Mary Cherry crashes her car on the way to Glamazon practice. Lily picks her and Brooke up. Sam and Carmen are also in the car. They are listening to some old school rap when they notice a tragic car accident. They all think April Tuna has died. Nichole thinks the lunch lady is her mother. She has Sam do some research on the subject when Sam comes across three emails: one to her, one to Nichole, and one to Harrison's mother. She reads them in order. The one written to her expresses Harrison's true feelings towards her. He admits to being in love with her. Sam is shocked. Nichole's says what a bitch she is. They are dated Dec. 20, 2000. Sam confronts Harrison and he admits to loving her. Sam is freaked out and snapps at him. Nichole vows revenge. Meanwhile, Josh is getting made fun of because he has a mullet style hair cut. Mary Cherry and Ms. Glass call for the day off due to April's death, but Principal Krupps calls in a greif counselor. She makes everyone realize how they should have treated April better. Everyone is at April's funneral. Harrison asks Sam for an answer after the funneral, will she go out with him? Nichole gives her speech, she vowed to personally attack Harrison in it but doesn't. April Tuna walks in and wonders what is going on? Someone had stolen her car and crashed it, Nelly Gustave. In the end, Harrison and Nichole become friends again. Nichole finds out that the lunch lady is her mother. Josh gets a "normal" hair cut. Sam chooses George over Harrison trying to perserve their friendship. However, Harrison is crushed and says he can't even speak to her anymore. Sam looses him and their friendship anyways.
Nichole tries to unite her family. While doing so she realizes that her mother truely loves her. Shaggy Louise turns out to be a fake. Mary Lou Parker was just using Nichole for her money. Sam feels guilty for what she has done to Harrison. Harrison tries to pick a fight with George so, Sam would feel bad for him. He fails. George and Sam's relationship seems to be going well. The guys start a food fight in the school lunch room. Brooke and Carmen decide that they want to experiment with college life. Sam and Lily wanted to go, but Jane caught them trying to sneak out to the frat party. Jane forces them to play board games and make cookies with her and Mike. Carmen gets hit on by a college guy who won't take no for an answer. Josh, George, and Harrison come to the party dressed up like Greeks to crash it. They end up saving Carmen from getting raped by the college boy. All the Kennedy High kids get kicked out of the frat party. Sam, Lily, Brooke, and Carmen realize that high school isn't so bad. Then, Brooke starts another food fight in the lunch room.
Lily starts a gay and lesbian support group after school. Ms. Glass is persuaded to be the advisor of the club. It turns into a support group against prejudice when other students start showing up. Lily and Harrison are the first to go to the meetings. George and Sam go after a visit to the mall where George was called an "Oreo" for dating Sam. Josh gets beat up and called a "Fag". Lily ends up in the hospital for her efforts. Ms. Glass gets recked pretty bad also. The new gay student won't talk about prejudice and writes "Fag" on Lily's locker. Sugar tries to get into a high class resturant and hang out, but they refuse him because of his weight. In the end the club is destroyed and Brooke plus some of her friends try to put some limits on prejudice.
Brooke wakes up in Jaime's apartment. They had fallen asleep watching television together. She calls Sam to tell her to cover for her because she doesn't want her father fliping out. Meanwhile Sam tells Mike and Jane Brooke is at Glamazon practice. They figure out that she is lying and Brooke plus Sam get grounded. Mike punishes the girls without asking Jane first. Jaime thinks he should break up with Brooke when Brooke sneaks out one night to be with him and is caught by her father. Mike McQueen eventually figures out that he was too hard on Brooke and invites Jaime over for dinner. Meanwhile, Nichole is challenged by Ms. Glass to prove she can get power without sex. Nichole becomes friends with April Tuna who is vice president of the class. She tricks Emery into giving her a proun tape of April and plays it infront of Principal Krups. Nichole becomes class president and threatens to cut the Glamazon's plus the Travolta club. April and Nichole create their own Madonna syle cheer leading squad called Bring It. Josh, Harrison, and Lily have a dance off to see who will be president of the Travolta club and Josh wins.
