Calabro Conversion Part IV
Episode XXVI: The Betrayal!
After Zuk took a leap toward his once friend and companion
in his Majin state, he took no remorse at how this battle may conclude. He may
be forced to kill him for success. But the consumption of his good self to this
state not only heightens his powers, speed, and strength, but he also lost all
but a very small amount of emotion and is now a bloodthirsty being with nothing
to want other then to fight. Zuk took off in a flying leap toward Brian, who decided
to play with his newfound power and fired a small ball of energy toward the
Majin. Zuk was in no mood to be fooled around with, as soon as the ball was
ready to collide with him, he smacked it out of his way and rammed his fist
into Brian’s face. Brian fell back a little from the blow, and he back flipped
a few times and jumped high into the air and threw a flurry of energy balls at
Joe. But Joe’s heightened speed allowed him to maneuver the gaps in between
each attack and finally gave him a chance to knee him in the face, causing him
to fall to the ground. Brian got up slowly, “Wow…what a hit…but that won’t be
enough to save you.” As he stated this he fired a quick kienzan. That flat disc
of energy flew toward Zuk; he dove down and around it in hopes of not getting
severed by its edges. But while this occupied him, Brian could only dive into
the combat and landed a few small cheap punches and kicks to the Joe while he
was avoiding the blast… One such punch knocked Joe into his face and he lost
his balance and he felt the edge of the kienzan slice his left arm. Blood
spurted wildly for a few seconds as he descended to the floor and took long
gasping breathes. His bloodied appendage fell next to him, as lifeless as the
dead itself. But this isn’t something that will stop the Majin. He flew up and
grasped Brian with his remaining arm and smiled showing off his glorious fangs
and he shouted as another arm regenerated from his bloody stump. He smacked
Brian across the face and he fell into a large control panel.
As the fight
progressed, Calabro was off to the side keeping a close watch on Noxin, who was
too busy admiring the battle above. The leader of the Zephlin looked down
toward the Professor. “Isn’t this a good fight? I never thought it would be
this good” he said to Calabro in a friendly voice. Calabro cautiously nodded,
“But…you know what’s better?” Calabro raised an eyebrow at the thought of his
next move. But before he can catch on, Noxin leapt and kneed Calabro into the
face, causing the Master of English to take a dive and smashing himself onto
the Guidance Control Systems. Calabro shook his head and realized the ship was
pulling away from the Earth, his collision with the instrument panel had
ruptured the course the ship was on to, which helped it stay put in the
atmosphere. Noxin then sprouted small spikes at the end of his knuckles.
“C’mon, I dare you to fight an Evolved High Lord with legs to walk and a brain
that rivals your brightest scholars. Or could it be my massive strength…a
strength that overcomes you and your Super Scholars.” He replied, with a laugh.
“Like Hell you are.” Calabro rushed back up, drawing his sword from his sheathe
and slamming the blade into the large cranium of his head. A sharp crack of
metal clashing with his carapace followed by a scream as Noxin rubbed his head,
“Hey that hurt. Grr…. Now you DIE!” he smacked him away with the fierceness of
his knuckles. Calabro flew backwards, but flipped around and finally got his
footing back and landed safely. He dove right back into combat and slammed his
blade into several spots of his carapace. Noxin was dazed, Calabro was moving
so fast, it appeared that he must have picked up on the Zanzoken technique that
the others use. After the volley of hits that smashed onto Noxin’s hide, he
finally got another chance to knee our hero up in the air and smack him clear
across the room. Noxin’s forearms began to open, like a mouth, and inside the
darkness was a set of sharp set of spines, perhaps set up like a secondary
attack. “Taste this, mortal.” He fired his grooved spines in a volley of four
each shot. Calabro dove out of the way and maneuver away from this attack, but
it was a little too fast for him to handle. And at the last moment, one spine
struck Calabro in the side. He fell down in pain and couldn’t move. “Ahhh
dammit, what good am I now. I…got to get a Bastedo cookie to fix me up.
