This guitar is one of my main ones for my band's shows. Ogre is a really heavy guitar, both in weight and sound. The Jackson Custom Shop made me this guitar out of mahogany, so it weighs about what a Les Paul does. It's loosely based on the Dave Mustaine King V models, but this one only has 22 frets. I usually prefer guitars with 24, but this was a case of wanting a certain sound. On a 24-fret King V, the pickup in the neck position is closer to the bridge. I wanted a V with a bluesier tone in the neck, so this was made for me with that in mind. It's worked...this one is my fave V for the neck sound.

The Bogner amp in the picture is no longer around. I had a chance to try some of the Mesa/Boogie stuff, and it just killed this amp. So, I sold it and got my first Dual Rectifier head and cabinet.
