LEGENDARY STARS OF 'HILL STREET BLUES' AND ROY SCHEIDER GUEST-STAR -- Eight months after the World Trade Center disaster, Taylor (Amy Carlson) learns that the body of her father -- a fellow firefighter -- has been recovered from the site, prompting an emotional reunion of her mother (guest star Veronica Hamel, "Hill Street Blues"), uncle (guest star Bruce Weitz, "Hill Street Blues") and her father's best friend (guest star Ed Marinaro, "Hill Street Blues"). Elsewhere, an obsessed Officer Sully (Skipp Sudduth) persists in checking out the true checkered identity of his secretive Ukrainian wife (Savannah Haske) -- which leads him to the doorstep of his bitter enemy, the mobster Chevchenko (guest star Roy Scheider, "All That Jazz"). Meanwhile, Officers Yokas (Molly Price) and Bosco (Jason Wiles) keep an eye on a convicted rapist (guest star Matthew Beisner) of elderly women who was released on a technicality.