Meanwhile, Joe
and Brian still began to duke it out in heavy combat. With a punch to the face,
to a smack to the stomach, the battle intensified. Brian was getting every
chance he could get at to lay a shot at Joe. Joe was too busy on a rampage
trying to break through Brian’s defense. “HAHA…enough…I have found my Trump
Card! Feel the might of the mighty Majin…. foolish one.” Shouted Joe. He
smacked Brian down to the floor and he collided with the metallic floor of the
ship in a small crater that cut into some minor electric wiring. Brian laid and
couldn’t move, “Ahhh…my back, I think’ its broken! I give up, spare me.” Joe
stood there and crossed his arms with a sinister smile, “Never…not for what you
tried to do, we needed you and you BETRAYED US!” Joe placed his pointer finger
and middle finger onto his fore head. Small bolts of energy covered his fingers
as he laughed at his power. As it charged up within a few seconds, he moved his
fingers down and pointed it to his opponent, “Here’s to the betrayer…see you in
Hell…MAKENKOSAUPPO!” Then two beams fired, one fired straight from his middle
finger, while the other from his pointer coiled around the other beam like a
screw. Within in seconds, the Demon Beam bashed through Brian’s chest and right
through him. A scream of pain ended with silence. Joe floated down to the floor
and threw his cape back on in a swift motion. “It’s been real.” He walked off
and whipped a cookie from His bag on his sash and threw one to Calabro, who
munched on it’s wonderful magic. Within moments he was healed.
“Haha…very
good…very good. You never surprised me Joe.” A voice echoed the chamber. A
short figure entered the main entrance doors. “Wha... Caitlin? What are you
doing?” asked Calabro who slowly got to his feet. “Well, Mr. Calabro, it was I
whom devised this plan for another attack on the school. You see I am not too
fond of a lot of you people in this team. A lot of you hurt my feelings by
doing a bunch of bad things to me or my…FRIENDS.” She said as she looked at
Joe, whom was getting very angry at the latest addition to his betrayal by his
friends. “So, after meeting with High Lord Noxin, he decided to make an attack
on the school where everything is least suspected. Seeing the Pep Rally as a
fantastic idea, I captured the necessary students I needed for the cloning
experiments and they wander the very halls of this ship. You see Joe and Mr.
Calabro, it is about time I got my way, and was not just used as a common
healer. I want REVENGE for my mistreatment. Well, I have stayed too long now, I
am off to admire the release of my creations on Earth and there is no way for
you to stop them, because you will be stuck up here. High Lord Noxin, take care
of this rabble and finish off his friends, for they are already in the process
of being destroyed by my other…companions.” She laughed and turned to leave the
room. The doors closed. Noxin grinned, “Now, I will take care of all of you in
my final form.” He clenched his fists and brought them close to his chest as
various spasms shot across his body, and instantly his size doubled as well as
his build. His forearms, once were attached to hands, were transformed to long
scythes of bone. His legs grew long and lanky.
At the very sight
of his incredible transformation, both heroes stood frightened and amazed,
“Wow, never fought anything…this freaky…well, here goes.” Calabro took a swing
of his blade at his legs, but the scythe of his left arm swung down and smacked
him away like a rag doll. Zuk took off his spot on the floor in front of him
and prepared to swipe him with his claws. One swipe later, the untouched leader
took a deep swipe at our hero and sliced away a deep chunk of Joe’s stomach.
Joe fell to the floor, his bloodied stomach regenerated instantly, but his
Super Scholar power couldn’t hold anymore and he let go, his Majin power was
also released, he had returned to normal. All seemed lost, Joe and Calabro were
at the mercy of this brute, and with those deadly scythes dealing anyone who
got too close incredible damage in a single swipe, what was there to do?
Well, after that,
a large pound came onto the blast door. The door gave away and a small
Berserker rushed in, hoping around on his four legs for extra speed, followed
by Philibuster. “Joe, catch.” Shouted the other Joe, as he threw a small shiny
object at him. Joe opened one eye and placed the object in his hand, “Yea, its
my Class Ring that I never got, what’s your point.” He replied. “No, Joe, I
realized the only reason why we didn’t receive ours, was because they were
given a blessing, they are an upgraded Potara Ring, which we can use to fuse.”
Philibuster answered back. “Oh shit, nice job. Lets do it.” Joe said as he got
up and front flipped over the barbaric Noxin. “What in the name of the great…?”
