Tea: Todd, do you want to continue this? Because, I know I'd like to. I really like what your hand is doing and I would love to do more but if you really don't want to tonight then maybe...

[Tea stops speaking as she feels Todd's fingers move aside her underwear. She clamps her mouth down on his shoulder to keep herself from screaming in ecstasy.]

chapter 151:

[As Todd begins exploring with his finger, Tea turns her head and buries her face in his neck.]

Tea: Oh, Querido.

[As Tea kisses his neck, her hand slides down and begins caressing the front of his pants. Todd's finger becomes more active in its exploration.

After several minutes of caressing each other, Tea seeks out a more comfortable position. With Todd's finger continuing where it's been, Tea turns her body and straddles his legs.]

Todd: Tea, maybe we should stop before this goes too far.

Tea: It hasn't yet for you?

Todd: Uh...

Tea: Do you want to stop?

Todd: We should.

Tea: But do you want to?

Todd: No, but we should.

Tea: You know, we don't have to go to the point of...well...uh...insertion... We could just keep doing what we've been doing. We could keep touching and maybe we could kiss some more.

Todd: You'd be okay with that?

Tea: Absolutely.

Todd: You can't make a lot of noise when...

Tea: I know.

[Tea adjusts herself on his lap to increase her own pleasure. Todd adds another finger to increase it even more.]

Tea: I'll use your body to muffle the sounds of the joy you're giving me. I promise.

Todd: I'm going to regret this.

Tea (as she begins unfastening his pants): Probably. But, I guarantee you'll enjoy it first.

Todd: Oh, yeah?

[Tea's hand reaches into his underwear. His flesh responds to her touch.]

Tea: Yeah.

[They continue on. Each person's hand giving exhilarating pleasure to the other. They kiss passionately, their tongues thrusting in and out of each other's mouths. They each control their desire to groan and moan with pleasure but they can't control the sound of their heavy breathing as they each bring the other to the brink of bliss.]

Tea (whispering in his ear): Querido, I'm almost there.

[Todd suddenly spins her around and places her on the bed on her back. His hands reach under her nightgown and pull her underwear completely off her body.

Tea watches him as he lowers his own pants and underwear, her passion for him growing, ready to explode from her need for him.

As Todd's body comes down toward her and his hand pulls her nightgown up and out of the way, he suddenly stops.]

chapter: 152:

Todd: What am I doing here?

Tea: You're about to make both of us feel incredible. Don't stop now.

[Todd gets off the bed and pulls his pants back up.]

Todd: We weren't supposed to do this. We agreed.

Tea: But if we both want...

Todd: Next time keep your door locked.

Tea: You're blaming me?

[Todd rushes to the door and unlocks it.]

Tea: No. Wait. Get back here.

Todd (turning back toward her): You said you understood.

Tea: I do. But, you can't blame me for this.

Todd: Why not?

Tea: Because, we were both in this moment together and we both wanted the same thing and we both acted on that desire. Nothing bad would happen if you come back over here and finish what we both need to finish.

Todd: I need to get out of here.

Tea: Is this how it will be now? Instead of leaving two minutes after, now you'll be leaving two minutes before?

Todd: It would have been more than two minutes.

Tea: Prove it.

Todd: Why are you making this difficult?

Tea: Because, right now I want to scream at you and I can't. Todd, if you're going to leave me anyway because of this, why not share the pleasure with me first before running away from whatever it is that forces you to leave every time?

[Todd locks the door again and walks back to the bed and sits down.]

Todd (as his hand caresses her bare leg): Is that what this is? You want to get off? Is that it?

[Tea sits up next to him and caresses his arm.]

Tea: Yes, but I also want you to. If you don't, wherever you go you'll probably pick a fight and end up in jail...or worse.

Todd: I thought you didn't want to do this here...in bed?

Tea: I'll make an exception this time.

Todd: I won't stay after.

Tea: I know.

