PREVIOUSLY...

Todd: Come along, dear. We can retire to our room and change out of these dreadful travel clothes and slip into attire more befitting our stature.

[Tea looks at him and smiles, making him feel good, even as he feels completely awkward with such a bold, public display of affection.]

chapter 126:

[Todd keeps his arm wrapped around Tea's waist as they walk through the hotel's luxurious lobby towards the front desk.]

Desk Clerk: Good evening.

Todd: Yeah, right, whatever. The name's Manning, Todd Manning. Hurry it up.

Clerk: Yes, sir, Mr. Manning. We've made all of the arrangements you requested.

Todd: Good.

Clerk: Is there anything else we can do for you this evening?

Todd: Yeah.

[Todd turns and looks toward the bellhop.]

Todd: You, over here!

Bellhop: Sir?

[Todd grabs their laundry bag from the bellhop and plops it down on the counter in front of the desk clerk.]

Todd: You have a laundry service here, right?

Clerk: Of course, sir. I'll have that taken care of right away.

Todd: We'll pick it up tomorrow. We don't want anyone interrupting us tonight.

Clerk: Our staff has already been informed. You will have as much privacy as you desire. Is there anything else, sir?

Todd: Yeah, my wife likes to buy expensive things. She can do that without leaving the building, right?

Clerk: We have several fine boutiques and specialty shops right here in the main building. We also have an athletic shop if you require any purchases before you play golf, tennis, racquetball, go boating...

Todd (interrupting): Okay. We don't need the whole brochure.

[Tea is flabbergasted as she continues to take in their surroundings. She can't believe that Todd would arrange for them to stay at a place like this. This is the kind of place she had hoped in her younger years she would someday be able to afford to stay at. It's somewhat overwhelming to her now to know that they'll be spending the night here. Even more amazing to her is the knowledge that it was in fact a surprise that Todd thought of on his own and wanted to give to her.

When Todd finishes signing in, he turns toward Tea and finds her smiling at him. He cringes slightly, not knowing in this moment why he thought this would be a good idea hours ago.

Todd quickly dismisses the bellhop to their room with their bags as he encourages Tea toward the boutiques with his arm still around her body.

As they near the shops, Tea stops.]

Todd: What's wrong?

Tea: Besides the fact that I don't belong here?

Todd: You belong here.

Tea: No, I don't.

Todd: Well, we're gonna get you some clothes so you look like every other snob here and then you'll feel like you belong here.

Tea: Clothes aren't enough. Money isn't enough.

Todd: You're ticked at me? I thought you'd like this.

Tea: I'm not upset that you brought us here. I think it was a very sweet idea.

Todd: You don't need to insult me.

Tea: I don't belong here, Todd. I'm sure you arranged for us to have a wonderful room. I'm certain it's beautiful, but I'm also certain that I'll spend the night feeling like I don't belong there.

Todd: Where do you think you belong? In all those dumps we've been staying in?

Tea: I belong in the basement apartment.

Todd: Not anymore.

Tea: That's where I'll always belong. I won't fit in here with all of these people. I'm not...

Todd: You're not what? You're not a snob? I like that you're not a snob. I like that you don't care if we stay in some lousy old motel that smells weird. I like that you don't care if I only spend forty bucks on you for the whole night, including the room and dinner. I like that you'd rather be doing stuff with me alone in our room than forcing me to dance in some stuffy ballroom with a bunch of old-time music playing.

Tea: They have ballroom dancing here?

Todd: I like that you wouldn't dare put me through that.

Tea: Don't worry. I would prefer that we're alone when we dance together.

Todd: So, you want to skip this shopping idea and go check out our room?

Tea: Maybe we should buy a few things.

Todd: So, now you want to stay?

Tea: It's just one night, right?

Todd: It could be longer, if you wanted it to be.

Tea: We'll try it for one night and see how we both feel in the morning.

Todd: You go ahead and do the shopping thing. I'm going to go and find out where I can get a beer in this place.

[Tea takes his hand in her own and leads him toward a small store selling men's clothing.]

Tea: Come on. Beer can wait. Right now we have some shopping to do.

Todd: Haven't you tortured me enough on this trip?

Tea: I'll make a deal with you.

Todd: My credit card in exchange for a beer?

Tea: You buy one nice outfit. And, I'll only buy one nice outfit.

