Calabro Conversion Part II

Episode XIV: The Universe's Strongest!

After in which Zuk had disappeared from the crew, the tentacles grasped him and pulled him under to the unknown. From the last victory when the Henson clone had been massacred, the Calabro Crew had not noticed the disappearance of their comrade. But waited as two massive doors opened widely and out came out a figure. The darkness dissipated and revealed…Vechsurk had appeared!

Even though to Caitlin and Tara's dismay, that memory that in which they remember the Calabro Clone. The one who risked his life and killed him, severing his head and several other body parts off of him. But they saw him before them all. A mechanical one, a silver tint shined at him, replaced his arm, which was hacked off earlier. His face, which nearly was blown away, was replaced with cybernetic parts, which created a new eye to fix the old one and continued down his left cheek. The infrared eye shined deeply into them. Calabro and Philibuster drew their swords again in attack phrase. But Vechsurk had thrusted out his hand and bladed of both warriors flew from their hands and landed a few feet behind them. Then, he clapped his and another figure appeared behind him. It was Zuk…. Only his eye shown a demonic red and the halo was changed to a darker shade of heavenly light. He snarled at the Calabro Crew and hissed. Fangs leaked out his opened mouth. Joe Philibert had sensed that something evil has corrupted Zuk and he has corrupted him. Vechsurk had looked at him and said, "Well, my creation has been complete. Allow me to introduce Majin Zuk, the evil form of him. Philibuster jumped in front of the Calabro Crew and motioned them back. The end was near Joe felt it.

With his sword drawn, Philibuster dash toward him as Zuk did the same. Locked in combat and the clash of a sword and a Nyoibo staff. The action was on. Back and forth, blow after blow the two continued to strike at each other. No one was better then the other. Then Zuk slapped the staff onto Philibuster's leg and knocked him down. Dropping his sword, the smaller Joe fell. Zuk hovered over him, the staff pointed at his head, ready to command it to extend. Then in a quick motion, Philibuster grabbed the end of his staff and with all his super strength his tossed Zuk over him, and taking the staff with him. The staff fell to the ground. Philibuster got up and instantly transformed into his Super Scholar form. With his increased power, he dashed toward the newly recovered Zuk, whom also changed into his upgraded Super Scholar form. Then the two collided into combat, with fists flying as well as kicks and slams. Zuk knuckle slammed Joe into the ground. "He was just to strong in the level 2 form." Joe thought to himself. Then Zuk rested his right hand over his left and charged his "chi" and shouted aloud as he powered yet another new attack. He raised the hands together and shouted, "Masekno!" and fired a large beam right at Joe. But, an energy disk interrupted the beam.

Zuk and Philibuster turned to see a woman figure dressed in a red outfit, similar to a Sailor one. Two long pigtails draped over her left and right shoulder. Philibuster looked at her, he knew that this was a legendary Sailor Senshi. Then, stood before them was…Stephanie. "Now, we're even, Joe." she said to him. Zuk snarled at her and made an attempt to dive at her. But thankfully, Calabro checked him in midair to stop him. Then Stephanie pulled out a scepter of some sort. Then reaching out toward Joe, she circled it as magic dust sprinkled around as she said, "Now to heal Joe, Heavenly Heal…Now!" The dust sprayed all around him and ate away at the veins popping out of his forehead and his demonic eyes changed back to the green of a Super Scholar. Zuk shook his head; not realizing what went on. Philibuster got up; walked past her, no thank you or anything, just right past her toward Vechsurk. Stephanie frowned a little…but she was used to all this, lately it hasn't been good for either of them. Zuk also walked toward Vechsurk, but had thanked Stephanie and readied to battle their new enemy. Tara shouted, "Joe fuse with the other. You need the power to beat him." Zuk took one look at the other and snickered, "I'm not going to fuse with him, not after he treated Stephanie like he did. I am taking is out on my own.

With that, Zuk leapt toward the villain and locked them in hand-to-hand combat. Philibuster watched the two duke it out and decided to join in as well. The massive spray of energy from each hit of the two Super Scholar's were still not enough to defeat, Vechsurk. Zuk was knocked back and landed hard on the ground as Philibuster fought onward, not gaining any luck on the fight. Then, Zuk began to fade. He realized that his time left to be undead has been diminished; he had to find that cursed medallion. The other Joe slugged Vechsurk in the chest, then grabbed some necklace of some sort and pulled hard on it, ripping it off. In doing so he chucked it behind him, landing in front of Zuk. Zuk picked it up and examined it, "Is....is it...no, the language I recognize as a form of Latin...it's not the Medallion of Life...but it's a Medallion of Wishes. Maybe I can make a wish." With that he raised the medallion above him and shouted, "I WISH TO BE BROUGHT ALIVE TO THIS PHYSICAL PLAIN!!!" Then a bright light broke through and an image of a Chinese Dragon swam through the sky and coiled around Zuk and constricted him. "SOOO BE IT...." His eyes flared up a bright red and Zuk felt an upraise in power as his halo disintegrated and he felt whole again.

