1. Your site does not *have* to be about royalty. WS is a royalty-based website, but winners of the award can have websites about anything at all.
2. Your site must be family friendly. No pornographic or adult-rated content should be found at all on the site. Minor swearing could be accepted (after all, there is swearing in one essay on WS) as long as a note is visible explaining that there is swearing and that viewers should use their discretion.
3. Few or none broken links. Also, all pages on the site should be easily accessable and the site should be checked frequently for broken links or problems.
4. You must sign the WS guestbook and let me know what you think of WS. Whether you're a monarchist or a republican, your comments about my site are welcome.
5. Grammar and spelling should be good. I understand that quite a few people in the world do not speak English as a first language, but those that do should have very few grammar and spelling mistakes on their sites (again, I know typos happen, so do spelling errors...even to English majors like me, LOL).
6. The site must be a "beautiful site" that moves me in some way. Whether it's with poetry or pictures or essays or all of the above, it doesn't matter.
7. Proper credit to all graphics/pictures/words on the site that are not the property of the webmaster must be clearly given on a credit or disclaimer page or section of the website.