Todd: I won't even be able to stay in the penthouse. I'll have to take off for a while. This won't be like last night. I won't be conking out on the couch a few minutes later.

Tea: Did what I did last night really help you sleep?

Todd: Yeah.

Tea: Then I'll do that for you now.

Todd: What about you? You want...

Tea: I'll deal with it. I want you to relax and be able to sleep. I want you to stay.

Todd: I won't be able to no matter what you do or don't do. As soon as I leave this room, I'll go downstairs and out the door.

Tea: You don't have to leave.

Todd: Yeah, I do. I'll be back for breakfast, though, I promise. I'll even bring breakfast, okay?

Tea: That would be great. Do you want to finish what we started before you go? We don't have to. I'll understand if now isn't the right time.

Todd: How come you didn't understand that a few minutes ago when you started this?

Tea: I did not start this.

Todd: Well, I know I didn't.

Tea: Kiss me good-bye and whatever happens we'll both be responsible for, okay?

Todd: If you insist.

chapter 153:

[Todd and Tea have been sitting on her bed kissing for several minutes. Tea has her hand under his shirt and is caressing his bare back. Todd has one hand under her nightgown in the back and the other is caressing her leg.

Finally, Todd stops kissing her lips and begins kissing near one of her ears. The little talk there is between them is spoken in breathless whispers.]

Todd: Tea?

Tea: Yeah?

Todd: I should go.

Tea: Okay.

[Todd pulls his face away from hers for a moment and looks at her. Instantly, his mouth is on hers again as he kisses her passionately, desperately wanting to be inside her.

A few minutes later, Todd breaks their kiss again.]

Todd: Tea, I'm going to go now.

Tea: Okay.

[Tea's hands move around to the front of his body as she caresses his stomach. Todd's hand that was on her back moves to her chest where he cups one of her breasts in his hand.]

Todd: Tea...

Tea: Okay.

[Todd quickly pulls her nightgown off her body and tosses it on the floor. Tea leans back on the bed. Todd follows her, his mouth quickly finding one of her breasts. As Todd's lips and tongue pleasure her, Tea tries to pull Todd's shirt off his body.

Todd's mouth lets go of her breast as he sits up for a moment and removes his own shirt.]

Todd: Tea, I can't stay.

Tea: I know.

[Tea sits up and places her mouth on his chest, her tongue flicking at each of his nipples before her mouth finds his again and they kiss passionately...desperately.

Todd undoes his pants and leans back on the bed to force them off, keeping his underwear on. Tea follows his movements so their tongues can continue their pleasurable connection.

When Todd has his pants completely off he positions her so her back is on the bed and the front of his body is pressing into her side. His hand caresses her stomach.

Todd: You know this can't happen, right?

Tea: Whatever you say, Todd.

[Todd's hand begins slowly, teasingly, moving lower on her body. Just as his extended finger begins to reach its target, Tea's hand grasps his wrist.]

Tea: Todd...

[Todd rests his hand against her body while she continues to hold his wrist. As Todd speaks he begins kissing her neck and upper chest.]

Todd: Do you want me to?

Tea: Yes, but I want something else more.

Todd: What?

Tea: You. All of you. Right now.

Todd: You're trembling.

Tea: There's a reason for that.

Todd: Are you cold?

Tea: No.

Todd: Scared?

Tea: No.

Todd: Why are you shaking?

Tea: I need you. I can't take anymore anticipation.

Todd: Then let go of my wrist.

Tea: I want more, Todd.

[Tea positions her mouth next to his ear.]

Tea (whispering): I want you inside me...not your finger...I want you. I want you to fill me. I want you to enter me right now.

Todd: Let go of my wrist.

[Tea lets go of her hold on his wrist. His hand moves up her stomach, up her chest and stops on the side of her face. He kisses her. It's a soft, gentle kiss. His way of telling her that he loves her.

