JoJo Wright is the leading pop radio personality in the entertainment capital of the world, and broadcasts 7-11pm nightly from the top-rated pop music station 102.7 KIIS-FM in Los Angeles. He was the winner of the 2003 Radio Music Awards Top 40 Air Personality of the Year and was nominated as Top 40 Air Personality of the Year by Billboard Magazine in 2001. With an incredibly popular evening radio show, JoJo has a concert named in his honor - "JOJO JAM", an outdoor end of summer event at Knott's Berry Farm created by JoJo and brought to life by KIIS with top acts in the past 4 years such as: O-Town, Eve 6, Howie D. from the Backstreet Boys, Master P, Lil' Romeo, BBMak, Dream and many others.

JoJo recently took his radio wit to a national television audience as a celebrity panelist on NBC’s FAME, the ultimate talent-search competition hosted by 'NSYNC’s Joey Fatone. Throughout the season, E! Entertainment Television, the TV Guide Channel, and Entertainment Weekly among others featured JoJo in its coverage of the show.

The TV Guide Channel interviewed JoJo for its MTV Video Music Awards special. JoJo was also invited to participate in the "E! True Hollywood Story: NSync". In addition, JoJo was on the MTV specials "Launch with Justin Timberlake" and "Becoming: Nelly". He co-hosted ABC's "Disco Ball" and "The Mix"; on the WB Network. He was a presenter at the 2001 Teen Choice Awards on Fox and a backstage reporter at the 2000 and 2001 Radio Music Awards on ABC and the 2003 Radio Music Awards on NBC. JoJo was also a presenter at the 1999 Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Awards and hosted the 2000 and 2001 Teen Magazine Maybelline Great Model Search.

JoJo has been featured in magazines such as Teen Beat, All-Stars Teen Beat, Bop, PopStar!, Blast, In-Touch, Teen Magazine, EntertainmenTeen and Entertainment Weekly. In addition, he wrote a column in Teen magazine which highlighted his interviews with stars such as Jessica Simpson, Kobe Bryant, and Justin Timberlake. And JoJo is a guest "Top Cop" for the Fashion Police segment in US Weekly. The popular teen magazine Blast touts JoJo as "the hottest on-air personality in Los Angeles, hanging with the biggest celebs in the business and entertaining millions in the entertainment capital of the world."

JoJo joined the Backstreet Boys on their "Six-Countries-in-100-Hours" tour to promote the release of their CD "Black and Blue." This L.A. radio DJ has such a following that when he informed his radio fans he "totally dug" Britney Spears' toes, some stores named a toe nail polish after him.

After JoJo broke his arm in a bizarre arm-wrestling accident, his good friend singer/actress Jennifer Love Hewitt wrote and performed a song about him at Wango Tango, a major summer music festival at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles. The popular Star magazine also showcased JoJo’s "Big Break" with photos from the set of FAME, as well as X-rays of his arm.

As host of Michael Jackson’s recent charity event/birthday party at Neverland Ranch, JoJo introduced Michael on stage and presented him with a birthday cake. After bringing Nick and Aaron Carter on stage, the four decided to wear the birthday cake instead of eating it. US Weekly featured what JoJo considers a highlight of his career - having Michael Jackson personally smash cake in his face!

JoJo grew up in Houston, TX and broke into radio at a young age. Before graduating high school, he had already landed two radio gigs. Shortly thereafter, he broke onto the FM dial. After a few stops around the country, JoJo arrived on the Los Angeles pop scene in 1997 as KIIS-FM’s overnight DJ. A jump in overnight ratings quickly moved him to evenings where he has maintained his status as a nightly teen sensation.

No longer just a face for radio, JoJo has had guest starring roles on the NBC Saturday morning sitcom "City Guys" and the Fox Family Channel sitcom "S Club 7" and cameos in several music videos and the film "Long Shot". JoJo has also had starring roles in several independent films. He is represented by the William Morris Agency, and has various television projects in development.
