Brickfields Horse Country

Beginner Class pet training starts at 7.30pm.

You will learn how to get your dog to walk nicely on a lead, to recall your dog, to sit for 30 seconds, to lie down for 30 seconds and a fun retrieve.

You will need your dog on a collar with an identity tag and a nice soft lead, poo bags to clean up after your dog, toys for retrieve and tidbits ie. cheese, sausage, small pieces of soft food that your dog can eat quickly.

The dog MUST be six months old at least to start training at this venue.

Also available is a competition obedience class for those people who would like to take obedience a little further.

Top Class begins at 7.30pm

You will learn heel work with left and right turns, recall with a sit in front and a finish back to heel, retrieve with a sit in front and a finish back to heel, sendaway, sit stay for one minute, down stay for two minutes, distant control for sit, down and stand, and also a few other tricks.

Shanklin Dog Training at Gatten and Lake School

The Club is run on a Monday evening from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Membership is £5 per year, usually paid annually in January.

Classes are £1.50 per night, however the first night is free.

Your trainers are Karen, Gina, Pauline, Trish and Moira.

Classes are tailored to suit all ages and abilities of dogs.

Puppy socialising starts after the puppies have had their second injection. This class starts at 6.30pm

Beginner Class starts at 7.00pm for dogs over 6 months of age.
