Mary-Kate and Ashley play twin sisters Sam and Emma Stanton. They are asked by their dad to take part in that years soccer league which was now allowing girls to take part. At the tryouts Emma was chosen for her dads team 'The Hurricanes' and Sam was chosen for Willard's team 'The Buzzards'. After a few practises they decide to switch teams so now Sam would play for 'The Hurricanes' and Emma would play for 'The Buzzards'. The girls play a few games on their new teams until their mum comes to one of their practises as she can't make any of the games and finds out what was going on. Sam and Emma go back to their old teams and both teams get through to the final. 'The Hurricanes' and 'The Buzzards' go head to head in the final. Near the end of the game 'The Hurricanes' goal keeper is hurt so Sam suggests Emma takes his place. The final ends in a draw and Emma finally finds her position.