Todd: That's it? You're just buying one thing?

Tea: One outfit.

Todd: So, you're planning to get a bunch of accessories and stuff, but you're gonna pretend it fits into our deal?

Tea: I won't buy too much and it won't take too long and then we can go back to our room and spend the rest of the night alone together, if that's what you want.

Todd: Then why are we buying stuff?

Tea: It might be fun to dress up.

Todd: Fun?

Tea: I wouldn't mind just once during this trip putting on an incredible evening gown and knocking your socks off.

Todd: You don't have to buy a stupid dress for that.

Tea: I don't?

Todd: This talking thing is turning ugly again.

Tea: You're very sweet, Todd.

Todd: Okay, I can feel the hives starting.

Tea: Fine. We'll each buy one outfit that isn't fancy but that would allow us to look like we fit in here more than our current clothing does. Something casual yet...

Todd: Snobbishly preppy?

Tea: So, you refuse to get any new clothing?

Todd: You can go wild Tea and get whatever you want. I'm fine the way I am. I don't care if people like the way I look or think I belong here. I don't give a damn about anyone else. I just want you to have a good time.

Tea: Okay. Well, since we'll only be here one day and we'll be spending the rest of the night alone together, I guess I don't really need to buy any new clothing.

Todd: You sure about that?

Tea: I don't plan on wearing very much tonight, anyway. Tomorrow, I'll just wear what I wore the day I left Llanview with you. At least that fits me, unlike your clothes which clearly don't.

[Todd leans closer to Tea and lowers his voice as he speaks again.]

Todd: I like how you look dressed like that.

[Tea also lowers her voice as she responds.]

Tea: You do?

Todd: Yeah.

Tea: Do you want to go to our room and do stuff?

Todd: I thought you were in the middle of fighting with me.

Tea: I no longer remember why.

Todd: It will come to you.

Tea: Oh, yeah, that was why.

Todd: I told you.

Tea: I just wanted you to lie on top of me and hold me. I wasn't planning on going further than you were ready for.

Todd: Maybe I'm not ready for that.

Tea: Are you sure?

Todd: I'm not sure about anything when I'm around you, Delgado. You screw up my head better than anyone else ever has.

Tea: We could go have a drink.

Todd: I thought you didn't want any snobs seeing you dressed like that.

Tea: Your eyes will be the only ones I'll see.

Todd: I don't know if I trust you in public. You're starting to talk sappy again.

Tea: Let's go to our room.

Todd: You're sure you don't want to buy stuff?

Tea: Well, that boutique down the way with the lingerie in the window does interest me.

Todd: Let's go to our room.

[Todd pulls on her hand in his and quickly walks back toward the lobby, toward the elevator.]

chapter 127:

[Minutes later, they enter their new hotel room. Everything in the room...the artwork on the walls, the rugs on the floor, the furniture, the lamps...all look extremely expensive. Some even appear to be antiques.]

Tea: This is incredible, Todd.

Todd: We can go somewhere else.

Tea: I think we'll both survive for one night here. Let's look around.

Todd: It can't get any worse, right?

[Tea descends several stairs and walks into the main sitting area. Todd goes to the side and enters the bedroom.]

Todd: I was wrong.

Tea: Wrong about what?

Todd: It gets worse. It gets much worse.

[Tea quickly follows Todd into the bedroom and finds him standing in front of the biggest bed she has ever seen in her life. Her eyes immediately follow Todd's disgusted gaze to one of the walls to the side of the bed. The entire wall is mirrored from floor to ceiling.]

Todd: How perverted are these people?

[Tea laughs slightly, despite her attempts not to.]

Tea: It's not that bad, Todd. They probably did it to make the room look bigger.

Todd: Or, because they think rich people like to watch while they're getting it on.

Tea: Well, some probably do.

Todd: You're into that?

Tea: If you don't want to see what we're doing while we're doing it, don't look. We'll face the other way. We'll use the other room. This isn't going to stop us from enjoying our evening, Todd.

Todd: That's what you think.

Tea: Let's look at the rest of this place. Does it have a private kitchen?

Todd: I don't think so.

Tea: A hot tub?

Todd (gesturing toward the bathroom): Go look and see.

[Tea disappears into the bathroom as Todd notices their empty luggage against the wall. Tea's laughter distracts him. He follows her into the bathroom. His face immediately twists into a disgusted expression.]

