Walker Texas Ranger

"Walker Texas Ranger" is perhaps the most underrated show in the history of television. Man, it's awesome. Known mostly for its over-the-top scenarios and ridiculous violence, few people actually recognize (much less appreciate) the artistic value of Walker. Walker is, of course, the crime-drama television series starring the legendary Chuck Norris as Walker. The show aired on the USA and TBS networks for over 10 years, and its reruns are still in heavy rotation. For anyone who has never seen Walker, every episode basically goes like this: Some gangster or thug goes around causing trouble in Texas, and its Walker's assignment to take him out. Generally there will be some sort of chase (car, helicopter, horse, you name it), and Walker will end up having to use his sweet martial arts skills to defeat the bad guy. It's practically guaranteed something will blow up, too. Walker is a complete "lone wolf" and everyone loves him for it. Also, Walker has this thing for helping out kids in the community. He's always hanging around orphanages and youth centers (which is kind of sketch, in my opinion) and telling these kids not to do drugs, join gangs, etc. This all seems kind of tacked on by producers so that every episode can have some sort of "Oh, Walker!" moment like you'd expect from a show like Saved By the Bell of Who's the Boss. Every moron in the world knows Walker would rather be blowing stuff up and/or kicking people in the face than chilling with these brats. I mean, come on.
