L.A.Confidential is one of those films that jumps out and grabs you by the throat. This is a character driven

movie that sucks you in and doesn't let you go.

Although I hate to admit it, Russell Crowe really owns this movie. Bud White is one of the most engaging forces

I have ever seen whip across the screen. He is just so intense!

And the slickness of Kevin Spacey's portrayal of Jack Vincennes, L.A.'s top cop compliments Crowe's dark

and brooding White perfectly.

I warned you on the main movie page that there were major spoilers, and here is a big one:

This movie contains the best death scene to ever be captured on film, and it is performed by Kevin

Spacey. This movie is worth seeing just for the opportunity to witness that thirty seconds as

Jack Vincennes dies.
