Calabro Conversion Part III
Hell and Back!
Subject: Joe Zukoski
Male, Age 17
Role: Super Scholar
Current Assignment: Dead
Mission: Protect the Great Beyond
Another typical day at school ended! Students poured out in the masses
toward cars and buses. But trouble was afoot as always, but not as where
students, or anybody would care about.
Deep in the Underworld, everything was going as planned. The dead’s destines were chosen as always, some to heaven, some to Hell. But because some also didn’t belonged to either be given opportunities to work within the check-in station to help with spiritual cleansing of all spirits. But until one spirit managed to get through the check in and to work in the station. But his intentions were definitely evil. Enma, the evil spirit had works to overtake the spirit world. But first he had to get a chance to get his hands on a body. One thing about spirits when they die is that they lose their mortal bodies and wander the underworld as a flame-like being. Well, Enma decided to possess someone whose body stayed with them in the Spirit World. “I know...perhaps I may posses the body of the Overseer of Plant Earth, Kami-sama.
Three weeks later. Chaos had swept through the Underworld. Without
Kami-sama’s usual expedition up to the Spirit World, as well as his guidance
with Earthen Spirits to the afterlife, chaos! The Spirits ran wildly causing
mischief in the upper realms. Lord Daio attempted to regain control with his
massive magical powers. But none worked against these berserking spirits. Then,
a figure had flown from a canyon on Earth toward Kami-sama tower. Enma had
collected all 5 pieces of the medallion and prepared to summon forth the
Dragon. He forced all the pieces together and the medallion fell to the ground
and erupted. A bright light broke forth and the outline of a large dragon
slithered up to the sky. Then it curled its body and hovered over Enma. “WHY
HAVE YOU SUMMONED ME?” Enma smiled, devilishly. “I wish for you to grant me
eternal youth!” The dragon stared at it’s summoned, “SO BE IT!” His eyes flared
up, a bright red. Then a surge of power swept over Enma. His wrinkles
disappeared and his frail body grew into a muscular one. The dragon disappeared
and the pieces of the medallion shattered and dispersed...to who knows where.
Joe Zukoski was innocently sitting in English Class learning about the
Puritans. Sitting in the back row, he always kept in eye out for anything. The
English door opened, two figures entered. One was of Li Eclud and his brother,
Vechsurk, the other. Joe hopped out of his seat, hesitant of what was going on.
“Shit...you guys again.” he said. The two moved closer, “You killed us both
Zuk...but the Gods above gave us life to take vengeance for your dealings in
our affairs.” Li Eclud said. They charged at him at full force. The other
students and teachers watched in horror at the site of Joe getting attacked.
They crashed through the windows and flung Joe down on the ground. SMACK. He
landed on his face. He flipped up as the two descended. “Haha, Zuk, you will
not escape us this time.” said Li Eclud. “FIRE NOW!” he continued. They fired
the Renzoku Energy Blasts at him. Each small ball pounded toward Zuk. But Joe
knew exactly how to fix this. He clenched his fists and shouted aloud as a red
transparent shield absorbed each bullet. He leapt high in the air; he spread
his arms and legs as he changed into a kaio-ken. He hovered above them. He
charged them and began to duel with them. But Vechsurk got in the way and
pounded into Zuk’s stomach hard, down he fell, upon landing, he slowly got up.
But the brothers charged at him and each kneed him several times in the stomach
and smashing him into their fists. Then they knocked him forward. He flipped up
again. They dashed toward him, ready for the final kill. But Zuk pointed his
pointer and middle finger of both hands and placed them on the sides of his
temple. He closed his eyes and shouted, “TAIO-KEN!” The blinding light of the
sun burnt into their eyes. Zuk flew straight up to escape. “Uhh...dammit, I can’t
change into a Super Scholar. I am too worn out now. Got to rely on Kaio-ken,
they are a lot stronger then when I first fought them.”