Todd: This is sick. What is it with these people and mirrors? Do they really think that people want to watch themselves while they're going to the bathroom?

Tea: Maybe they thought it would look good when candles are lit around this huge whirlpool bathtub big enough for two people.

[Todd notices the glint in Tea's eyes and sighs heavily. He had wanted to do something nice for her. He knew it might not be easy for himself but he wasn't expecting it to be this bad.]

Tea: We don't have to stay, Todd.

Todd: You want to, don't you?

Tea: Not really.

Todd: You still feel like you don't belong here?

Tea: I don't.

Todd: How many times do I have to tell you that you do?

Tea: I know that I don't.

[Tea walks out of the bathroom. Todd follows her back into the bedroom.]

Todd: If you're looking for our stuff, our bags are empty.

Tea: They must have unpacked for us.

Todd: Well, I didn't ask them to. I don't like strange people touching my underwear.

[Tea walks across the room and opens the doors to a balcony that runs the length of their suite. She leans against the open doorway and stares at the breathtaking view.

Todd knows that he shouldn't say anything. Conversation right now could get too deep and emotional. He takes a few steps toward her and watches her for several moments. Her sadness is evident, as it has been many times during this trip.]

Todd: Tea...

Tea: It's okay, Todd.

Todd: You do belong here.

Tea: There really is only one place that I truly want to belong and I have never belonged there.

[Tea's voice lowers and the pain becomes even more evident.]

Tea: And, I never will.

[Part of Todd's brain tells him to stop talking, they're entering dangerous territory, but Tea's sadness overrides his internal defenses, like it has many times in the recent past.]

Todd: Where?

[Todd steps even closer and leans against the other side of the doorway from where Tea is leaning.]

Todd: Where don't you think you'll ever belong?

Tea: With you.

[Todd watches as the tears in Tea's eyes disappear as her facial expression hardens. He knows exactly what she's doing. He's done it himself every time the emotions became too much. He knows he should be glad since it will be easier for him to hide from his own feelings as long as she's hiding from hers, but he finds that it hurts him to watch Tea shut down emotionally.]

Tea: Are you hungry?

[Tea steps away from the balcony doorway and returns to the sitting room. Todd stands in the doorway for several minutes, wanting to give her time to deal with her emotions and also give himself time to deal with his.

When he finally enters the sitting room, he finds Tea sitting on the sofa, looking at a room service menu.]

Tea: What are you in the mood for?

Todd: You.

Tea: What?

[Tea is stunned. Todd is stunned. Neither can believe that Todd just said what he did and that he meant what they both know he meant.

Tea quickly returns her attention to the menus and brochures in front of her.]

Tea: They don't just have formal dining here. They also have less casual options. We could go downstairs for dinner. We don't have to stay cooped up in here.

[Tea looks up at Todd for a moment. He hasn't moved since he last spoke. His eyes haven't moved either. They're still staring at her with more intensity than she's prepared for.

His eyes follow her as she quickly, and nervously, stands up and walks across the room to a small bar area.]

Tea: Would you like a drink? They have...uh...

[Tea stops speaking as she feels Todd's body behind hers in the small space behind the bar.]

Tea: Todd...

Todd: Why are you doing this?

Tea: I thought you might be thirsty.

Todd: You know how I feel. Why are you pretending that you don't? You know what I want to do but you're acting like you don't. I don't understand you, Delgado.

Tea: I can't keep pretending, Todd.

Todd: Then, stop.

Tea: I want to belong but I don't. I can't allow myself to think that I do. Not anymore.

[Todd's hands touch her waist.]

Todd: You're shaking.

Tea: It must be cold in here.

[Todd presses his body against her back as his arms hold her tight against him. His lips touch her ear as he whispers to her.]

Todd: I want you, Tea.

chapter 128:

Tea: You can't keep doing this.

Todd: Doing what?

Tea: Pulling me in and then pushing me away.

Todd: But, I enjoy it. You know that.

Tea: Well, I don't enjoy it.

Todd: Don't you?

[Todd takes her earlobe into his mouth and lightly sucks on it.]

Tea: Todd...

Todd: What?

Tea: Just stop it.

Todd: Isn't this what you want?

