(Vash realizes his gun has no bullets.)
Cut to a scene of two woman entering a different bar. One has long brown hair, and the other short blueish-black hair. With the eyes of every guy in the bar on them, they stroll up to the bartender and order tea and a sundae. The one with the blue-black hair introduces herself as Meryl Stryfe, and the long brown-haired woman is her friend Millie Thompson. Both girls are gathering information on "Vash the Stampede", for the insurance company they work for. The bartender tells them that Vash is an enormous man with a large metal weapon, shorts legs, and a mohawk. The girls leave and go in search of such a man....
Cut back to the desert where one of the gang members is searching for the man from the bar. (I think we all know by now that this man is Vash the Stampede.) Vash suddenly springs up from under the sand and grabs the guy by the ankle. Smacking him in the head before he can yell to his buddies. Vash spits out the straw he used to suck in air under the sand, and greets the guy he just knocked out. Immedately Vash grabs the guys gun and checks for bullets. Theres a brief flashback that explains to you what happened when he first drew his gun. You see Vash pointing his gun at the gang and pulling on the trigger. The gun clicks harmlessly several times and pops open to reveal no bullets. Vash lets out a loud, (And funny.), cry and runs off as dozens of bullets come flying at his head. Flash back to Vash standing over the unconcious man. After easily taking out two more gang members, Descrates kicks one of the gunman into Vash, pinning him to the ground. Vash is tied up and about to be hauled off when Meryl and Mille show up. Thinking Descartes is actually Vash, (Becuz of the description the bartender gave them.), they offer him donuts as a peace offering.
Descrates is about to say something when a shot rings out. Everyone looks up to see a tall blonde man with a mustache and a gun that sorta looks like a crossbow. He introduces himself as "Loose Ruth", and he also thinks Descrates is Vash. Meryl and Millie explain the description of Vash they were given, and Descrates says that he was told that Vash was a tall blonde man wearing a red trenchcoat with a big handgun. He quickly realizes that Loose Ruth matches that description perfectly. (The inside of his trenchcoat is red.) The two start fighting, while Meryl, Millie, and the real Vash escape. As they're riding away, Meryl realizes her donuts are missing and looks to her side to see Vash running next to her stuffing them in his face. Somehow they have a conversation and she explains that Vash the Stampede has been in over 300 incidents, all of which her insurance company has had to pay for. Her and Millie were sent to find Vash and basically make him stop destroying stuff. ^-^
Still thinking Descrates is Vash, Meryl stops running and claims she has to go back. Her and Millie give Vash $$10 dollars to warn the towns people up ahead, and go back. Vash stares at the money, and the scene flashes back to Meryl and Millie who have now been tied up by Descrates and Loose Ruth. (The two of them realized one another wasn't Vash, and are now working together.) Descrates' looks like he's going to tear Meryl's clothes off when Vash throws something through the air and cuts both women free. Loose Ruth and Descrates immedately start shooting, but of course Vash easily dodges. Trapped up high on a ledge, Vash cheerfully tells Descrates that he doesn't approve of suicide, and will happily take death by his boomerang. Stupid Descrates hurls his boomerang at Vash, who simply jumps over it, lands on Descrates, and jams his boomerang-throwing thingy. Severally injuring Descrates. Loose Ruth, who was hiding behind a large chunk of rock and getting ready to throw explosives at Vash, is hit by the boomerang. His bombs still go off, causing a rock avalanche that crushes the town below. (The one where Vash already told everyone to leave.) Somehow nobody, not even Descrates or Loose Ruth, was killed. But Meryl and Millie's insurance company was forced to pay all the damages....
Rating: (Out of 4 stars) A great first episode, but compared to the other ones on the DVD, its not fantastic. It has it's moments, but its nowhere near as funny as the other 3 episodes following.
