| Thor |

Thor is another of my main V's. This is a Jackson Y2KV from 2000.
Essentially these are like Jackson's take on the traditional Gibson V. It's mahogany and has the same bridge, though it's strung through the body. The neck is the same as a King V though, which is cool for me, because i'm not a fan of the Gibson neck. Also has 24 frets.
The Y2KV comes stock with Duncan pickups...a JB and a Distortion. The volume knobs have been reversed though, like my other V's. I have the bridge pickup's volume in the place where the normal neck volume is. My reason? I generally only use the neck pickups for solos. So, most of the time I am playing in the bridge position for all the rhythms, and that most of our songs. I don't have any songs where i solo at the end of the tune, so it's pretty much guaranteed I am on the bridge pickup at the end of a song. When the song is over, i can just move down and shut off the volume quicker there. The other knob is kinda farther away, so I find it awkward to get there quickly. The knob closest to the neck is right where my hand falls since i am normally palm muting anyway, so it's easy for me to just slam the knob to zero right away...