[Tea doesn't respond. Todd can feel her leaning her back against his chest. He knows what she wants and he's determined that he will give it to her. He knows that he can't eliminate her sadness but he does want to make her feel loved.

His hands reach for the buttons on the front of the shirt she's wearing. He starts in the middle of the shirt and quickly unfastens several buttons until he reaches the top of the shirt. He then steps slightly away from her and pulls the shirt from her shoulders, allowing the still half-buttoned oversized shirt to fall down her body.

As his hands work to unfasten her bra, he looks at her bare back. Up to this point, he has focused most of his attention, during this trip, on the front of her body, for obvious reasons. Now, he allows himself to study her back. After removing her bra, he places his hands in her hair at the back of her head. A moment later, his lips gently touch the back of her neck.

Tea reacts with a moan, spurring him on. He continues to kiss her neck for several minutes.

While his lips find their way back to her ear, his arms encircle her and pull her tightly against his own body. He flicks his tongue against the sensitive area behind her ear several times before speaking again.]

Todd: Tell me that you want me, Tea. Tell me.

Tea: I want you. I want you, Todd.

[Todd's mouth stops its activity and his arms lessen their hold on her. Tea knows that her admission changed something for him. She turns her body and faces him. His arms pull away from her. He stares at her...her eyes...her mouth...her breasts...

His intense gaze returns to her eyes as his hands go to the bottom of his shirt. Their gaze is broken as he pulls his shirt over his head but is quickly established again as he drops his shirt on the floor.

Not allowing himself anymore time to talk himself out of this moment, he quickly brings his body to hers and pulls her chest tightly against his.]

Todd: Is this what you wanted, Tea?

[Tea places her arms around his body and holds on to him, not believing that he is now allowing this contact after he made such an effort to avoid it earlier in the day.]

Tea: Yes, Todd, this is what I wanted.

Todd: You owe me now.

Tea (laughing): I do. I owe you so much.

[Tea makes several statements to Todd in Spanish...words of love that feel safer to express in the language of her early youth.

Todd allows it. He's relieved, actually. He knows what she's probably saying to him and he finds it easier to take those words in a language he doesn't fully understand.

For many minutes they stand behind the bar, embracing each other, holding each other tighter than they ever have before. Tea's eyes are closed, her head resting against his bare shoulder. Todd keeps his eyes open, trying to focus on objects in front of his gaze. He knows that Tea wants, and needs, this moment. He knows it should stay non-sexual. Her body is tightly against his, though. Her breasts are pressed against his chest. Her nipples...

Todd quickly pulls away from Tea.]

Todd: Beer!

[Todd quickly grabs a bottle of beer off of a shelf behind the bar, opens it and starts gulping it down.]

Tea: Maybe there are cold ones in the fridge.

[Todd finishes off the bottle and places it loudly onto the top of the bar.]

Todd: Nope. That was fine.

Tea: Well, now that you've had your beer...

Todd: I'll have another.

[Todd reaches for another bottle but Tea quickly grabs it out of his hand.]

Todd: Hey!

Tea: Todd...

Todd: Give me back my beer.

Tea: You don't need to get drunk.

Todd: A couple of beers isn't going to get me drunk. You should know that by now.

Tea: I know what you're like when you drink.

[Todd picks his shirt up from the floor and walks away from the bar.]

Tea: Todd...

Todd: Just drop it.

Tea: No.

Todd: I won't drink anymore tonight, okay? You don't have to worry.

Tea: I'm not worried.

Todd: Sure you are.

Tea: I'm not, Todd. I promise I'm not. That's not what I meant. I was referring to how withdrawn you can become when you drink.

Todd: You should be glad I withdrew.

Tea: Why?

[Todd sits down on one of the chairs in the sitting area.]

Todd: I'm paying thousands of dollars a night for this place, you'd think they could afford comfortable chairs.

Tea: They were probably thinking about style more than comfort. Besides, I think for some people this would be comfortable. Having all of these elegant furnishings surrounding them probably makes some people feel very comfortable.

[Tea takes a seat in a chair directly opposite of where Todd is sitting. He notices that she isn't trying to cover her chest. She's allowing him to continue viewing her breasts. He's surprised. He expected her to hide herself from him. But, she isn't. Her arms are on either side of the chair. Her body is leaning back in the chair. Her chest is fully visible to his interested gaze. He's startled out of his thoughts when she suddenly sits up on the edge of the chair.]

