WILL CARLOS DO THE RIGHT THING? -- A torn Carlos (Anthony Ruivivar) struggles to overcome his prejudice against a nurturing family that wants to adopt his baby girl but he resists because of his own desire to raise her -- and because they're white -- while fellow medics Taylor (Amy Carlson) and Kim (Kim Raver) butt heads with a surly emergency room doctor (guest star Stephen Singer) who questions their every move. Elsewhere: Officers Yokas (Molly Price) and Sullivan (Skipp Sudduth) conspire to take down some low-level Russian criminals while Yokas' angry husband (Chris Bauer) continues to give her the cold shoulder.