But the two regained conscience, and flew after him. Li Eclud spun his
hands in a casual circle and summoned a whirl of “chi” after Zuk. But Joe back
flipped a few times and fired a Kamehameha. It rocketed to the pair. But the
combined powers of the brothers, was too much. They aligned themselves next to
each other and blocked the shot with a combined beam equal to it. But the beam
of the brothers overwhelmed Joe’s and he couldn’t hold out any longer. The beam
pounded him and flattened him to the ground. “I am not having a good day.” he
said Vechsurk pointed his pointer finger at Zuk. It grabbed Zuk and he hovered
a few feet off the ground. Then Vechsurk opened his palm, and then closed it. “AHH...HELP
ME!” shouted Zuk in pain, as his body felt as through it was ready to
explode... Indeed it did. He blew up into nothing but bloody flesh and some
traces of smoke.
The two villains flew off as they panicked the students with no hope or
any idea what is going to happen. The two evil ones parted. As Vechsurk flew to
the roof of the school, Li Eclud dashed down the street to wreck havoc along
near the Football field. Atop the roof, a lone figure stood before him. Wearing
a Hawaiian Shirt, armed with a large sword strapped to his back. The villain
landed, “Ahhh, So...Calabro, we meet again. But this time, you won’t escape so
easily, Zuk has been killed!” Calabro stood motionless, a moment to hide
emotion and get the job done. He pulled his sword out and grasped it very hard.
Vechsurk landed suddenly and let his tail smack the ground. Calabro dashed
toward him with sword in hand and took a slice at the villain. But he just
missed, although close. That swing also took Vechsurk’s hand right off. He
grabbed the stump of an arm, and rubbed it for comfort, he swung his arm to his
side and the hand regenerated as good as new, “Well, it seems you have grew
much in strength. As a request may I see your blade and examine its power. Then
I may leave. You are too far strong for I.” Vechsurk said. Calabro flipped his
sword upside down and tossed it to him. The evil one, smiled, devilishly, “YOU
FOOL...WILL DIE.” He raised the sword and prepared to strike at Calabro. But
Calabro caught the blade with his right hand before it cut his face. The stern
look on his face showed him that he was not in a good mood. He curled his left
arm back and as fast as he could he thrusted it forward and punched through
Vechsurk’s stomach. Then while he fell back in agony. Calabro grabbed his sword
off the floor and preceded to decapitate him, “Best way to send the dead back
to Hell!” He quoted. Then stabbing him into the chest, he flipped the sword
back in its sheath and walked off.
Meanwhile, as Li Eclud landed on Judd Road, he began flipping cars over
that got in his way. That is...until a lone girl stepped in his way. Garbed in
a Sailor Senshi suit and long pigtails. She walked toward the tyrannical
creature. “Ohh...a girl! Is this the best this planet can offer again? Oh yea,
of course, I smitten the hero of this planet. Zuk now is one of the dead now. I
shall come now have my revenge with the rest of you!” shouted Li Eclud to the
girl. But, the girl was fearless, “I...Stephanie, defender of good, the
innocent, shall punish and vanquish you once again for you evil deeds.” she
stated. The villain could only smile a toothy grin. “So, Li, how do you want
it?” she replied to his grin. “Well, girl, why don’t you come over here and find
out.” he said to her. She withdrew her crescent moon scepter, spun it above her
head a few times. She glowed an angelic gold as she instantly sprouted
magnificent wings. Then in a valiant dash, she rushed toward Li Eclud, so fast,
it was unseen, a second later, a crunch was heard. Li Eclud gasped and grasped
his chest. His body froze into a frozen statue of himself. Stephanie appeared
right behind him. She placed her crescent wand back in her belt and withdrew
her lightsaber. In a set of two swings, the villain was sliced to nothing.
