Calabro Conversion Part II

Episode XI: The Demon Horde!

The intense training continued! Zuk had just transformed to his Super Scholar self, while fighting Piccolo. Reaching behind his back, Zuk had pulled his Nyoibo staff. He spun around like a helicopter blade as fell toward the ground. Piccolo jumped up to kick Zuk, but was stopped with the staff. Piccolo then grabbed Zuk by the collar of his Namek-jin suit; he lifted him off the ground, pulled his arm back, flexing his arm for maximum power and gave Zuk a strong right hook to his face. He tossed him like a rag doll to the ground. Zuk got up and rubbed the blood from his face and ran toward his opponent. He took the staff and pointed it toward Piccolo. “Nyoibo staff extend” shouted Zuk. The staff immediately acted upon Zuk’s request and it extended ten feet toward Piccolo, which poked him in the stomach, knocking him in the stomach and to the ground. As he began to get up, Zuk ran toward him, thrusted the staff into the ground (and with his great pole vaulting skills) swung up and landed on top of the now standing Piccolo. He began to wildly kick at Piccolo with several bicycle kicks and the last one was the strongest of all and punctured through Piccolo’s body and out the back. Piccolo fell backwards and vanishing in an instant. Zuk had won the day.

Kaio got up from his desk, and congratulated him for a job well done. “Well done, Joe, you have proven yourself, now onward to training you to your next level of strength.” said Kaio, who then lead him into a larger room and into the next challenge.

Meanwhile, the ship that Tara had created was whizzing by space at incredible speed. She was busy at the controls keeping her ship steady and on course. In the passenger seats were Calabro, his clone, and Caitlin. “Almost there, another hour we will be near the atmosphere of Arlia and saving the day in no time.” said Tara as she throttled the ship. In the back of the ship, were some supply boxes for the ship. A few rummaging sounds began to alarm the Calabro clone, who had an acute sense of hearing. A box fell to the floor. Calabro who saw his clone become uneasy wondered what was going on. The clone got up from his seat and walked to the rear of the ship to investigate. The others with the exception of Tara followed him. The clone examined the fallen box, and found nothing. A sign of relief filled the cargo area for the moment.

A set of two shrieks echoed through the cargo area. Alarmed at the sudden sounds, both Calabro’s drew their swords, and Caitlin pulled her whip from her belt (which Tara had found for her earlier.) Two female beings leapt into the air with arms spread, ready for an attack. They landed. The short one moved into the light with a light hiss, it was Caitlin...only it was her clone.

The other stepped forward, it was the Tara clone and both demon-like clones were identical to their predecessor, with the exception of deep red eyes and sharp teeth. Obviously with their shrieking too, they were demons. The Caitlin clone leapt toward the real Caitlin to attack her, but Caitlin sensed this action and snagged her whip at the demon’s leg, and pulled it straight to the ground. The Calabro clone ran off toward the Caitlin clone to behead and kill it. But it was too fast and flipped off the ground and kicked the clone in to head, which made him fall and hit the ground very hard. The Caitlin Clone leapt again to finish off the clone, but Calabro interrupted her attack and checked her off to the side to protect his look-alike. The Tara clone then too leapt into the air to aid her companion in this fight. Caitlin was in the way during the Tara clone’s leap and the clone slashed her wit her sharp claws. Caitlin fell backwards because the cut was beginning to drain her of all of her vitality. She motioned her hand over the cut and the familiar green waves poured out and the ripped flesh folded into each other and became anew. She got up completely healed.

Caitlin ran toward the Tara clone and punched it into the stomach as heard as she could; she was pretty made at it for ripping her favorite shirt. She shouted, “You fool, your going to pay for that!” She proceeded to beat the crap out of the clone. Then the real Tara appeared from the doorway to the bridge of the ship “What, somebody call me...pay for what anyways.” she said, “Ohh my gosh, what the heck is this. Ewww man, those guys are disgusting.” The Caitlin clone was still being occupied by the two Calabro’s, making no progress to killing her, and vice versa. A slash of their swords to it, it jumped and tried to scratch it, perfect defense by their blades. Calabro sliced at the Caitlin clone’s arm, which cut into it pretty deeply. The enraged clone leapt and pinned Calabro down and fired a slimy, sticky secretion at the clone, which pinned it to the wall of the ship. An electrical rope and claw flew over the Caitlin clone and planted it self on it’s chest. A surge of electricity ran through the clone and it slowly fell weak and fell over unconscious.

