Darkness envelopes her; night's shroud cloaks her,
and only the faint glimmering of those whirling faceted eyes betray her presence.
A spy who haunts the darkness,
an obfuscated shadow that slips through the air unseen,
even the beating of her wings makes no more sound than the faintest breath.
Oversized wings are flexible and long, cloak-like,
and spindly legs end in dangerous, daggered talons.
Her voice is soft and hoarse, when she sounds at all
--that she leaves to others, while she watches from the darkness.
She wears an harper-blue band with 'Nip' blazoned in tiny white lettering around her left leg.
Nip notices you looking at her.
She silently returns your gaze.