As he ends the kiss, he rolls over onto his back and removes his underwear. He positions himself better on the bed and pulls Tea's body toward him.]

Todd: Come here.

[Tea knows what he wants. She can't resist and kisses his flesh once, making him feel an even greater need for her. She straddles his body and guides his flesh as it enters her.]

chapter 154:

[While they make love both Todd and Tea are so excited and turned on by each other that it doesn't take long before they both finish pleasurably.

Tea rests her body against Todd's for several minutes. She knows that he won't be able to stay long. She wishes that he could at least stay until she falls asleep but she knows that probably won't happen. Right now she's just trying to take as much as she can from the current connection of their bodies so it won't hurt as much when he leaves.

Todd caresses Tea's back. He knows he'll have to leave soon. He can feel the need rising. He knows it will hurt her even though he knows that she'll try to understand. He hates that part of it. He can handle his own pain, he's had a lifetime to get used to it, but knowing he's causing Tea pain is unbearable to him. He knows he doesn't have a choose, though.]

Todd: Tea...

[Tea raises her head from his chest and looks at his face.]

Tea: Now?

Todd: Yeah. I'm really sorry, Tea.

Tea: I understand.

Todd: Do you?

Tea (smiling): No, but I'm trying.

[Tea lightly caresses his cheek with her fingertips.]

Tea: Don't worry, Todd. I'll be okay. And, you'll be back for breakfast, right?

Todd: Right. You've got my kid here for collateral so you don't have to worry about me not coming back.

Tea: I'm not worried. I'll just miss you.

Todd: You'll be sleeping the whole time.

Tea: I'll miss you in my sleep.

Todd: Yeah, right.

Tea: I'm serious.

Todd: Tea, look, I know you're trying to keep this conversation thing going so I'll stay longer but I really need to go. I really do.

Tea: Okay. Just kiss me good-bye first.

Todd: Isn't that how we got into this position to begin with?

Tea: Would it be so bad if we stayed in this position all night? Actually, there are a lot of positions we could try tonight. We wouldn't have to sleep and you wouldn't be bored. I guarantee it.

Todd: I'm sure we could find some interesting ways to fill the time up until morning.

[Tea rests her head on his chest again.]

Tea: And, you could fill me up. I like it when you're inside me, Todd. I like the way it feels being connected to you. I don't want you to go.

[Todd's hand moves up her back and into her hair, trying to soothe her.]

Todd: I know. I want to stay but I can't. I just can't. Something's going on inside me right now. I'm trying to fight it so I won't hurt you by leaving but it's too strong right now. I need to get out of here. It has nothing to do with you. It has nothing to do with how I feel about you. Okay, maybe it does but not in a bad way. Maybe it won't always have to be this way. If we keep doing this and we keep trying to push at this thing inside of me then maybe some day it will give up and stop forcing me out the door every time. Some day we'll be here all night...if you're willing to stick around until that happens.

[Tea raises her head again.]

Tea: I'm not going anywhere.

[Todd brings his mouth to hers. While they kiss he rolls them over until Tea is lying on her back. He breaks the kiss and gets off the bed. Tea watches as he silently dresses and leaves the room.]

chapter 155:

[It's not yet dawn when the sound of her phone ringing awakens Viki.]

Viki: Hello?

Todd: Come downstairs.

Viki: Todd?

Todd: Enough of this chit chat. Hurry up.

[Viki looks at her clock in disbelief.]

Viki: Todd, it's four in the morning.

Todd: No, it's two minutes after.

Viki: What's wrong? Why are you calling this early? Where are you?

Todd: I'm downstairs.

Viki: Why are you here?

Todd: You know, if I wanted to be around someone who would ask me question after question, I could have stayed with my lawyer.

Viki: Did something happen with Tea? Is that why you're here? Because, I had the distinct sense that you were avoiding me.

Todd: I was.

Viki: Why did you stop?

Todd: Fine. Forget it.

