I chose the BIS program because like the many other students I couldn’t really decide upon one particular major. The BIS program catered perfectly to my needs. I knew I wanted a good business background, but I didn’t want that to be my only area of expertise. I always had a fascination with big businesses and their relations to society with and through the mass media. We live in a society that gets a majority of our information through the mass media, and in an era where technology is changing by the day. A major that combined business and mass communication fit me perfectly.
