CHAPTERS 5 - 7 |
PREVIOUSLY
Tea: You wouldn't happen to have a spare toothbrush, would you?
Todd: Nope. Just the one I use. If you want I'll go to the bodega and get you one or you could just use mine, if you want.
Tea: Whatever you prefer.
Todd: I don't mind if you use it.
Tea: Okay.
[Todd turns abruptly and leaves the room.]
Chapter Five:
[Tea exits the bathroom and finds Todd sitting on top of his bed. He jumps up when he sees her enter. His shirt is so big on her that Todd can't even see the shorts she's wearing - he hopes she's wearing them.]
Todd (nervously): So, you're tired, right? You want to go right to sleep, right?
Tea: I suppose.
Todd: You can sleep under the covers. I'll stay on top of them.
Tea: That isn't necessary.
Todd: It's okay. I don't mind. I don't really like the feeling of being trapped under the covers anyway.
Tea: It might be warmer...for me...if you slept under the covers. Or you could give me some pants to wear. Or I could just go back to the hotel.
Todd: Why do you keep saying that? If you want to leave then leave. I won't force you to stay.
Tea: I didn't say that I wanted to leave. I just thought that maybe it would be more comfortable for you if I wasn't here.
Todd: I'm never comfortable no matter what, you know that.
Tea: So, what do you want to do?
Todd: I guess I could try it under the covers, at least until you fall asleep.
Tea: Thank you.
Todd: Yeah, well, you know, I'm a nice guy.
Tea: Sometimes you can be.
[Tea gets into the bed from one side as Todd tentatively places his body under the covers on the other side. Slowly they both slide their bodies closer to the middle of the bed until their bodies are touching. Todd awkwardly puts his arms around Tea as she rests her head on his chest. As time passes, Tea feels herself entering that space between being awake and being asleep. As she feels herself falling further into sleep she feels him reposition her on her back. Slowly he removes his arm from underneath her body.]
Tea (sleepily): Don't go.
Todd (softly): Okay.
[Todd rests his arm across Tea's stomach and lays his head down so his forehead is nuzzling the side of her face. They both fall asleep.]
Chapter Six:
Hours later...
[Tea wakes up with a very strange sensation - Todd's hand is resting on her chest. She thinks to herself how typical this is - the only way that Todd can touch her on such an intimate part of her body is when he's asleep and doesn't realize he's doing it. Tea chuckles to herself thinking of the expression on his face when he wakes up and realizes where his hand is positioned.
Tea tries to look around for a clock to find out what time it is but doesn't see one. She looks at the windows and sees that it's still dark outside. She wishes she knew how much time she had before she had to leave to go to work. Actually, she wishes she didn't have to go to work at all but could just stay in bed with Todd all day. She knows that Todd would never allow that, though, and the thought makes her heart feel painful in her chest. She knows this moment will end. Todd will wake up and put an end to it instantly the way he always has anytime they've been too physically, or emotionally, close in the past.
Tea moves slightly to get into a more comfortable position which causes Todd's hand to rub across her breast creating a wonderful physical sensation. Even more amazing, Todd's hand starts to move on its own, massaging her breast. Tea's body freezes. She can't believe that Todd's hand is actually touching her and giving her such pleasure. Tea closes her eyes and enjoys the feelings Todd is causing to emanate through her body. After several minutes she realizes that Todd's head has been slowly sliding down her body toward her other breast. She wonders if he's doing this unconsciously or if he's been awake the whole time.]
Tea (softly): Todd? Are you awake?
[Todd doesn't respond. His hand continues playing delightfully with one breast while his mouth gets closer and closer to her other breast.]
Tea: Todd, if you're awake I need to know.
[Just as Todd's mouth finds Tea's breast and his tongue touches her shirt his eyes suddenly open and look directly into Tea's eyes. The combination of the sensations from Todd's hand, mouth, tongue and knowing he's awake takes Tea's breath away for a moment. She closes her eyes and tries not to pass out. When she opens her eyes again she sees Todd's eyes still staring at her. She reaches out and runs her fingers through his hair. Immediately his hand and his mouth leave her body.]
Chapter Seven:
[Tea berates herself. She knew that he would do this to her. He gives her what she wants for a moment and then yanks it away from her, leaving her hurt and confused. Before Tea can start yelling obscenities in Spanish Todd repositions himself on top of her and starts unbuttoning her shirt. Tea's in shock. She doesn't know if she should continue to allow him to touch her this way knowing that he'll probably leave her unsatisfied, or...
Tea forgets about any other option the second Todd's mouth touches her bare skin as he kisses near the breast he was previously massaging with his hand. His other hand is now doing some incredible things to her other breast as his tongue...Ohhh!...his tongue...'Yes!' - Tea screams in her head.]
Tea (having difficulty speaking): Todd...Todd...don't...ohhh...do...not...stop.
[Tea's reaction excites Todd. He's always wanted to give her pleasure instead of the pain he seems to always cause her. He knows that if he can just stay focused on giving her pleasure then he can keep that part of his brain that always sabotaged his relationship with Tea quiet, at least for a while. He listens to the sounds she's making and feels the pressure of her hands on the back of his head. He does everything he can think of to give her more pleasure, using his fingers, palm, lips, tongue, teeth - anything that will heighten the experience for her. He and Tea look directly into each other's eyes as he feels her body begin to quiver under him sending a surprising wave of pleasure into his own body. As Tea slowly comes down from the one of the greatest highs she's ever experienced Todd rests his head on her chest.]
Tea (pleadingly): Todd, kiss me...please, kiss me.
[Todd crawls up Tea's body and kisses her differently than he's ever kissed her before...more passionately and sensually. As they kiss Tea tries to pull Todd's shirt up his back. She wants to feel his skin against her skin...his body against her body.]
Tea: Todd...
Todd: Tea, don't talk.
[Todd kisses her again his tongue enjoying the taste of her mouth.]
Tea: Todd...
Todd: Tea, if you want this to continue you have to shut up. When you talk you give me time to think and thinking will stop what's happening. Do you want that?
Tea: No.
Todd: Then shut up.
[Todd returns to kissing her.]
Tea: Todd...
Todd: What?!
Tea: Take your shirt off.
[Todd pulls his shirt quickly off his head and returns to kissing Tea as they press their bodies together. They roll over so Tea is on top of Todd. Tea starts kissing down his body, licking and nibbling at his neck and chest.]
Todd: Tea...
Tea: Don't talk.
Todd: My brain is kicking back in.
[Tea looks up at him questioning what she should do.]
Todd: It was okay when we were kissing.
[Tea moves back up his body and presses her lips against his mouth roughly forcing his lips apart. She focuses most of her attention on his mouth but also presses her chest against his and slowly caresses the sides of his body as low as her hands can reach. Todd suddenly pulls his head away from Tea's.]