Tea: I'm with you, though, I'd rather have a chair that's comfortable to sit in than one that just looks nice. Maybe, if we ever settle down somewhere, we could get one of those big recliners. You know, the kind that your body sinks into. The kind you could fall asleep in. No one could fall asleep in this kind of chair. I want a chair that we could cuddle together on.

Todd: Todd Manning does not cuddle.

Tea: Yes, he does. With me, he has, he does, he will.

[Todd continues to openly stares at Tea's chest. She recognizes where his gaze has been for the last several minutes and enjoys that knowledge.]

Tea: I don't think we would be very comfortable in here.

Todd: Huh?

Tea: When we're enjoying ourselves, I don't think the furniture in here would be comfortable for our needs.

Todd: They've got that thing over there.

[While maintaining eye contact with her breasts, Todd gestures toward a small love seat that matches the chairs.]

Tea: You think that would be more comfortable than these chairs?

Todd: Only one way to find out.

[Tea stands up and walks toward the love seat. Todd's eyes follow her but his body stays where it is.

Tea steps toward him and reaches our her hand.]

Tea: Let's try it out together.

[Todd, enjoying the close-up view of her breasts, doesn't move.]

Todd: I'm good where I am.

Tea: I think you'll be even better over there with me.

[Todd looks up at her eyes for a moment before standing up. His hand tightly holds hers as they walk toward the love seat.]

chapter 129:

[Todd and Tea sit down together on the love seat. Their bodies are immediately touching due to the small amount of space the love seat allows.

For a moment they both are awkward as they try to negotiate their arms around each other in a way that allows them both to be comfortable.

Todd leans back against the back of the love seat and tries to bring Tea with him but the position is too uncomfortable for both of them. He then tries to lean her against the arm of the love seat but her uncomfortable groan puts an end to that option.]

Todd: Apparently snobs don't do this kind of thing in the living room.

Tea: We could get on the floor.

Todd: I don't think so.

Tea: We've done it on the floor before.

Todd: That was different.

Tea: There is the bedroom.

Todd: I don't know.

Tea: The balcony? The bathtub? On top of the bar?

Todd: Actually, that would probably be more comfortable than doing it on this thing.

[Tea stands up and tries to pull him off the love seat.]

Tea: Come on.

Todd: I was kidding, Tea.

Tea: I'm not. I don't want to stop yet.

Todd: We can't do this on the bar. You deserve better than the floor. People would see us on the balcony.

Tea: So, bed or bathtub?

[Todd doesn't answer. He takes her hand in his and leads her into the bedroom. He growls as he looks at the mirrored wall again.

Tea steps over to the bed. Todd follows her, still holding onto her hand. Tea pulls away the blankets from the bed, keeping one sheet on top. She untucks the sheet on one side and reaches over towards the pillows and repositions them at the side of the bed.]

Todd: This is stupid.

Tea: It's easier than trying to cover the entire wall. It's faster, too.

Todd: We could do something else. We could go irritate some snobs downstairs. We could do that walking thing you like. We could get out of this place for a while. We could go into town. They must have a movie theater...a bowling alley...something.

[Tea continues preparing the bed so they can make out together without the mirrored wall getting in the way. When she finishes, Tea lets go of Todd's hand, pulls off her shoes and climbs onto the large bed, crawling under the sheet. She looks up at Todd who is still standing to the side of the bed, hovering over her, behind where her head is resting.]

Tea: Join me.

Todd: I want to.

Tea: Do what you want to, Todd. Allow yourself this.

Todd: What is this?

Tea: Whatever you want it to be.

[Todd leans down and kisses her cheek for a brief moment before kissing her lips. They kiss for several minutes before Todd pulls away, standing up again.]

Todd: What do you want, Tea?

Tea: I want you to hold me. I want you to touch me. I want you to kiss me.

[Todd places his hands on either side of her face and lightly touches her skin. Slowly his fingers move down her skin and begin caressing her neck. Tea closes her eyes, enjoying the way he touches her.

It amazes her, as it has in the past, how much his touch reveals to her. His touch tells her that he adores her. It tells her that he treasures her. It tells her that he wants her. It tells her that her pleasure matters to him. He doesn't just grab at her body. He doesn't just do what turns him on, unconcerned about what appeals to her. She may not have the opportunity to reach a full orgasm during their intimate sessions but she has rarely been left completely unsatisfied.