Meanwhile, in a heavenly plain, filled with chaos and fright, a dead
Zuk had plopped into a cloud. “Dammit, not this place again.” he whispered to
himself. He felt the top of his head, a halo was present a few inches of his
head. But he looked around heaven at the Palace of Lord Daio. But the whole
place was in distress, all except for a lone demi-god. Zuk sensed an evil
surrounding with him. So he approached him. “What business do you have here at
Lord Daio’s?” he asked. “Why, I have overthrown the lord of the dead. He has no
power, be off or I shall bring you eternal pain and suffering.” the God
replied. “Oh yea! Well, if I could I’d kill you. But I am already dead and you
are immortal. Hmm... a problem.” Zuk shouted back. “Well, I am going to blast
you the hell out of you till you fix the balance of the afterlife and the
living.” But the God just turned his head, “Make me...Human...” he snickered as
he hissed.
Zuk leapt toward him, “All right, let’s rock!” He tilted his body about
45 degrees to make a swift air roundhouse kick to the opponents head. But Enma
zanzokened behind him and kicked him in the back and he flew off to the ground
with a smash. “Well, well, well. It seems you cannot harm that of a God. Be
warned, I am not through you yet.” Enma shouted to Zuk. With a snap of the God’s
fingers, five small things appeared over the horizon and attacked in a rush
combo to our hero. “Ahhh... shit... not the Joe jrs. But they are much stronger
then the first time.” But the miniature clones whirled themselves over Zuk’s
body, overwhelming him, ever so. That is, until Zuk decided to defend
accordingly. With a short hop backwards, he duked out every blow that ravaged
to his body. Then after a few blows and Jrs. were knocked away, Zuk found it
necessary to change to his awesome state of power once again... the Super
Scholar...level 2. With a power up shout, his body flashed a golden flame and
his hair changed to gold and his eyes, green. All the Joe Jrs. backed off from
the golden hair super warrior. But Zuk was not going to allow such wimpy clones
overtake him. Zuk grabbed the first Junior’s arm, and swung him around and then
smashed him swiftly in the ground. The mini image of our hero was splattered
into a flat piece of flesh over a small crater. Zuk dashed at the others, with
his momentum he picked up a junior, halted his dash and kicked another one
straight through his stomach and he split into two pieces. Zuk then flew high
in the air and powered up for an extremely “chi” attack. “KA... ME... HA...” he
cupped his hands and pulled them back to the left side of his body as a blue
ball of energy swan around his cupped hands. “ME... HAAAAA..” He finished off
again by thrusting his hands forward and allowed the blue beam to spit and project
itself from his hands and the beam homed in on the horde of juniors. Within a
few seconds the beam collided with the last of the juniors and blew them all up
to nothing!
Zuk landed ever so calmly with much easy intent, he saved the world
once again from the evils of his mini-selves. Enma stood wide eyed for a
second, but was not that impressed. He knew the legend of the Super Scholar and
all the “nonsense” according to it. “All right, let’s go then...mortal.” Enma
shouted to our hero. He powered up a short amount of “chi” and was ready to go,
Joe, sensing his enormous strength minus his small energy amount, and shivered
over it. This is one guy that “chi” doesn’t matter to strength. Then Joe
thought to himself, “Hmmm, maybe perhaps I should upgrade to Super Scholar 3.
Maybe then I can extinguish or banish this immortal. Zuk concentrated his
power, clenched his fists and shouted aloud. Lightning raced across his chest
to his face at speeds almost unseen by the human eye. He closed his eyes as his
golden eyebrows dispersed and vanished from his face. His Super Scholar hair
pulled itself from his already semi-long hair as it pulled down toward his
ankles. He swirled his newly received magical hair. His fairly muscular
physique burst into more then average as our hero was ever jacked at this
point. “Haha...Well, you dare judge my power, demon. You are no God to us men!”
He raced toward Enma at full speed, and tried to bash his leg into his stomach.