The rope was traced to a tazer Tara was carrying over where she stood. “I made this little doo-dad while I had the ship on auto pilot.” she stated. The Tara clone faced Caitlin and knocked her senseless and dashed toward Tara. Tara screamed in fear, she couldn’t fire the tazer fast enough to take out her clone. She stood their frozen! Then a sound echoed from behind them. A voice shouted, “Never fear, the number one god is hear.” and a figure appeared with a massive double bladed axe and landed in front of Tara to block off her clone. With a swift swing of the lower staff part of the axe, he tripped the clone to the floor. He lifted his blade and with a swift motion he took his axe and sliced it’s head off with a clean stroke. Green blood oozed from the neck and onto the floor. The poor lighting of the cargo bay showed the figure as Sean Bastedo, who mad dashed toward the recovered the Caitlin clone. The clone got up and seeing Bastedo, tried to defend against his strike. He elbowed the Caitlin look-like against the wall and stepped back and twirled his axe overhead. He then sliced through the clone’s head and it landed with a light thud.

All was quiet! With the exception of Bastedo’s “Yeah, baby, yeah!” Triumphant shout from beating those clones so easily. Everyone got up and examined the carcass of the clones they had battled. Then out of no where, the body of the Tara clone slowly ascended from the floor and in a zombie like walk tried to get at the crew from behind. They turned, almost too late! Then a laser blast shined the cargo bay and hit the resurrected Tara clone and instantly incinerated it to nothing. All turned toward where the beam was fired. Out of the darkness of some fuel barrels was Tim Dwire. “Umm... sup?” said the low key Dwire, who was dressed in a light space outfit with a tag on his suit ‘Spaceman Dwire.’ The Calabro crewed stood in question to the new member of their now growing party. Then, Tim began to sing a victory song. “Space man...space man, I’m hear to save the day...” Bastedo shook his head in despair, “Shut up Dwire, you suck!” The Spaceman stopped suddenly took a depressing sign and walked off to the bridge of the ship.

The ship flew onward toward a large greenish planet out of the distance. Tara still manned the controls and Tim as copilot shifted the ship toward the large planet. “There she is guys, Planet Arlia. Isn’t she a beauty?” said Tim as he pointed onto the screen toward the planet. Everyone nodded, but remembered what they were there for. They have to stop the alien horde that has plagued their school and planet yet again. As of right now, the aliens are still overrunning. The school and all around, cloning and colonizing planet Earth. The ship landed with a large thud onto a dark and rocky area on the planet, echoes of creatures roaring and snarling in the distance, as the party existed the ship. Sean looked over the horizon to spot a magnificent palace and city awhile down. The he looked at what they have to travel through. Dark, gloomy and infested cliffs toward their glow, and that’s when the hard part starts. “I’ve got a bad feeling about all this.” he whispered quietly as the Calabro Crew walked onward into the darkness.

Meanwhile in heaven, Zuk had been intensely training with Kaio on his palace arena for around a month now. From sparring with fantasy creatures to feats of endurance as racing speedy simian-like humanoids, Zuk had already felt faster and stronger in both mind and body. At last Kaio had to teach Zuk the final attack to add to his already arsenal. “Now Joe, you know of that new power up technique I showed you.” he said. Joe nodded in response. “Well, don’t use it unless you have to, it is a power that goes beyond your already powerful Super scholar form, and it applies pressure to your body like the kaioken. But now I must teach you the Genki-Dama, a great attack that will help you destroy that alien race that has broken the laws of space.” Zuk had little knowledge of what he was talking about, so he began to start it off like he said. He reached his arms up into heaven’s sky. He pulled energy from everything, the trees, the people, and even the ground. All was contributing to the ball that was being formed by Zuk. After five minutes or so of constructing the ball, he held the ball over his head, waiting for instruction. “Ok, good job Joe, now use your mind to feel out the right time to throw this ball, don’t use your instinct, feel it out.” said Kaio as he levitated a boulder into the air, he motioned Zuk to aim the ball toward the rock. Kaio then through it toward him, Zuk concentrated hard and felt the presence of the rock coming toward him. Then in a large push he shoved the massive ball toward the boulder. When it hit, the rock disintegrated into nothing but rubble. The impact also kicked Kaio and Zuk back a few yards back.

Very impressed with his work, Kaio clapped his hands. “Very well done Joe, you have completed all the tasks I have shown you. You are definitely prepared for the fight. Now all you have to do it wait for your friends to wish you back.” “WHAT...I though you were going to just   teleport me to the living again.” Kaio shook his head and said, “No Joe, can’t do that. See you are dead and your friends must wish you back with the Medallion of Wishes located on the Planet Arlia, which will grant the user a single wish. Unfortunately for you, the aliens are holding the Medallion as a treasure to them. Ok, since I didn’t tell you everything, I will give you a deal. I will allow you to return to your friends, except you will still be dead, but in a physical form. Although when you defeat the aliens you will be recalled back, unless you are wished by the medallion.” Joe was wide eyed by all this and then walked over to a tree and sat there and meditated, wondering how he will contact his friends to look out for the Medallion of Life.
