(Vash and Wolfwood laughing over having no water. ^-^)

Summary: Since the sandsteamer is broken, the passengers must all take a bus to the city. M&M are completely broke, so they whined until Vash agreed to pay for their bus fare. As the bus is traveling along the empty desert, Vash spots a figure in the distance. He orders the bus driver to pull over, and the guy goes to investigate. The figure is none other then Nicholas D.Wolfwood, a chain-smoking, sometimes fowl-mouthed priest, who isn't afraid to kill.

Wolfwood takes a near M&M on the bus, and gladly drinks all of Vash's water. (M&M gave it to him.) Wolfwood explains that he was riding his motorcycle when it broke down about a 100 iles from where he was when they found him. (Yes, he actually walked a 100 iles with his heavy Cross Punisher.) Millie accidently mentions Vash's name and Wolfwood gets excited.

The bus stops for a few minutes so the passengers can strech and the driver can count Wolfwood's fair. He doesn't have enough, but the driver gives him a discount anyway. Wolfwood thanks the guy and plops his portable confessional, (Which is basically a tiny church that he places over peoples heads.), and tells him it's on the house. The driver declines, and Vash begins asking Wolfwood a few questions about his job. Wolfwood explains that he works for a Church/Orphanage. It constantly needs money to operate, so thats what he's doing. Just then Vash and Wolfwood spot two little girls begging their Mother for food. Wolfwood immedately gets up and offers them his own. As he's walking back, Wolfwood comments on Vash's smile. Somehow he's able to correctly guess at his past, and then tries to sucker Vash into using his portable confessional. (Which he has to pay for.)

Before Vash can cough up some money, people start screaming that one of the passengers is hurt. Apprently he was shot in the arm by some sort of robot thingy. Millie blows it away with her stungun, and everyone gets back onto the bus so it can speed away. The Mother of the two girls, (Remember? The ones Wolfwood gave food earlier.) starts screaming that one of her daughter's is missing. She barely finishes her sentence before Wolfwood and Vash are jumping out the bus windows. In his haste, Wolfwood forgot his Cross Punisher, so Vash lends him a knife.

As Vash is lying in the sand moaning over the wounds B.D.N. gave him one episode ago, Wolfwood attacks a robot. His knife easily breaks on the top of it. Vash shoots it in the nick of time of course, and the two begin searching for the girl. They manage to free the girl, but sink quickly in a pit of quicksand. They land in some sort of ancient ship that produces the robots. While hiding from the robots, the two plan to find the main control panel and shut the place down. Vash hands Wolfwood his gun and tells him to cover him. All is going good until Wolfwood runs out of bullets. One of the robots knocks him down, and he closes his eyes waiting to die.

Seconds pass and of course, no death blow. Wolfwood slowly sits up and sees Vash's left arm smoking. (Hmmm.. wonder wut happened.) Vash calmly walks into the control room and shuts the place down. A few minutes later, Mille breaks through the ceiling with her stungun and rescues the two.

Later on the bus, Wolfwood talks to Vash for awhile and then gets up and falls alsleep on Millie. (Meryl is forced to sleep near Vash.) The next morning they arrive in the city, Wolfwood wishes them all well, and leaves...

Best Moment: When Wolfwood drinks all of Vash's water and kindly asks for more. ^-^

Worst Moment: When Vash and Wolfwood get sucked into the pit of quicksand and the little girl says: "What an embrassing way to go." WTF!? They just gave their lives up for you, at least be a little upset!!

Rating: (Out of 3 stars)

Finally, we get to see Wolfwood. He's such an awesome character. Not to mention this episode is so funny/great compared to the last somewhat disappointing two...
