| Videotape chain notes: There are multiple VHS systems. NTSC is used in the Americas and Japan, SECAM in France, and PAL in most of Western Europe and Australia. Please check your VCR to be sure that you have the correct video system for the tape you are requesting. Some of the chains have been copied/converted several times, which has decreased the quality. They're probably still a good bet, if a bit frustrating. Better than nothing! | |

VCDs and SVCDS notes: To view a VCD, you need either a DVD player with the option to play
DVD OR a computer with a DVD ROM and DVD software (eg. PowerDVD). If you view it with a DVD player, your TV must be in a format which is
compatible with the VCD - either PAL or NTSC. Some TVs support both. Please e-mail Denzylle with your contact details and, in order for her to ensure that you don't get something you can't view, she also needs to know (i) if you will watch it by DVD or by computer, (ii) if by TV, which format your TV supports - PAL or NTSC, (iii) if by computer, whether you want a VCD or a (better quality) SVCD. |
