FIREFIGHTERS RACE CLOCK TO SAVE IMPALED DRIVER AND BABY -- Doherty (Eddie Cibrian) and the firefighters struggle to free an impaled driver (guest star Gene Silvers) who after kidnapping his 18 month old daughter from his mentally addled wife, (guest star Amelia Campbell) crashes his car. As they work against the clock, luck strikes against them when a nearby propane tank is ruptured. Meanwhile, Sully (Skipp Sudduth) is hampered by a massive hangover that might put partner Davis (Coby Bell) at risk, Officer Yokas (Molly Price) convices her teen daughter Emily (guest star Bonnie Dennison) to see a counselor and Doc (Michael Beach) pleads partner Carlos' (Anthony Ruivivar) case before a paramedic review board.
