Velma is the only cartoon character kwown that can speak every language in the world. She was the brains of the gang and helped put together the clues to solve the mystery. Despite her intelligence, she always seemed to lose her glasses on every show. Velma was sometimes paired with Shaggy and Scooby which sometimes proved to be very comical. Without Velma, none of the mysteries would have been solved in that small 30 minute time gap that most networks require.