Viki: Wait, Todd. Don't hang up. I'll be down in a minute.

Todd: Dress warmly.

Viki: Why?

Todd: It's cold out. You don't want to freeze your...hands...off.

Viki: I don't understand. I thought you were downstairs.

Todd: I am. Don't you ever pay attention when I talk?

Viki: Todd, it's too early in the morning for me to handle your word games right now. Tell me exactly where you are and I will come there.

Todd: In my car. In your driveway.

[Without any further conversation, Todd hangs up.

Viki quickly dresses and goes downstairs to meet her brother. As soon as she enters the passenger side of the car and closes the door, Todd speeds off.

Several minutes later, they are speeding through the countryside.]

Viki: Could you please slow down a little. It's dark out here.

Todd: I know these roads better than I know myself. I guess that's not saying much, huh?

Viki: Are you ready to tell me what happened with Tea? I assume this drive we're on isn't because you want to discuss our relationship, correct?

Todd: No. I talk to Tea about that.

Viki: I see. So, let's talk about Tea. How is she?

Todd (unable to hold back a grin): Incredible.

Viki: Then why are you driving through the dark with your sister instead of enjoying some time with your ex-wife?

Todd: We already did that.

Viki: I see. And?

Todd: You want details? Is your love life that nonexistent?

Viki: Shall we stick to the topic and leave me love life out of this, okay?

Todd: So, you want the details of mine but I don't get to know about yours?

Viki: Fine. I will tell you all about my love life...in detail.

Todd: Forget it. I don't want to know anymore. I'm bored talking about you. Let's get back to talking about something interesting...me.

Viki: So, what happened? You and Tea were together again tonight, correct?

Todd: Definitely...amazingly.

Viki: So, she wasn't upset that you spent the night at the cabin with me without calling her and letting her know you wouldn't be home?

Todd: How do you know I didn't call her while you were in the bathroom?

Viki: Was she upset?

Todd: Yeah, sort of...I guess...I don't know. She had sex with me in public so how upset could she have really been?

Viki: Where was this?

Todd: On the docks. She found me there.

Viki: She went looking for you?

Todd: Yeah. That night, after I left you at the cabin, I showed up at my usual nightspot and there she was.

Viki: So, she was there first?

Todd: Yeah, but she was there for me. She didn't have to tell me. I knew she figured out I'd be there and she waited.

Viki: Did she wait there the night before, too?

Todd: I don't know. She didn't say.

Viki: Did you talk?

Todd: While we had sex?

Viki: No. About where you were...what we talked about...about...

Todd (interrupting): No...well, sort of...some of it. She knows I was with you but she doesn't know any of the stuff I told you. Luckily, I got my brain back and didn't blab to anyone else.

Viki: Todd, I'm glad that you trusted me enough to talk to me. Don't you think that maybe it's time that you trusted Tea?

Todd: I trust her. I don't trust myself.

Viki: Why not?

Todd: I don't know...habit.

Viki: Perhaps it's time to break that habit. I'm sure Tea would appreciate being allowed in, too. Do you think you're ready for that?

Todd: That's why we're here.

chapter 156:

[Todd and Viki continue to drive through the countryside in the early morning hours before dawn.]

Viki: Why are we here?

Todd: I needed to get away.

Viki: Why?

Todd: I just did.

Viki: Because you were tempted to talk to Tea?

Todd: No. (pause) I don't know. She messes with my head.

Viki: How does she do that?

Todd: She looks at me.

Viki: That's it? She looks at you?

Todd: Yeah. I really hate that.

Viki: Why is that a bad thing?

Todd: Because, it just is. I can't think straight when I'm around her. She knows it, too.

Viki: Do you feel she takes advantage of that?

Todd: Yes...no...I don't know. Even just thinking about her confuses me. I never should have gotten this involved.

Viki: How involved?

Todd: You know.

Viki: Sex?

