The nervous system let's you know if something is hot,cold,sweet,bitter,rough,or smooth.It controls your movements.Your nervous system is made up of the brain,spinal cord,and billions of other nerves.The nervous system recieves information from your environment and from inside your body.The system interprets this information and causes the body to respond to it. Your brain is made up of neurons,muscles,tissues,and nervous cells.The brain weighs 3 ibs. and the brain communicates with your body through the nerves. The nervous system is a collection of organs that gather and interpret information about the body's internal and external environment.Nerves are axon bundles of blood vessels and tissues.They help you have feelings and control them, nerves pass along messages through the spine and mind.
