~*~Behind The Scenes~*~

Mary-Kate shook David's arm off as soon as the camera stopped rolling. She got up and walked outside the studio.

David glanced after her curiously then shrugged it off.

"Hey" Will whispered walking up behind Mary-Kate.

She spun around "Hey" She said quietly.

"Admiring the view?" He asked.

Mary-Kate giggled "No" She said. There was nothing to see but studio buildings.

"Why not?" He played stupid "So what's bothering you?" He suddenly turned serious.

Mary-Kate went quite "Nothing" She said unbelievebly.

"Something to do with David?"

Mary-Kate shrugged "I'm sorry. I just really don't want to talk about it."

Will tried not to feel hurt "Ok, then" he forced a smile then went back into the studio.

"Mum! We're home" Ashley called as she and Mary-Kate walked into their house "Finally" She said to Mary-Kate. "I thought today would never finish!"

Mary-Kate nodded in agreement "Well we can relax tonight at least"

"Oh, girls there you are" There mother walked into the room. She smiled "How was your day?"

Ashley sighed "Tiring"

Their mother frowned.

Ashley noticed "Uh-oh. What'd you do?"

She looked uncomfortable "Well, I kind of told Mrs. Artfield you two could baby sit for her kids tonight"

Ashley stared in shock "What?" She eventually managed to squeak.

"You usually love those kids"

"Don't worry" Mary-Kate said to Ashley "They can be scary but we can handle them"

"Yeah I guess" Ashley said sadly "I'll just relax tomorrow" She said with a sigh.

(special thanks to Brynn, Levi and Samara for inspiring this scene ;-))

"No!" Ashley called firmly "Luke do not touch that!"

Luke glanced at her, finger mere centimeters from the computer keyboard. What was it with kids and buttons? Some kind of fatal attraction.

"Do not touch it" Ashley said sternly.

Luke stuck his lip out and jumped on the spin chair. He soon forgot all about the computer, totally distracted by the spinning chair. Usually Ashley wouldn't let him, but today she was too tired to care.

Sarah toddled into the room and stuck her arms out, translation: 'Pick me up!'

Ashley sighed and picked up the little girl. Little she might be, light she is not!

"Bryan!" She heard Mary-Kate call "You put those scissors down right this second!"

Ashley flopped down on the sofa, the 3 year old still in her arms.

"My hair!" Mary-Kate screamed in outrage.

Bryan soon ran into the room grinning. He had a pair of scissors in one hand and a small lock of Mary-Kate's hair in the other. He danced around the room happily.

Mary-Kate soon walked into the room, clutching a small hand held mirror "Thanks God it doesn't show" She said with relief putting the mirror down on the computer table and moving over towards Bryan who now looked scared.

Sarah was happily playing with Ashley's necklace, so Ashley took a second to rest and close her eyes. They were soon opened when she heard the crashing sound of breaking glass.

Luke had got a hold of Mary-Kate's mirror, it was now in pieces on the floor.

"Oh Luke" Ashley sighed. She put Sarah down on the sofa. Detached herself from Sarah's hand (3 times. Sarah didn't like being put down) then made her way into the other room to get a shovel to pick up the glass with.

"How much sugar do you think they've had?" Mary-Kate asked her.

"I can't even begin to imagine" Ashley said with a sigh as she swept the glass onto the shovel.

"Owch!" She cried when a sharp piece of glass cut her finger. She sighed yet again and glanced at the clock. Only one more hour to go. Then she could get some rest.

"They're gone!" Ashley said leaning against the front door and listening to the car drove away.

She glanced at the stairs "All I gotta do is get up them. Then I can go to sleep" She started her journey "Night Mary-Kate!"

"Night" Mary-Kate called from where she was watching tv.