Todd: It messes everything up.

Viki: It may feel that way sometimes but it's not true. So, you had sex on the docks and you had to get away from her. This was last night, right? What about tonight?

Todd: Tonight was at the penthouse.

Viki: So, you've had sex twice since you worked things out at the country club and it was okay?

Todd: Better than okay. And, we did a couple of other things in between those two times.

Viki: You've been busy.

Todd: Well, it had been a while since...

Viki: What about now? If being with her last night didn't create a problem for you why couldn't you stay with her tonight?

Todd: I didn't stay with her then, either.

Viki: You left her alone on the docks after you...

Todd: Hey, I walked her to her car.

Viki: Forgive me. At least you were a gentleman. But, you did leave her that night, correct?

Todd: I had to. I did go home, though...later.

Viki: And, you were together again?

Todd: We did some stuff. And, the next morning we did some other stuff.

Viki: Did you spend the night in bed with her?

Todd: She was upstairs. I was on the couch.

Viki: So, you couldn't handle being on the same floor with her but you did manage to stay in the same apartment.

Todd: I had a hard time walking after...uh...never mind about that. She understood.

Viki: Did she understand why you had to leave her tonight?

Todd: Yeah...as much as she can.

Viki: Perhaps if you discussed certain things with her she would understand more.

Todd: She understands enough for now. She knows I'll be back in the morning.

Viki: It's morning right now.

Todd: You know what I mean. She knows I'll be there for breakfast.

Viki: Are you sure about that? Did you at least tell her that?

Todd: Yeah, I told her. Besides, she's got my kid, she knows I won't ditch Starr again...or her.

Viki: Starr is spending the night at the penthouse?

Todd: Yeah.

Viki: Then why aren't you there?

Todd: She's sleeping right now. It doesn't matter if I'm there or not.

Viki: What about Tea? Is she sleeping? Does it matter to her?

Todd: You're worse than Delgado is with the guilt trips.

Viki: Does she use guilt trips on you?

Todd: I told you...she looks at me.

Viki: So, you're inflicting the guilt on yourself.

Todd: I really hate it when you try to read stuff into everything I say and do.

Viki: Why are we here, Todd? What do you want from me?

Todd: I just needed to talk about the stuff with Delgado?

Viki: Why don't you talk about that to Delgado herself?

chapter 157:

Todd: I can't talk to Delgado about this stuff.

Viki: Why not?

Todd: She'll know too much.

Viki: Is that really such a bad thing, Todd? Clearly, you want your relationship to continue and grow, don't you?

Todd: Things are okay the way they are.

Viki: I think if that were true, I would be at home sleeping right now and you would be in your home, in your bed with your...how do you refer to each other? Girlfriend?

Todd: That sounds like we're twelve.

Viki: Lover? Companion? How do you think of her?

Todd (lowering his voice): Wife.

Viki: So, if you truly feel that way why don't you re-marry her?

Todd: I did that once before. It didn't work out.

Viki: Perhaps this time will be different. If you're both willing to work at it.

Todd: Things seem better now without all that legal stuff getting in the way.

Viki: Do you really think that was the reason your previous marriages didn't work out?

Todd: No, but this is going good right now. Why muck it up?

Viki: If things are going well then why are you here with me instead of with your wife?

Todd: You never quit with the questions, do you?

Viki: Isn't that why you came to me? You wanted me to ask you questions and advise you to go back to Tea and continue working at your relationship.

Todd: No, I came to you because I thought maybe you could recommend a decent bakery that I could pick up breakfast at.

Viki: Todd, I know that your relationship with Tea is very important to you. If talking to me helps in anyway then I will try to aid you in whatever manner possible. I do, however, think that you also need to discuss these issues with Tea.

Todd: What if she found out how messed up I really am?

Viki: Are you afraid that she won't be willing to help you through your problems?

Todd: I don't want her to. She doesn't deserve all of this. You know, she's just this person...this decent person...who fell for...

