Episode XVII: Calabro Fighters Unite!
Richard charged at his evil father clone at full force. His blade dawn
out and attack form. He raised his blade to make a swift cut onto Majin Brian.
But Brian just knocked the blade away, Richard made another swipe, Brian
slapped it out of the way again. Then he swiped it again, this time he took off
a few locks of hair. “Damn Brat, I almost felt that.” barked Majin Brian. Then
Brian swiftly punched him in the stomach and then elbowed him in the face,
which sent Richard flying over and smashing another tree.
He shook his head and flew a great distance above him, “Now, I am going
to beat you...” Richard shouted to him. He then rapidly heaved fireball after
fireball as fast as a machine gun to his evil father. Each fireball pounded the
ground around and on Brian. After the dust settled, Richard panted heavily, he
knew that excessive energy shots drained him. Even as a Super Scholar, it took
a lot out of him. Then his father disappeared with the famous Zanzoken
technique (where a person travels so fast that it leaves an after image then
moves to another target appearing right their) then appearing right behind
Richard, he kicked him down to the ground. Then landing over him, he charged
his energies and an energy ball around his hand appeared, “This is for you, you
bastard!” Then Brian threw the ball right at Richard. It hit! Then a large
explosion ate away at Richard.
Then darkness....
Richard woke up in a panic; he was back in the pendulum room. He felt
his body to make sure he was alive and he was. “Looks like you had a bad fight,
don’t you think Dick?” Zuk said to him. All he could was get up, punch the
floor, leaving small crater there and ran off out of the room.
One month later...
Richard had flown off from his canyon oasis. He had become much
stronger then the year ago, where he was defeated by the image of his father.
Later today the Super Clones will appear and they must be fought or the
alternate future will happen again. This time he was ready for them, and no
more flop ups. He kept on flying, faster and faster to meet the rest of the
gang. He only saw them a few times over past year and they really began to bond
in that time also. Like the times he was fighting off some small time alien
hordes with Mike aboard his ship (another story) or the times when he as well
as Philibuster sparred on the football fields. Then again he remembers the
times he needed a quick time heal from his mother, Caitlin, or chatting with
his father about girls (or according to him, how wonderful Caitlin is). But he
hasn’t seen his father or them in the past few weeks.
He landed in front of the school. There the rest of the Calabro Crew
stood ready, it was one hour before the appointed time of the Arrival! As Richard
walked past each fighter, they all reminded him in thanks for preparation. “Thanks
Dick, I like the idea of coating my shells with a Durasteel and explosive
powder.” said Mike in his Clone Slayer apparel, the black trench coat, the
sinister look, as well as the chainsaw, which wasn’t attached to his hand yet,
only a steel gloved was instead, for now. “I now perfected the last defense
technique you showed me. Thanks Dick.” said Philibuster. “Heh, believe me,
thank yourself, you thought of it.” He said as he walked by. Joe looked back at
him puzzled. Then he made his way to Zuk. “Let’s go. The clones should appear
at the Gas Station not to far from here.” he said to Zuk. Brian, who was
training extensively with Kaio and hanging around Zuk, he had finally reached
potential fighting levels, while manipulating his internal body energy or slang
termed “chi.” He has been very jealous of the power of Zuk, Philibuster, and
Richard. But he had a surprise for them. Then they all flew off. Except for the
non-flyers who took air bikes, which Richard supplied from the future, built by
Tara. At last they finally reached the gas station. Although, Caitlin refused
to go, all because Tara was going to be accompany them as well as Mike, or in
her words, “Him and Her.” But everyone knew, without her powers or her just
being there, they would all is at a loss.
All was quiet...
Then a loud boom shook across the highway. A pair of figures flew down
to the gas station in front of the Calabro Crew. One was Joe the
Strong...revived from his previous loss by Zuk. Then next to him, was the
Philibuster clone, dressed his typical orange karate gi Zuk and Philibuster
stood ready in attack pattern...then they burst into Super Scholar forms. Then
they fired up their internal “chi” so a large golden flame covered their
bodies. But then Brian stepped forward. “Allow me gentleman, I got that evil
Philibuster clone over there.” As he pointed to the Super clone, he took a deep
breath. “Prepare for a show, all of you.” Then he clenched his fists hard, and
concentrated hard, as he powered up his energies. It flared up into a gold
flame. Then he screamed aloud as his hair stood up and changed to a gold and
his eyes shift to an emerald green. He had achieved his goal as Super Scholar. “Haha,
you think you guys are superior to me. Think again, I am your equals.” he said.
