I think Ruby-Red took this pic...June 29, 2002. It was taken at the Unholy Grave show out in Shiva Studios in Santa Ana, CA right after U.G. played.. Brutal show!! I liked it way better than the show the next day at the Smell. I went with Mo, Ruby, Wendy, and Bobby, and we meet up with Victor (Gored Face), Kris (GF) and Able (LoveShack Winotes). There was probably about 100 if not less people at this show. Nice to see a few familiar faces like the guitarist from Abstain, Oscar Progeria, Katz NOYFB/Hated Principles... and a few people who I've seen at some "Smell" shows. Killer line up it was!!!!...Phobia, Catheter, and Unholy Grave...what else do you need? Total grind show extravazanga!!...Phobia's double bass pedal grinds were nice and crisp, and they were tight as hell! Catheter were damn good as well...the various vocals make their music sound 10 times more powerful...The Headpiece Haraldo uses was funny, but understandable... it is definitely much easier to get around on the drums without restricting your head to a certain spot. I don't think I'll ever buy one though. Oh yeah, they did a Sodom cover, and Takaho ran up to the mic and helped out a little... Here, we all got a taste of what was to come.. Takaho sounded like a MONSTER!! truely an awesome vocalist! Unholy Grave then went up and they ripped like no there! Hit after hit! Great fucken show!!! I'll put up a few live shots from this show soon!!