Tea's thoughts are interrupted as she feels Todd raise the sheet covering her body. She looks up at his face as he looks at her breasts under the raised sheet. Tea reaches her hands up and places them on his arms, caressing him. She wants him to touch more of her. She wants to touch more of him.]

Tea: Todd...

[Todd lets the sheet fall onto her chest again as he leans down and places his face against hers.]

Todd: Don't talk, Tea...except to say no.

Tea: I have no desire to say that.

Todd: You're sure?

Tea: I want you, Todd.

[Tea closes her eyes. She knows that her words may make him disappear. She keeps her eyes closed as she feels him pull away from her. She hears two thuds as Todd's shoes hit the floor. She then feels him climb onto the bed next to her and join her under the sheet.

Tea is afraid to want this too much, too need it too much. Todd watches her face, knowing what she's thinking and feeling. He won't allow himself to pull away too early this time. He won't hurt her by ending it this soon. She wants more. He wants more. They're doing more.

Todd brings his face against hers as his hand goes under the sheet and pulls her body tight against his.]

Todd (whispering): Open your eyes, Tea.

[Tea opens her eyes and looks at him. His hand under the sheet slowly moves up her body until it finds one of her breasts. Tea moans and closes her eyes again. For several minutes Todd's hand caresses her under the sheet while he kisses her cheek, chin and neck.

When Todd stops, Tea opens her eyes and looks at him, prepared to stop if he needs to. Todd raises his head and leans on his elbow as he looks down at her face. His hand that was caressing her body moves up and caresses her lips.]

Todd: Do you still want me to...

Tea (anxiously interrupting): Kiss me? Yes!

Todd (smiling): Actually, I was thinking about before. You said that you wanted me to...

Tea: What?

Todd: You wanted me to be on top of you. Do you still want that?

[Tea pauses for a moment. She knows that he's serious. She knows that if she agrees to it, he'll do it. He'll actually place his body on top of her. He'll press his weight against her. She wants that experience with him. She wants to feel his body against hers like that. She's scared, though, of triggering something inside him that will make what they're doing stop, that will cause him to leave.]

Tea: Would...

Todd: What?

Tea: I don't want to do anything too soon.

Todd: How many years has it been?

Tea: You know what I mean. I don't want...

[Todd stops her talking with a kiss.]

Todd: You shouldn't worry so much, Tea. That's my job.

Tea: We could stop now and I'd be okay with that. I don't want to end up spending the night without you because of this. I don't want to do anything that would make you leave.

Todd: I promise I won't leave.

Tea: Todd...

Todd: Stop worrying so much, Delgado.

Tea: I can't help it. I don't want you to leave me.

Todd: Tonight, I promise, I won't leave you.

[Todd kisses her again. For several minutes they both escape into their kissing, trying to keep all of the internal battles from invading this moment.

When Todd pulls away, Tea tries to bring his lips back to hers but he doesn't allow it. He looks intently into her eyes.]

Todd: Do you want this, Tea?

Tea: Yes.

Todd: You understand, right?

Tea: There are boundaries...limits.

Todd: Sometimes...

Tea: I want to forget them, too. But, we need them right now. We'll still be going further than we have before.

[Todd stares at her. She knows that he's worried about going too far, about losing control too much. She places her hand on the back of his head and pulls him toward her. They kiss passionately as Tea turns her body in his direction. She caresses his stomach and chest for more than a minute. When she moves her hand to his back, his arm pulls her closer to him, pressing their chests firmly together.

For several more minutes, they continue to kiss while they each caress the other person's back. They both know from the moans they've been exchanging, the way their bodies have been moving against each other, the wild activity of their tongues, that they both are highly aroused. They both know this is a dangerous situation for them. They both want to continue anyway.

Without speaking, they communicate with their bodies that they're both ready to move further. As Tea rolls onto her back, Todd follows her, pressing his weight down on top of her. They stop kissing and exchange an intense gaze.]

chapter 130:

[As Todd's body settles on top of Tea's, pressing her into the mattress with his weight, they each watch the other person's facial expression carefully.

When Tea closes her eyes and smiles, enjoying the pleasure she feels, Todd's body noticeably relaxes. He lowers his head and rests it against Tea's on the pillow. Tea's hands caress his back lightly, expressing her bliss through her gentle touch.