Joe and Joe stood parallel to each other, then, they turned heads toward each
and acknowledged their feat as they spun around in a half-circle and slapped
their mighty Rings together. A bright light shined across the room as the once
two Joes collided into one being. When the light dispersed, one being stood
there, a single warrior, dressed in his white Arabian style baggy pants, a
small and tight curly vest striped with yellow. His hair spiked straight up,
“What…what are you?” asked Noxin as he felt the tremendous energy that was
channeled by the fusion, “We are not Zuk, nor Philibuster, but the instrument
of your defeat.” He replied as he cupped his hands together and pulled it back
toward his side, a blue ball appeared in his cupped hands as he recited, “Big….
Boom…. KAMEHAMEHA….” and he fired his projectile, it looked very similar to the
Makenkosauppo, except greatly enlarged. The Kamehameha was the center beam and
the Big Boom Attack of Philibuster’s was clinging and circling in a screw
fashion around it. “What…NO, NO, IMPOSSIBLE…” the beam collided into Noxin and
the intensity was so great, that he disintegrated into nothing but dust. Of
course the beam traveled through him and blew up most of the remaining valuable
equipment in the ship.
The ship began to
shake, a loud booming voice echoed in some weird alien tongue. The small
berserker hopped to the fusion and translated, “The ship is going to blow up,
please follow me, the others are waiting for you in the docking bay. Quickly
now, we have 3 standard minutes till the reactor melts.” The creature sputtered
to JoeJoe. He dashed off, in his four legged rushed motion. JoeJoe followed in
a dashed motion toward a shortcut to the docking bay. “Andrew, we are done
here. Get your people out of here.” Replied JoeJoe over a psionic link toward
the Star Lancer’s commander. “Roger that, we encountered the other two alien
warships, the Daggoth, and the Jormungand. The Daggoth just mysteriously
exploded, so we were able to easily take out the Jormungand by concentrating
out fire. We are returning to base, now.” General Dylag replied.
JoeJoe reached
the docking bay with everyone waiting. “Wait, where’s Mike?” Everyone looked
around, but the clone slayer was not in sight. “There’s no time, we have to go
now, and everyone grab a part of us.” He stated. Everyone obeyed and he
followed through with his Instantaneous Teleportation and they disappeared just
moments before the Nelffaggar blew up, and they reappeared back within the
school building. JoeJoe then removed his united Class ring and the mighty
fusion broke down into the two Joes. “Alright, great job everyone, but who is
this berserker that helped us?” asked Zuk. “Well, you see, this is Torokak, he
tells me. He is the son of Kodrab. I heard that you met up with him a long time
ago. He realized what he has done wrong as his thoughts were filled with his
father. For an alien, he is very intellectual. He has opted to aid us in our
quest.” Replied Philibuster. Joe agreed it was a good idea. He thanked the
creature and flew off in search of that traitor, in hopes of getting his
revenge for the betrayal itself, and the loss of Mike, who couldn’t be wished
back now because he had already been wished back before.
Joe flew off to
the top of the school, as a guess to her location, and he examined the area for
possible places she could have gone to, until he heard a voice, “Well, well,
what have we hear, I say we do round 2. I have gotten stronger since our last
encounter.” Declared Brian who had miraculously been healed and taken by his
girlfriend to defend her. “Shut your mouth, I have business to attend to.”
Replied Joe. “Not until I can beat you.” Brian had said, as he cracked his
knuckles and fell to the floor in a slow flight. “You want a fight…. take this….
HAAA!” Joe dashed toward Brian and began to beat him repeatedly with random
punches across his stomach and the force kept on pushing them across the
rooftop. Then Joe shouted once more and curled his arm back and his muscle
doubled and as Brian crossed his arms to break the block, Joe slammed his fists
into the center point of his arms and caused him to fly off into the sky. Joe
took a few steps and fired a deadly energy ball at Brian, which hit him and he
fell to the ground, beaten, and pride less. “No…stop, you must not harm her.”
Brian softly stated. “Wait...instead of killing her, cleanse her. Make her good
again; I love her too much to let anything happen to her. I know what I did was
wrong and I got my punishment, she just needs to see the light!" Joe
turned away with a sneer and mumbled to him and walked into the rooftop door.
