Your Weekly Townsend Fix Column 38

Hey Everyone!

Well I must admit...Valentine's day wasn't as shabby as I thought it was gonna be. In fact I ended up with a very special. I spent it mainly with my computer but a good friend was my valentine through the computer. A guy friend and I were both spending the day on the computer and ran into each other and got to talking...it was one of those things where we'd never be more than friends but it was exactly how I needed to spend my Valentine's day. All in all....it was a good day, and Valentine's day isn't made for lovers, boyfriends, and girlfriends, and husbands and wives...it's also made for friends.

I got a 4 day weekend! And what I get from people in the chat some of you have the full week off! So not fair! All this weekend I've been running around! Of the 4 days off I ended up only sleeping in 1 day! I've been running around doing stuff ever since my Friday off! I went to the dentist to get those pearly whites actually white, and went with Mel to the doctors. She took off the fiberglass splint and she's in a sling. For those of you who watch Friends, (this is how I described it to Courtney lol) she has the same kind of sling Joey had in the "Jam episode." You know the one where Joey jumps on his bed and it "fell out of his socket." It's also the episode where Monica makes jam and Joey gets an entire batch to himself...remember it people? Well Mel's in one of those slings where it wraps around your body. She was going ok but fell on some stairs at a gym (yes she still cheerleads with 1 arm) and one of the stairs going up is higher than the others and she fell and landed on her bad arm. The coaches were really nice and so was Carol, their younger sister on the squad with Mel. So what to write? I was talking to Holly and I"m in a fat block as far as writing goes. There's so much on my mind that I haven't had time to really think about the column! No joke I'm sitting in my PJ pants, and Riordan sweatshirt midday trying to figure out what to write! I'm kinda hungry too...see there's another thing on my mind. I had an In 'N Out burger and that was ok for a while and now i'm hungry again. I don't know what to say about the guys that I haven't said before. Let me tell you though the things that I get on them and their reactions. I mean for the long time fans it's totally funny and for the newer fans, this can be amusing.

Well it's normal that I get emails from you guys every now and then about Ryan saying how cute he is and stuff. I get emails from some of the members that don't post frequently but do check on the club. Well I wrote an email to Rye's email and I don't remember what it was all about but I said something about how hott we all think he is. I told him that I get emails but I wouldn't tell him. And he wrote back going "WHHHHHHHAAAAT YOU HAVE TO TELL ME WHAT YOU GET TOLD SOMETIMES!" Of course Rye always writes in caps but this time I have a feeling he totally meant it. It brings back that quiet, curious side to Rye that isn't as present sometimes. I mean that really caught his attention...A LOT. I told him that if he really wanted to know what I get in emails he'd have to convince me...he has yet to present his convincing...maybe he got distracted. :)

As for Todd...I get asked sometimes about the whole "Big Bro, Lil Sis" relationship we've got goin on. See the deal with that is that I aknowledge him as my brother, no if ands or buts. I talk about him as if he were a biological big brother because of the fact that if I said "he's like my big brother" it wouldn't feel all the same you know? But some readers get TOTALLY confused. They ask me why we don't look alike and stuff like that. I get that sometimes with my friends that aren't familiar with me calling him my big bro. One of my friends got frustrated with me going back and forth to "he's my brother but not like that" talk. It's funny sometimes but hard to explain how a brother is a brother and say he's not. Did I confuse you?

I get plenty of the "Holly Status" (as in Holly of Dream) as far as all those rumors of Dom and her go. I think it's funny. I don't know if Dom laughs about it though as much as I do sometimes. I think it's the fact that Holly and most of us are the same age. I don't think it's necesarily funny but uncommon to have a relationship like that. It seems almost too easy to any of us to have something like that, but hey it's Holly of Dream. My guy said that it doesn't matter how old a girl is sometimes, but then again this is the exact same guy who thinks that oreos and cheese whiz makes a good appetizer. I told Dom about it...I think he shook it off as best he could since he's boggled down with that rumor enough. We DO know for a fact though that the guys are friends with the girls of Dream. The Cheese Whiz and Oreo loving friend has asked me to request the dating status of Melissa and report back to him. I don't know, I may be taking a total stab in the dark but I don't think that cheese whiz and oreos with style and voice are a matchmade in heaven...but hey you know what they say about opposites. As for Nick and Matt...I don't get a lot of dirt on them. Sad because I'd particularly enjoy the dirt that people have heard about our St. Matt. That guy knows I love him but I rip on him sometimes so much lol. I think it's because he's such a GOOD BOY. But I can tell you this, the rumors about Matt that I've heard are so far fetched. As few as they are they're impossible. Have you heard that Matt and Pine Sol lady rumor? I think the name of that rumor speaks for itself. Luckily I only got one email about it. I have recieved absolutely NO Nick rumors! Hmmm...who's keeping a tight lip on any juicy rumors? I can tell you for a fact though Nick has got to be one of the most amusing people sometimes. On a one on one he's funny. He was telling me that he has to pay a fine for every Sharpie he loses and I believe it's a 5 dollar fine for every five minutes he's late or something...so there's some things to remember for ya about Nick, never ask for his Sharpie and never retain him. As for the water bottles...I think those are still free for both of you. haha

Haha oh the fun times of emails. Please keep them coming. If I don't respond right away it's probably because of one of two reasons...1) I"m trying to find a way to tell you it's false and you've been had or 2) I'm asking the guys if it's true or not. There's a pretty much split down the middle for both of them. Of course I know better when to ask whether or not they're true. I have heard the "Todd's love child" rumor about 6 times all in different context. Let me tell any of you now, and all of you rumor starters....the guys are too good for those nasty rumors you hear. The guys are straight up, honest, and would never lie to us. And if they're lying to me right now this very second, they must be too good at the game. And really I think that the only game they're good at is the Charming game and Can't Stand The Heat...haha that the twins are good at. I dont' think they make very good liars. And for those of you who have been in the chat when they try to keep a cover...haha you KNOW how horrible of liars they can be.

Ok that's it for now. I'm hungry and Mom and Dad are supposed to bring home some burritos for now I think I'll have some chips and soda (haha Holly..BUBBLES!).