For several minutes, they lie together, enjoying their physical closeness. Each person can feel their physical desire for the other increasing but they both try to hold it back, to just enjoy the moment emotionally without chancing going too far sexually. Neither of them is successful for very long.

Tea unintentionally sets off their passion by wrapping her legs around Todd's. She was just looking for a more comfortable position for herself but she's certainly not disappointed when Todd starts to kiss near her ear.

Todd interprets Tea wrapping her legs around him as an invitation to become more sexual with her. Her moans as his mouth and tongue explore near her ear convince him even more that she wants more in this moment than just to be held.

As Todd moves his kisses closer to her mouth, Tea turns her head to speed up his progress. They kiss passionately for several minutes as they both enjoy having their bodies pressed together.

When Todd tries to end their kissing, Tea doesn't allow it. She raises her head towards his, while also pressing down on the back of his head, not wanting this to end yet.

Todd allows for several more minutes of kissing before he again is the one who chooses to stop. This time Tea allows him to pull away. Her legs unwrap from his as she prepares for him to leave the bed and probably avoid her, or at least any discussion of what they've been doing.

She's taken by surprise when he doesn't leave the bed. She's even more surprised when he doesn't leave her body either.

Todd kisses her chin...her neck...her shoulders...

He makes slight grunting noises as he slowly kisses down her body. When his lips touch the flesh between her breasts, Tea arches her body slightly, anticipating where she hopes his lips are heading.

Todd doesn't disappoint her. Tea watches him as his kisses move toward her right breast. He kisses all around her breast...above...below...to the side. As his lips move closer to the center of her breast, his tongue comes out and circles around her nipple, without touching it. Tea moans, wanting him to stop teasing her, but enjoying every second of the tease. Todd thinks he knows what she wants but he looks up at her face for confirmation.]

Todd: Sure?

[Tea's response is more enthusiastic, and much louder, than she anticipated.]

Tea: Yes!

[Todd smiles. Tea smiles, too, and laughs softly. She's more nervous than she can ever recall. She's also more turned on and more in love than she's ever been before.

With his eyes still locked onto hers, Todd extends his tongue and lightly flicks it at her nipple. Tea's body jumps. Seeing her turned on, turns him on even more. He looks back at her breast and kisses her nipple several times. He alternates between kissing and swirling his tongue around her nipple for several minutes. He then moves his mouth over and does the same with her other breast.

Tea is completely lost in the sensual feelings her body is enjoying and is again taken by surprise when Todd removes his attention from her breasts and moves further down her body.

Tea watches him as he kisses down her stomach, surprised that Todd would venture there given the current uncertainty about whether she's pregnant or not. Todd looks up at her and sees her expression. He knows what she's thinking.]

Todd: The first time I was expecting a kid...

Tea: Starr.

Todd: No, before her. Didn't I tell you about that?

Tea: No. When? With whom?

Todd: Blair. She was pregnant when we got married. Well, actually, she wasn't. She told me she was when she wasn't but then later she was. The kid didn't make it.

Tea: I'm sorry, Todd.

Todd: We can talk about it sometime, I suppose. Not right now, okay?

Tea: Okay.

Todd: I was thinking about something I read back then. I remember reading that early on the kid is the size of a grain of rice.

Tea: That's small.

Todd: Yeah, so I figure if you are, it's just a grain of rice right now. Maybe it's not even that big yet. When you start getting big I probably won't be able to do this but as long as it's just a grain of rice...

Tea: Will you still be with me when I'm big? I mean, if I am...

Todd: I don't know. Do you want to talk about that right now? Or, do you want to keep going?

Tea: I want to go as far as we can.

[Todd quickly moves back up her body. Talking and allowing his brain to think about what they're doing, about his past, about her past, has taken some of the sexual energy out of the situation for him. He kisses her, exploring her mouth with his tongue to sexually energize himself again.

This time when Todd moves down her body, he spends a few more minutes at her breasts, moves back up for more kissing and then quickly moves down her body and kisses her lower stomach.

Tea has a difficult time keeping her breathing steady as she feels his lips so low on her body. She laughs with surprise and delight when she feels his tongue trying to move under the jeans she's wearing.

Todd soon stops what he's doing and looks up at her.]

to be continued...
