Bloom, who has long blonde hair in the film, plays feisty elf Legolas Greenleaf. He now sports a shorn head for his role in director Rdiely Scott's new war flick Black Hawk Down, co-staring Josh Hartnett and Ewan McGregor. The first movie in the $270 million-budget The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Fellowship of The Ring, opens here in December.
