Collecting Cookbooks and Recipes

Over the years I have discovered that I am a cookbook and recipe collector. This was nothing I set out to do, it was an unscripted movement upon my part. Before I knew it, I had tons of cookbooks and recipes! When I remarried, I inherited a ton more! Once I realized that I was a collector, I then began to make more deliberate choices when I purchased a cookbook or sought out recipes.

Now, I'm not what you would call a great cook, BUT I can follow a recipe AND alter a recipe to suit my tastes and needs!

This website will be a small collection of my favorite recipes that were handed down to me from my mother; mother-in-law number 2; my husband, Dale, and from various family members and friends. Some of these recipes are variations of ones found in magazines, packaged foods, and, of course... cookbooks.
