Special Message To New Townsend Fans

Hello!
Welcome to Townsend’s website. This website can be quite the dilemma if you are coming here for the first time. Actually, we like that because the guys can be quite the dilemma at times. Heck, everything about Townsend is confusing until you get used to it. Anyway, my intent in posting this message is to help you navigate this site and to provide a little information that will point you in the right direction to find the answers to many of the questions that you will have if you become a lasting Townsend fan.

Let me start off by saying that I’m Mr. Dolci. I’m Todd’s dad. Very few of the fans call me Mr. Dolci. Most of them call me either Bob or T Rex. When they want to be formal they call me Mr. T Rex.

Wendy Dolci, the Townsend Webmaster, is my wife and Todd’s evil step mom. Most of the fans refer to her as Wendy or Mrs. T Rex. While I am barely tolerated, most everyone loves Wendy. Wendy and I both spend a lot of time communicating with the fans. As long as we’re involved with the website, our intent is to make it fan friendly, interactive and dynamic - that just means that you are an important part of this site.

We love to post photos sent in by the fans - check out the Photos section. Wendy is even planning on expanding the "Fan Page" on this site. We want to include more articles, poems, short stories, etc. from the fans.

We both try to answer all of the email that we receive from the fans as well as all of the messages that are posted on the board. At times it is impossible for us to answer all of the mail that we receive. We will try but we both have alot going on in our lives (full time jobs - unrelated to Townsend - for example). It would be helpful if you checked out the site in detail before you start asking all of your questions. If you need to ask me something, I can be reached at trex@townsendboys.com

Let me warn you, though!!! It is impossible for the guys to answer all the email that they receive. There are not enough hours in the day. They try to read all the email and respond to as much of it as they can. The same holds true for the message board.

Townsend has lots of outstanding fan clubs. The best thing to do is to check out their websites. They are listed on the Fan Page. Join one or form a new one.

The Guys section of the site provides a little background information on Townsend. It also provides information on each of the guys. If you want information on the Townsend logo, it can also be found in this section. The Events section of the site lists upcoming events as well as a little history. The Insiders section provides lots of information on the guys. It includes interviews with the guys and it will give you a good appreciation for what the guys have gone through during the last year or so. The Insider also includes the All Access Column written by Joy. Joy is a long time loyal Townsend fan that helps Townsend with fan communications. The Insider also has columns written by fans. I recommend that if you’re going to read them that you start with the first one. If you get past the first few you, will have a good idea what to expect.

The Music section of the site has three of the Townsend songs. It also has the lyrics. I must warn you, the songs are being re-recorded so may sound a little different on Townsend's upcoming CD.