Viki: You.

Todd: Okay, so she's a little stupid.

Viki: I don't think that falling in love with someone is stupid and neither does Tea, and neither do you, although, I'm sure you would hate to admit it.

Todd: What, that it's stupid or that I fell in love?

Viki: Maybe you should go home and tell your wife how you feel about her.

Todd: Nah. I don't want her to get a huge ego.

chapter 158:

[As dawn begins to shine light into her bedroom, Tea awakens suddenly. In the distance she can hear Starr calling for Todd, obviously distressed. Realizing that she's still naked, Tea quickly dresses and rushes into Starr's bedroom.]

Tea: Sweetie, what's the matter?

Starr: Where's daddy? I want daddy.

Tea: Did you have a bad dream? Would you like to talk to me about it for a little while? Maybe it would help.

Starr: Where's daddy?

Tea: He had to go out for just a little while but he'll be back soon.

[Starr rolls over in her bed, facing away from Tea, and buries her head in her pillow...crying.]

Tea: I promise he'll be back very soon.

Starr: He's never coming back.

Tea: Yes, he is. He would never leave you.

Starr: He did before. He doesn't love me anymore.

Tea: Yes, he does. He loves you very much.

Starr: Then why does he keep leaving?

Tea: Oh, sweetie, if he had a choice he wouldn't. He loves you more than anything and he's miserable when you're apart.

[Starr continues crying into her pillow.]

Tea: It's still early. Try to go back to sleep. I bet when you wake up again your father will be back home.

Starr: I'm never sleeping again.

Tea: Did you have a nightmare? Can you tell me about it?

Starr: I want to talk to daddy.

Tea: I know but you could talk to me first and then when your daddy gets home you could talk to him.

Starr: I want daddy.

Tea: Starr...

Starr: I want daddy.

Tea: Okay, I'll see what I can do. I'll go make a few phone calls. I'll be downstairs, okay? Okay, Starr?

[Starr doesn't respond. Tea lightly rubs Starr's back for a moment, hoping to soothe her, before leaving the room.

Downstairs, Tea sits at Todd's desk and opens her address book and looks for Viki's phone number. Even though Todd had been trying to avoid Viki the day before she knows that the only person that he would have willingly spoken to in the mood that he was in would be Viki. She's counting on him being at Viki's because if he isn't then she doesn't know what she'll do since her presence obviously isn't helping Starr at all at the moment.]

chapter 159:

[Soon after Todd dropped her off at her home, Viki is finally back in her nightgown and back in her bed, hoping for at least another hour of sleep before she has to go into the office. A few minutes after closing her eyes, her phone rings. She begrudgingly answers it.]

Viki: Hello?

Tea: Oh, Viki, I'm so glad you're there. Please, tell me that Todd is with you.

Viki: Tea?

Tea: Is he there?

Viki: No, he isn't. What's wrong?

Tea: Starr is spending the weekend here at the penthouse...

Viki: I know. Todd told me. Is something wrong with Starr?

Tea: No...nothing physical anyway. So, you heard from Todd tonight, right?

Viki: He came by earlier and we went for a drive. He dropped me off just a few minutes ago.

Tea: Do you know if he's coming right back here?

Viki: He didn't say. What's wrong?

Tea: Starr woke up agitated. I think she had a nightmare but she won't talk to me about it. She insists on speaking to Todd. I don't know what to do. She's really upset, Viki. And, waking up and Todd not being here...

Viki: Todd did tell me that Starr had been having some nightmares about him leaving her again but I thought she was through that.

Tea: Apparently not. Did he give you any idea where he was going?

Viki: No. He did say that he would be going back to the penthouse to have breakfast with you and Starr.

Tea: But, that could be another hour or two. I'll go back upstairs and see if Starr is calmer but if she isn't and if I can't do anything to help her then I'll have to call Blair. Todd probably will be angry if it causes any problems with Starr spending the night here in the future but I can't just let her continue to be this upset.