But Enma merely caught his leg and flipped him over. But Zuk managed to flip
some more so he began to land headfirst, he placed his hand onto the ground and
put pressure against it as he thrusted his legs into Enma’s face. The immortal
didn’t see that coming and was struck hard into the jaw. Then Zuk flipped up and
punched in rapid succession to the chest and face of the villainous God. The
God was absolutely flabbergasted by this small opening he allowed the Super
Scholar to attack with. But Enma flipped back a few times out of the deadly
duel and formed a ball shape beam of energy close to his chest. “Haha...you
fool, feel my wrath.” He thrusted his arms forward and allowed the ball to
release itself from the horizontally cupped hands. BANG...the gunshot of an
energy attack flew toward it’s victim. “Ohh, boy!” replied Zuk to the nasty
attack. He had no real way to fire some countermeasure to rely the attack away.
So, as a last resort, Zuk thrusted his hands out to clash with the ball, he
closed his eyes and hoped for the best. The ball smashed itself onto the boy’s
hands and grinded into his flesh. “Ahhh... It hurts, IT HURTS!!” With all his
might, Joe tossed the ball into the air where it exploded into a cloud of
smoke. But weakened from the strain of the Super Scholar level 3 and the toil
of that powerful attack, Joe let loose his power and returned to his normal
self. He fell back into a form of unconscious, as Enma walked closer to our
hero, he spoke, “Well, a battle NOT so well fought, oh valiant Super Scholar.
Enjoy the thrills of hell permanently immobile.” He raised his hands in the air
and summoned a large ball. He pulled his arm back for momentum and was ready to
throw it at the disabled of Zuk.
But
before he was able to throw the bomb of destruction, a lone figure intercepted
the attack and with his legs leapt into the air and smashed the God into his
head and recoiled slightly and got back up. “Greetings, good and just fighter,
Zuk. It is I, Kodrab. I have retained my mortal body to aid you in your fight.”
Zuk came too after the speech from the fallen creature of the Zephlin race. “Oh,
it’s you, Kodrab. Good to see you!” Enma got up, “Grrrr, two of you. Why I
should....” But before he could finish his sentence, Kodrab locked the
villain’s arms with his. “Warrior, Zuk, use your most powerful attack whilst I open.”
Zuk nodded in agreement. “Ahhh, now the Instantaneous Super Destructo Deadly
Combo! AHHHH” He shouted as he placed his index and middle finger to his
forehead and teleported right in front of the god of evil. In a furious power
rage, he beat the fake god with a series of short but powerful thrusts and spin
kicks. Finally, after a short combo of ten hits, Zuk ducked slightly and his
hair instantly grew to Super Scholar 3 and his fist charged into an energetic
fist. He glowed slightly, a tint of gold and he jumped into a uppercut,
shouting, “RYO-KEN!” He smashed the jaw of Enma, but was really no where near
death (being that he already is immortal.) Kodrab held him in place so he
wouldn’t fly off from the punch. Zuk hovered a few feet over the ground and
released his Super Scholar powers and stretched his arms between heaven and
earth and began to summon a relatively small Genki-Dama. He channeled the
gracious energy bestowed up on him by the heavenly figures trapped by the evil
Enma. The Earth and all his fellow fighters gave up a portion of energy to him.
The ball of natural energy fused into a fist size ball that surrounded his hand
and forearm. “Now, for the final blow! GENKI-DAMA FIRE!!!!!” He threw the ball
like a strong baseball and it crashed into his victim, and then allowing Kodrab
to escape, easily.
The energy melted the evil spirit of Enma and allowed the good soul of
the overseer of Earth to return. Heaven became balanced again. All remaining
dead people were disintegrated to the afterlife. Zuk was restored back to his
seat in English class (being he wasn’t really killed by natural causes and the
imbalance doesn’t count.) Zuk glanced up to the heavens as the spirit of Kodrab
whispered as a wind to the hero, “Continue your fight. I sense danger in your
new adventure. Be warned, your ally might be your enemy...Please, also. Find my
son, Torokak. Right his wrongs and allow him to ally with you... please.” The
voice sailed away in the wind as Zuk nodded in agreement. He will look out for
the son of the valiant cerebrate and watch his back for his new adventure.
