Todd: No way!
Tea: Todd...
Todd: Don't bother doing that soft thing with your voice. It won't work. You're not talking me into this.
Tea: This isn't your decision. It's mine. I need to speak to him.
Todd: I won't allow it.
Tea: You won't allow it?
Todd: That's what I said.
Tea: I'm the one who makes all the decisions for myself, not you. Got that?
Viki: Tea, I agree with Todd. Mitch Lawrence is a dangerous man.
Tea: I'm aware of that.
Viki: Are you? Are you aware of what he did to me, and to my daughters?
Tea: Not completely. Todd did fill me in on enough to know that normally I wouldn't want to be anywhere near this man, but this isn't a normal situation.
Todd: It won't work.
Tea: I have to try.
Viki: I don't understand. Why do you want to meet him? What interest do you have in Mitch Lawrence?
Tea: I think he may have been the reason my mother abandoned me when I was a little girl.
Todd: He won't tell you the truth. He doesn't even know how to do that.
Tea: I need to do this.
Todd: It won't bring her back.
Tea: If she really did leave to protect me, I need to know.
Viki: Was your mother a member of his cult?
Tea: I don't know anything for certain. Todd and I were talking about certain things that happened in our childhoods recently and...
Todd: Let's get back to talking about our being back together.
Tea: I have a boyfriend, a live-in boyfriend, remember?
Todd: Go ahead, talk about your boy toy. Viki can relate. She had a boy toy, too, until he broke.
Viki: Ben is still my husband.
Tea: What happened to Ben?
Viki: It's a long story, but he's been in a coma for months and is in Switzerland receiving treatment.
Tea: That's terrible. I'm so sorry, Viki. (to Todd) Why didn't you tell me?
Todd: I didn't think you'd care that he's a veggie sandwich is Swiss cheese land.
Viki: He is still my husband no matter what his present medical condition is, or where he's being treated. Either respect that or leave our home immediately.
Todd: You don't have to get so uptight. I didn't mean anything bad.
Viki: You never mean anything bad when you hurt people, but you hurt them just the same.
Todd: They hurt me, too. They bail on me when I need them.
Tea: I did not bail on you. Don't you ever think about anyone but yourself?
Todd: What about you? Why are you assuming I was talking about you? Feeling guilty?
Tea: As a matter of fact, I'm feeling completely guilt-free, especially after what you did.
Viki: What did he do this time?
Todd: Let's get back to talking about Mr. Evil...the other Mr. Evil.
Tea: I don't think you're evil, Todd, despite the fact that you tried to end my current relationship by claiming I was having an affair with you.
[Viki glares disapprovingly at Todd.]
Todd: She kissed me...on the lips. I thought the guy deserved to know his chick was playing around on him.
Tea: You told him that we had sex...numerous times.
Todd: We did.
Tea: Not that night.
Todd: Technicality.
Tea: Truth. We haven't been together, that way, since you abandoned me on that island and never looked back.
Todd: I looked back. I waved.
Tea: And you wonder why I don't want to be with you ever again?
Todd: Why are you still so pissed at me about that, anyway? Maybe your boy toy wasn't so understanding about you stepping out on him.
Tea: He was very understanding. He knew that you had lied to him. He also knows that you're an ass.
[Tea takes a deep breath and addresses her sister-in-law, embarrassed at her inability to control her reaction to Todd.]
Tea: I'm sorry, Viki. I didn't come here to fight with Todd.
Todd: We can do that at home.
Tea: I'm not going home with you...wherever home is these days.
Todd: You'll see.
Tea: No, I won't. Viki, will you help me make peace with my mother's memory?
Todd: No, she won't!
Viki: Of course I will.
Todd: Just because you hate my guts, you're going to sacrifice Tea, so you can hurt me?
Viki: Since you clearly care so much about Tea...
Todd: Whatever.
Viki: I think you should go with her.
[Tea looks at Todd, uncertain how he would handle a confrontation with Mitch Lawrence.]
Tea: That won't be necessary.
Todd: That's right, because you won't be going anywhere near that creep. I forbid it!
