BOSCO ENTERS DANGEROUS CROSSHAIRS WHEN HE BEFRIENDS TROUBLED SNIPER -- In his ongoing quest to join the police sniper team, Officer Bosco (Jason Wiles) befriends an embittered but wily squad veteran (guest star Gerald McRaney, "Major Dad") who instructs him on the art of distance shooting but when the older cop's inner demons push him over the edge, a helpful Bosco bears the brunt of his mentor's self-destructive tendencies. Meanwhile, Carlos (Anthony Ruivivar) is repulsed when he learns of Taylor's (Amy Carlson) fling with Officer Davis (Coby Bell); the cops search for an armed and PCP-addled thief, and Officer Yokas' (Molly Price) latest scrape prompts her to ponder taking the test for sergeant.
