Calabro Conversion Part II
Episode X: Onward to Arlia
Vechsurk
had stood up with his lost arm and looked at it in such disgust. He then
stretched out the stump of his right arm and concentrated deeply. Instantly, a
new arm regenerated back from the stump before. Super Scholar Philibuster stood
before him in his new transformed state, a look of anger and despair rushed
through him. He wanted revenge from the death of Zuk at his hands. Calabro was
still in confusion as to what Philibuster was, he had no idea of a student’s
pure form, almost identical to Hitler’s beliefs of the pure Aryans with gold
hair and green eyes to be superior to the normal man.
Joe
prepared to make an attack to Vechsurk, when he saw someone, or something fly
above and drew a sword from his back. The darkened figure lifted the sword
above his head and sliced two fire fighter commanders in the front as soon as
he hit the ground. The fire fighter clones, in fear scattered and ran into the
school again. Then he dashed in front of Vechsurk and in front of the Calabro
crew. The figure looked very familiar, with his bright red Hawaiian shirt and
khaki pants and looked like glasses on his face. Caitlin glanced over to look
at the new figure, who’s head began to turn and then shouted, “Its...the
Calabro clone! We’re in trouble now.” The clone made no expression and then
looked into Vechsurk’s eyes. The alien leader, then said, “You know, you guys
piss me off, all these swords, isn’t very nice to play. Why don’t you let me
have the sword and have a go?” The clone smiled devilishly and handed him his
carbon copy of Calabro’s sword. “Haha, foolish clone, you will meet
your...DOOM!” replied Vechsurk as he lifted the sword above his head to kill
the Calabro clone. As he pulled to blade to slice the clone in half, the clone
reached up and grabbed the sides of the blades, without cutting himself.
Vechsurk choked for a second, he thought there was no way something like that
could happen. “Looks like it isn’t just the sword.” said the Calabro clone so confidently.
He
pulled his left hand back and flexed it as hard as he could and made a left
hook right into the stomach of the leader. His arm and hand busted through and
popped out the other side. Blood sprayed from the hole in his stomach and the
mouth as the leader fell backwards and passed out into a gruesome death. The
clone turned to the party assembled before him. Tara and Caitlin were getting a
bit nervous, but Super Scholar Joe and Calabro were not at all worried as they
began to crouch slightly and ready themselves for any surprise attacks. The
clone sheathed the sword back into its place and remained motionless. Calabro
stepped forward and then asked, “What the hell do you want?” The clone then
replied, “I was overthrown from my evil ways and have reformed to protect
myself and my real self, namely you Calabro.”
He
gave a serious look into Calabro’s eyes. With empty threats pouring from the
others, Calabro halted them with his hand and then said, “I believe him with
the look he gave me, I understand his true feelings, let him join us, we need
all the help we can get.” As much as most of them were against it, they did
welcome the clone into the party. “So, how are we going to stop the invasion
and save the world again?” asked Tara to the clone. “Well, we have to journey
to the Alien home planet and stop them from there. Sure, we can keep stopping
them over and over, but they will just keep coming back for more.” replied the
Calabro clone. Everyone agreed, yes they have to go to the home planet that
they knew was Arlia, as Vechsurk had mentioned earlier. “So, then. How are we
all going to get there?” asked Caitlin. Tara, who pulled out a small
calculator, and began to punch in various numbers and signs at a furious rate,
The she said, “Well we need to take coordinates, 56543578-1242588 to reach
Arlia in approximately two standard Earth weeks.” Everyone stood motionless and
then Joe, who released his new power asked, “How the hell did you get those
numbers?”
Unbeknownst
to all of them, they didn’t realize that Tara was gifted with great
intelligence upon the arrival of the clones again. “It’s all purely simple, we
design a spaceship using these coordinates.” said Tara as she revealed a paper
with designs for a large round spaceship. But since I am so smart, I already
built it.” She then pointed to the rear of the school, where she had mentioned
it was built. Everyone shrugged their shoulders and walked up the hill toward
the back of the school. Indeed there was a massive spacecraft designed exactly
to Tara’s specifications. They all boarded, with the exception of Philibuster,
who had “other plans” to get their, he had to settle some business, and the
rest moved into the cockpit area while Tara flew the ship. Still, many didn’t
understand Tara’s new found ability, but then they wondered, is it possible
that she could be smarter then...Andrew Dylag. Maybe or maybe not.
The
spaceship lifted off and flew straight up into the place we call, space.
Meanwhile, above the school and into the clouds and into the parallel dimension
of the dead, a revived (but dead) Zuk head entered a building past the gates of
the heavens. In there was silence and the place was empty. Far beyond the end
of the building was a large figure at a desk. He was taking notes of some sort,
which did interest Zuk to a certain capacity. He went over to the figure to
find out what was going on. The figure, looked over to Zuk and said, “Name.”
Zuk wondered why he asked, and then said, “Joe Zukoski.”
The
figure, who must of been some representative of the great beyond flipped
through numerous pages of a great book till he found what he wanted. “Here you
are, but wait you aren’t supposed to be here yet. Have you died of natural
causes?” Zuk shook his head as a no. “Well, I can see planet Earth is in
trouble and I see bad visions for your friend’s departure to Arlia. So I can
cut you some slack. In order to prepare you for the final battle, I will train
you in some advanced forms of martial arts to help you in the near future. When
you have completed your training here, I can send you directly to your friends
from there. Why am I doing this you may ask? See, I made a bet with a few
others that you will win, so I am only trying to help you out a little.” “Okay,
sounds fair, so when do I start this new training.” asked Joe. “Right now, I
guess, by the way, my name is Kaio-sama, but you can call me Kaio for short. I
am the guardian of Earth, a small part of the universal religions.” replied
Kaio. “First of all, to make a good test and beginning to your studies. I want
you to fight an opponent you first think of, all his powers and abilities will
be close to yours and his fighting styles will be exactly as he is portrayed.”
Joe
tried to think hard, when the Kaio snapped his fingers and a large door to his
right opened and out appeared a caped figure, he wore a turban and similar
clothing style to Zuk’s. He was green faced as well as having pointy ears and
an evil look. “Oh no, it’s Piccolo!” shouted Zuk. The being walked slowly into
the room with an angry look, “Yes, prepare to die.” He grabbed at his turban
and pulled it off and threw on the ground and landed with a thud. He whipped
off his cape and it too landed with a thud. He cracked his neck and knuckles
and rushed at Zuk with a flying dash. Zuk at the time had removed his cape to
add the extra speed; he knew he was going to need it. Piccolo curled his right
arm and flexed it for extra power and punched at Zuk. Zuk defended by crossing
his arms, both fighters were locked into hard combat, fists furiously flying
around trying to hit each other. They moved so fast, the attacks were almost in
blurs. With a lot of growls and roars from Piccolo, he managed to get a kick
and an uppercut into Zuk and he flew up into the sky. The green Namekian opened
his mouth and fired a “chi” fireball from there. Zuk, sensing this, because he
knew Piccolo’s fighting style, grasped his fists and shouted aloud as he burst
into a Super Scholar. In a confident slap he nailed the fireball and knocked it
into the side of the room. Piccolo did understand the power Zuk possessed. Zuk
stared Piccolo down and rushed into him to make his attack.

training of Zuk continues as well as the Calabro Crew continuing their journey
to Arlia, and the mystery they face.
