic" Eric employed, and decide what the answer should be.

4. BACK TO FRONT

The nonsensical sentence that follows conceals a most important form of communication and artistic expression. See if you can find out what it is.

NOW YOU'RE SEEING TRUE MIRING CONUNDRUMS GLIMMER.

5. In case of a tie, how many correct answers will the players get as a whole?  Give me a number.

Since there was a tie this week, I flipped a coin to see who would earn the reward.  Heads for Sara, Tails for Danny.  The coin was flipped and the result was heads.  Sara earns the "bye" this week.  No foul play occurred it was down to luck at the end.
