~Chapter Three~
Three: Girl it's plain to see you're the only one for me
Nick nervously drove to Kelly's house to pick her up. He looked up and saw a large white house. "20 Spring Ave. This is it." He got out of the car, walked up the steps, and rang the bell. A tall woman with blonde hair and hazel eyes anwsered the door. She smiled warmly and let him in. "You must be Nick. I'm May Whitman, Kelly's mom. Kelly get down here!"She appeared at the top of the stairs and Nick's jaw dropped.
She was wearing a a blue mini skirt, a white tank top, and sandals. Her blonde hair was in a messy bun and her hazel eyes sparkled. "Hi Nick." she smiled and walked over to him. "Hi Kelly. We better get going. It was nice to meet you Mrs. Whitman." May Whitman smiled at Nick. "It was nice meeting you too, Nick. Kelly, don't stay out to late and no drinking and..." "MOM! I'll be ok!" Nick took her hand and they headed to a dance club.
Nick and Kelly walked into the club, where they saw AJ flirting with a pretty brunette and Howie dancing with his girlfriend Lauren. Kevin, Kristin, Brian, and Leighanne were sitting at a table talking. Brian saw Kelly & Nick and walked over with Leighanne. "Kelly, this is my wife Leighanne. Leighanne, this is Kelly Whitman, the newest singer for Jive." Leighanne smiled and shook her hand. "It's nice to meet you, Kelly." Kevin introduced Kristin to Kelly and they all went their seperate ways. The DJ started to play 'No One Else Comes Close' and Nick smiled at Kelly. "C'mon, lets dance. He took her hand and led her out onto the dance floor. He held her close and they slowly danced, lost in the music together...