Feeling revived, Zuk leapt into battle. The Medallion fell from his hands and burst into five pieces, which Caitlin and Tara gathered together. Zuk rammed into the chest of Vechsurk, breaking through his strong metallic shell and nailed him all the way to the ground. Vechsurk got up, and rubbed his stomach for comfort, "You ass, that freakin' hurt. Well it seems you have a bit more spark since you made a wish on my Medallion. Although you may have the pieces, you can only make a wish once a year. But you won't live to do it again." He floated a few feet in the air. “Now to blow this planet up. He stretched both hands out and fire huge fireballs toward the ground of the planet. A massive exploded brightened the area.

All was quiet and dark...

But we we're still alive, when the light dissipated. A huge gash appeared in the planet, leaving a trail to the core, where it was sliced a little bit, but the blast must have barely missed it. "Dammit, I missed the core. But maybe it's better that way. I skinned the planet core and now you all have to try to escape before the whole damn thing blows. I have no worry; I can regenerate and live in space. You on the other hand, will die if this blows." Vechsurk said as he chuckled. He was right they all thought. They had to get out of there, but how? The planet is going to blow any minute now. Then a rocket boost crashed the second of silence...The Tara's spaceship flew directly over toward them. "Ohh a means of escape, well, well, well...Oh now you don't." Vechsurk said. He aimed his hand out toward the ship and charged a fireball to blow it up. But Super Scholar Zuk dove onto of him and pummeled him down to the ground as the ship landed. Quickly everyone boarded the ship, all except Zuk. Dwire was at the controls, along with Tara who just boarded. Stephanie turned before she boarded the ship. "Joe, come on!" she shouted to him. Zuk gave Vechsurk a strong left hook to send him flying. "No, I’ll hold him off. You all go; I'll find a way to get out of here. It's me." Zuk answered. He flew over to the villain and the two locked in combat some more. The other Joe began to disembark from the ship to help his friend. But Calabro grabbed his shoulder, "No, leave him. He can handle things here." he said. Joe couldn't let that happen, he didn't want Joe to die...again!

Then Tara closed the doors of ship and blasted off as the Super Scholar and the leader of the clone menace dueled on the dying planet. Tara blasted the ship as fast as it could go. Zuk powered up with a Kaioken times 20 and pounded the life out of the villain with random punches and kicks to the stomach and chest area. Then with the strongest punch of all, he nailed Vechsurk a distance away. Then he stretched out his hands high above him. Zuk began to summon the spirits of the deceased, the strength left of the dying planet, as well as strength from its moons. As Vechsurk got up and prepared to counter Zuk's attack, Zuk had already completed his ball of destructive capabilities. He thrusted his hands in front of him saying, "GENKI-DAMA...FIRE!!" Then the Genki-Dama flew at unseen speed at Vechsurk. All he could do was watch as became shocked as the ball pounded right at him and disintegrated him instantly. Zuk looked at the hole close to him, the core was almost unstable and ready to blow at any minute. He had to get out of there. He remembered Vechsurk mentioning about a spaceship around here he can steal. He looked up and onto of the fallen castle, from which the earthquakes of the core caused, was a ship, mostly intact he assumed. He flew up to there and opened the door. He got to the control panel and figured out a few calculations and he pressed the start button. A wave of sound from the engine swirled, as Zuk smiled, looks like he is going to get away from this. Then the ship's engine crashed, silence... "Ohh...Sh-..." Then the planet blew up.

A month later, after the whole saga of torment and fear, everything was back to normal, although many absences of Zuk in English and History saddened the Calabro Crew. Just then after school one day, Caitlin and Tara brought the five pieces of the Medallion together. Then it shook wildly, the familiar Dragon burst from the medallion and hovered over the Calabro Crew. "WHAT IS YOUR WISH?" he growled heavily. We wish for Zuk to return to this physical plain." Shouted Joe. The Dragon's eyes flared, then died. "THE ONE YOU CALL ZUK CANNOT BE WISHED BACK TO LIFE, FOR HE IS NOT DEAD." Cries of happiness filled the room as they heard the good news, "Then return Zuk to Earth and PHS now." Joe said. The Dragon's eyes flared up again and died, "I CANNOT, THE ONE YOU CALL ZUK CANNOT BE RETURNED HERE, FOR HE IS TOO FAR AWAY AND MY POWES HAVE BEEN LIMITED SINCE I AM NOT ON ARLIA."

Silence filled the room. Then Calabro walked into the room, "Any of you guys seen Bastedo, I got to stack of paper's for him." Caitlin snapped, "Wait a second, let's wish Sean back, he was already dead. Maybe we'll run into Joe on a later date." Joe Philibert stepped forward, "Dragon, we wish for you to return Sean Bastedo to this physical plain." The Dragon's eyes flared the bright red and died to a duller red. Then the Dragon disappeared and the Medallion's split apart to the five pieces and flew out of the school in five different directions and in a bright flare, Sean appeared. "It's about freakin’ time. I've been dead for month now, what you people need some help. Here I risked my life to save you all, but nooooo… I get wished last, when everyone else’s wish can't be made. I'll remember this.” Sean stormed out of the room and home. The Calabro Crew shrugged their shoulders and off they went home, waiting for the return of Zuk!
