Another Day of Great Infamy.....

Rather than show pictures of how terrorists used passenger airplanes to destroy buildings, people, and the airplanes being used, I think most people right now need to see what is really being missed.  The World Trade Center was one of the nicest, friendliest places on the face of the earth.  Being the tallest building in Lower Manhattan, it seemed to be protecting New York City.  Now we feel really vulnerable!

Below are some pictures of the World Trade Center in all of its grandeur.  Enjoy them and weep.

My love goes to the fire fighters, law enforcement officers, and volunteers from NYC and elsewhere who have the perseverance to clear the area and hopefully find more survivors.  I love my home town of Riverside, yes, but I sure wish it had the Big Apple's spirit.  New York is the greatest city in the world!

I dare not put these pictures on my Things Which No Longer Exist Here Anymore page because I believe they will try to rebuild the towers.  If they don't then the terrorists won!

Terrorism springs out of two things: Jealousy and Fear.  If after being terrorized, we succumb to these two feelings, then the terrorists won.   Life is tough and the tough ones are the ones who live it.

Again, my love and prayers go to the fine people of New York City.