He dashed toward the Majin Philibuster. The clone blocked and hopped up into
the air into a flight, Brian did the same as he followed him as they were
locked into combat. Then the Majin gut punched Brian, which sent him plummeting
to the road of the highway, cars swirled off the road and rolling to avoid the
Super Scholar and his opponent. Then the Majin hovered down and picked Brian up
and threw him like rag doll directly to a car. He landed with a thud against
the windshield. It didn’t hurt him too bad, cause of his powers, but
nonetheless it did a little. He shook his head and tried to fly off, but the
car was uncontrollably driven off and on the road, and then it crashed onto a
tree, but Brian leapt off at the last second and landed next to it. He panted a
little bit, and then said, “You Bastard, that hurt!” He picked up the beaten up
car and threw it at the clone. Majin Philibuster tried to knock it away with
ease, but Brian performed a Zanzoken and appeared behind the clone and grabbed
him. The Majin couldn’t move as the car closed in. Then a squish sound as the
car crashed into the Majin and left him hurting a little bit, Brian back
flipped a few times then fired a replica of the Kamehameha, but his version is
the MehaKameha. With a bang and beam of “chi” he shot at the fallen clone. The
Majin quickly flipped up and tried to repel the attack with a similar beam. The
two beams locked into each other and grinded into each other, one trying to make
better then the other. Then with a final power up, Majin Philibuster roared and
his beam strengthen, his beam and it doubled in size and disintegrated Brian’s
and it hit him hard. He fell to the ground, beaten! He breathed heavily and was
charred up a bit and he fell into unconscious.
Meanwhile, as Richard saw his father fall from the attack, he tried to
dash toward him to help him. But Zuk held him back. Joe the Strong approached
them and hissed wildly at them. Zuk stepped forward to prepare to fight the
clone. But Calabro jumped into the way, “Hold things here, Zuk. I got a mind of
vengeance against this clone for messing me up last time.” he said to him.
Calabro drew his blade as well as Joe the Strong, as he hissed again. He dashed
at Calabro and the duo locked with the clash of steel. Clang! Clang! The two
locked together in mortal combat. Then the clone quickened the pace of his
attacks. Calabro did the same. Then the clone quickened even more, Calabro did
a little bit also, but not enough to keep up with him. The clone’s blade struck
his Hawaiian shirt armor and cleaved a piece off it. Then he kicked Calabro
away. Then Gilday jumped in and dulled with the clone, using his shotgun as a
sword, he kept up the pace of the clone with ease. Andrew stepped forward, “These
clones don’t ever seem to run out of energy. Our guys are losing strength fast.
I wish Caitlin was here to get them a quick revive.” she said. But Calabro was
down, catching his breath from the attack, and then a figure fell next to him,
very hard. A half dead Brian, breathing only heavily, “That’s it, we need a
quick exit. Philibuster protect all of us for a second, while I get us out of
here. Then whoever is still in good condition can come back with me and we can
still fight.” Zuk said. Philibuster stepped forward and shouted aloud as
lightning traveled across his body, then a light red transparent energy dome
covered the crew. The Super Clones then fired fireballs in bursts as fast as
Machine guns (Renzoku Energy Dan.) But the power of Philibuster’s “chi” shield
absorbed the attacks, although he was weakening up a bit. Then Zuk placed his
pointer and middle finger on his forehead and concentrated hard, to try his
teleport, but this time to move a multitude. Then in a flash, the group disappeared.
More “chi” shots from the clones hit the ground and burst into explosions.
Then the Calabro Crew reappeared in the Nurse’s office. Caitlin just
walked past the door and saw Brian being laid onto a bed, as well as Calabro
also. Caitlin ran screaming Brian’s name as she hugged her fallen boyfriend.
She stretched out her hands over him and the vapors of health, as the once
bruised and beaten Brian became fresh and healthy again. Then to Calabro, she
poured the spiritual healing vapor over him and he too became healthy again.