Viki: Tea, you do what you need to do to take care of Starr. Todd will understand. I could come over, if you think it would help.

Tea: Viki, that would be great. Maybe it would help calm her. I know my presence doesn't seem to be helping at all this morning.

Viki: I'm certain it does help but what she really needs is for her father to be there to prove that her nightmares about him leaving her again are just that...nightmares.

Tea: Well, if I could make him magically appear, I would. She's really scared, Viki. I feel so horrible for her.

Viki: I know. Todd will be home soon and she'll feel much better as soon as she sees him. I'll be there myself as soon as I can.

Tea: Thank you, Viki.

[Tea ends her conversation with Viki and goes back upstairs.]

Tea: Star, sweetie, are you still awake?

[Starr lifts her head from her pillow and looks at Tea. Her tear stained face breaks Tea's heart.]

Starr: Did you find daddy?

Tea: No, but I did talk to your Aunt Viki. Your daddy was just with her and he told her that he'd be coming back here for breakfast.

[Starr returns her face to her pillow.]

Starr: No, he won't. He's never coming back again. He doesn't love me anymore.

[Tea sits down on the edge of Starr's bed and rubs her back lightly.]

Tea: Yes, he does. I promise you that. He could never stop loving you.

[Tea can tell that she isn't having any luck in reassuring Starr.]

Tea: Would you like to talk to your Aunt Viki on the phone? We could call her right now. Would that help?

Starr: I want my mommy.

Tea: Starr...

Starr: I want my mommy. (becoming hysterical) I want my mommy. I want my mommy.

Tea: Okay, I'll get your mommy. Try to calm down, okay? Your mommy and your daddy will both be here soon.

[Tea goes downstairs and phones Blair, knowing that it could not only jeopardize Todd's visits with Starr but also her own relationship with Todd.]

chapter 160:

[After dropping Viki off at her house, Todd drives around for a while. He knows what time Starr usually wakes up at and times his return to the penthouse so that he'll be there in plenty of time.

Outside the door to the penthouse, Todd fumbles with his key, trying not to drop bags full of bakery items he brought for breakfast.

Inside the penthouse, the sound of his key in the lock directs the attention of the living room occupants toward the door.

As Todd enters, he's surprised to see Viki sitting on the couch. Tea is seated in a chair by the fireplace. They both have solemn expressions on their faces.]

Todd: Is something wrong with Starr? Is she sick?

Tea: No...no, she's not sick.

Todd (to Viki): Why are you here? I just left you a little while ago. Did you come to blab everything to Tea?

Viki: No, of course not.

Todd: Then what the hell is this? I couldn't have screwed up anything so severely in the time since I left you at your house that you needed to show up here to yell at me about it.

[Tea and Viki exchange looks that make Todd extremely nervous.]

Todd: What do you think I did this time? Should I expect another vacation to my favorite jail cell?

[Tea stands up and approaches Todd.]

Tea: No, it's nothing like that. Starr woke up earlier and you weren't here.

Todd: Was she upset? Is that why you called in the reinforcements?

Tea: I had to, Todd. She was really upset and my being here just wasn't enough. In fact, it wasn't any help at all.

Todd: So, you had Viki come over so she could bore Starr back to sleep?

Tea: I called Blair, too.

Todd (raising his voice slightly): Why the hell did you do that? You want to mess up my chances to see my kid?

Tea: Todd...

Todd: When Blair gets here you know she'll try to take her back. I had the whole weekend with her, Delgado. How could you do this to me?

Tea: Blair's already here. She's upstairs with Starr.

[Todd stares at Tea for a moment. He doesn't say what he's thinking. He doesn't have to, she can clearly see the anger in his eyes. Within seconds, he bolts up the stairs, prepared to do damage control to ensure that he doesn't lose any time with his daughter.]
