Movie Overview

Based on the novel by A.E.W. Mason, the story takes place in 1898 Sudan. A British officer, Harry Faversham (Heath Ledger), resigns his post just before the battle of Omdurman. His fiancée and three friends (one of whom will be played by Wes Bentley) present him with four white feathers, symbolizing his cowardice. But Faversham is actually planning to go undercover in the hopes of redeeming himself.