Then Zuk stepped forward, “Alright, I say we all fuse, Joe and I will. But I
will also want Dick and Brian to fuse as well to make another strong fusion.”
Then Zuk and Philibuster performed the fusion dance. The familiar movements of
arms and legs, then the energy bind that pulled the pair together as
Joe-squared. “We are Super Joe-squared. Now you try.” he said in stereo. Brian
and Richard shrugged their shoulder and tried to follow the exact pattern.
Standing parallel to each other a short distance, the pair mimicked the
patterns of the dance and on the final step the energy bond grabbed them both.
The two then combined together as one warrior. There he stood. Jet-black hair,
an angered look, the warrior spoke, “We are Brichard. The combination of Brian
and Richard.” The warriors stood perplexed, “Wait a second, I thought his name
was Dick. Well, we can ask him after they defuse.” Said Andrew. Both
Joe-squared and Brichard flew out of the window. The others figured that they
are too strong and they are going to watch things here.
Meanwhile, the Super Clones were creating tragedy within Middlebury.
They blew up a few houses and are now on their way to Lake Quassapaug.
Joe-squared and Brichard fled of as fast as they could toward their, as heard
on the TV sets in the school. The fused pair landed in front of the entrance
and saw that most of the park in ruins. Then a bumper car came rampaging
through Quassy and toward the fighters. In the car was Joe the Strong. “Haha...you
unlucky bastards are going to Hell, when I get through with you.” he shouted.
Then he leapt off the car and the car soured toward them. But each with a
Kamehameha and a MehaKameha the car exploded before it got close. “Ok, I think
we have an idea. If we (Brichard) run up to distract Joe the Strong, can you
fire that cool attack...uhhh...what’s it called...Oh yea, the Makenkosauppo?
Joe-squared nodded in affirmative. Then the clones pulled out small devices
that they attached to their ears with a lens across their eyes. “You see, when
the good Doctor created us androids, he made us incapable of sensing power like
you can. So he gave us these “scouters” to see your fighting power, and can
track you. So ha, you are in for it now.” Majin Philibuster said. Then he
clicked a button on the side of the scouter to check the fighting power of the
fuse duo. Numbers blared across the lens, which made a highlighted image of
Brichard on the lens. “Hmmmm, fighting power of 400,000,000. That is almost
impressive.” Then a highlighted image of Joe-squared appeared, “Ohh, fighting
power of 600,000,000. You all just shock me.” The clone said sarcastically. “Try
us!” Joe-squared said. Then both of them shouted a loud, as lightning sparked
around them, both of their hair stood up, their shouts continued, as they
stretched their arms out and in an instant fires of “chi” burst around them and
their eyes turned green and their hair turned gold.
Brichard ran toward Joe the
Strong in an outburst charge. Just before he would have crashed into him, he placed
his hands in front of him and blasted a mini-MehaKameha, which kicked him back
up a long ways up in the sky. While the clones were distracted by this,
Joe-squared pointed his pointer and middle finger and gracefully brushed it
against his eyes as the fingers powered up. Then he struck his arm out with the
fingers pointed at Joe the Strong, “Haha, MAKENKOSAUPPO...” he shouted as two
beams, one from each finger shot out. One circled the other like a screw. Then
in an instant it pierced the armor of Joe the Strong through his chest. He
coughed up blood and screamed aloud as he fell backwards, with a gaping hole in
his chest. He screamed his last and passed out and died. But Majin Philibuster
flew from above and high kicked Joe-Squared. They broke the fusion and Zuk fell
down. Majin Philibuster grabbed Zuk and slammed him against the wall, and threw
him into the air and he fired a bolt of energy, which struck our hero.
Philibuster flew up and picked up Zuk and flew off as fast as he could to the
school. The future was going to come true!
Brichard stood in ready position and prepared another assault. But
Majin Philibuster, angry about grief over his fallen friend, performed a quick
motion of hands, shouting, “GEKITOTSU BUU BUU VOLLEYBALL!!” and fired a ring beam
at Brichard. It hit him, and changed him into a spherical ball. He bounced a
few times then hit the ground. Then the Majin picked up the fused pair and with
all his strength pounded the ball into the air, all the way toward outer space.

to recover from his near death attack and as Philibuster tried to save Brichard
