News and lowdown The MTV Movie Awards The MTV Movie Awards will be held in june. It will be shown on MTV. Haley Joel Osment has being nominated for 2 awards, breakthrough performance in The Sixth Sense and best pair in The Sixth Sense with Bruce Willis. Also 7-year-olds Cole and Dylan Sprouse are also nominated for Big Daddy in best pair with Adam Sandler. It's very hard for young artists to win because only few are recognised. Kirsten Dunst was a winner in 1995 for Interview With The Vampire. For UK fans If you are a UK fan of young artists then here's wassup on the TV screens in the UK. The Olsen twins had their movie Passport to paris premiered on Nickelodeon on May 1st. It probably will be shown again. Meanwhile catch them on Two Of A Kind, weekdays at 4:30 pm. Amanda Bynes won best TV actress for All That and The Amanda Show. Big Daddy won best movie and Britney Spears won best female singer. The boring bit is that every year there are the same nominees and winners. David Arquette, Rosie O'donnell, 98 degrees, Mandy Moore and LFO all made appearances. Young artists performances 1999-2000 Here are some of the most memorible performances by young artists in the year 1999-2000. Haley Joel Osment must be mentioned for his Oscar nominee in The Sixth Sense. He's also being nominated and earned honors at the SAG, Golden Globes, Floridan Online and YAA awards. Kimberley J Brown made a cool performance in the beachy film Tumbleweeds, she won the Star of tomorrow award and also the YAA. Cole and Dylan Sprouse in Big Daddy, they are only 7-year-old and they managed to play the leading part real well and they should've well won over Jake Lloyd in the YAA. Also those in hit movies must be mentioned. Thora Birch in American Beauty, Eli Marienthal was great in The Iron Giant even though the film looks as boring as ever.
