Split Decision: Chapters 6-8
Chapter 6

"Ah! I can't believe Yoo Seung Jun is gonna meet us!" I exclaimed nervously in the car.

"Hey, he wanted to meet you." MinWoo laughed, trying to keep his eyes on the road.

"Really???"

"Ne, after I told him all about you." he gave me a really sexy smile.

I blushed slightly. MinWoo was the sweetest guy ever...

MinWoo led me backstage through throngs of people. We finally got to Yoo Seung Jun's room, and knocked.

"Ne, MinWoo?" a voice came from inside.

"Ne, can we come in?"

"Of course." A smiling angel answered the door (Yoo Seung Jun, duh!) I almost fainted when I saw him checking me out. "So this is your yu jah?"

"Ne." MinWoo tenderly wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You don't have to worry. I won't take her away from you..." Yoo Seung Jun laughed. He sighed as a group of hair/makeup crew came bursting into the room. "Don't you people ever knock?" he asked them, agitated.

"Well, we should prolly get going. We'll catch ya later, ne?" MinWoo started to leave with his arms still wrapped around my waist.

"Bye!" I called back over MinWoo's shoulder.

"She speaks!" Yoo Seung Jun yelled out in playful astonishment. "Wow, smart girl!"

MinWoo hugged me close as we squished through the hectic crowd in the hall. We went outside and went to one side of the stage.

"Do you mind if we just stay here for the whole concert?" MinWoo grimaced as he looked at the screaming fans at the foot of the stage.

"Sure, this is fine." I smiled up at him. "It's way better here anyways."

We watched Yoo Seung Jun perform, and it was great. All of a sudden between songs, he made an announcement.

"This song goes out to someone really special. We were best friends in school, and we still are. This song goes out to Lee MinWoo and his girlfriend KoSam who are both here tonight." Yoo Seung Jun smiled at us from the stage. MinWoo's mouth was hanging wide open with shock, and I was turning an extremely dark shade of red. Yoo Seung Jun began to sing Soh Jung Han Sarang.

MinWoo leaned over my shoulder and asked me to dance. He wrapped his arms around my waist as I put mine around his neck. I slowly followed him, intoxicated by the smell of his cologne. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder. Time seemed to stop, and we just seemed o float above the ground. The song ended all too soon, and we could hear the booming applause from the fans. I sadly moved away, but MinWoo pulled me close.

"Sarang hae yo." he softly whispered in my ear.

"Sarang hae." I replied, kissing him gently. Our lips lingered there for a second, and I took in the sweet taste of him. We suddenly pulled back though, when a throng of fans who had gotten backstage passes ran up to MinWoo asking for his autograph. MinWoo gave me a pathetic smile and tried to brush the eager girls off. He quickly jotted down a few notes on their Yoo Seung Jun CDs.

"Mi an hae yo." he mouthed.

"Chon man." I laughed, as one of the girls tugged on his sleeve telling him she had pictures of him posted all over her house.

Chapter 7

"Aigo, I'm sooo nervous!" I exclaimed looking in the small mirror. We were all dressed up, waiting for the wedding to start. Mako and Shina paced around the room nervously in their beautiful wedding gowns.

"YOU'RE NERVOUS?!" Mako and Shina glared at me. "We're the ones getting married."

"Well, then we can all be nervous together!" I tried to cheer them up.

"Um... yaaaaaa...." When they said this, I smiled stupidly and tried to play it off.

"Aaaahhh!!! Beautiful women!!!" Jin poked his head in the room.

"Jinnie oppa!" I exclaimed. "You're not supposed to be in here!" I ran towards him and pushed him out the door. We both almost ended up on the floor in the hallway. I heard a *click* and knew that Mako and Shina had locked themselves in the room.

"Well, I guess it's just you and me baby." Jin wrapped his arm around me.

"Jin, have you been getting into DongWan's sake?" I asked, laughing.

"Well, not today." Jin grinned. The night before, HyeSung and DongWan had a humongous bachelor party. MinWoo said that Jin had gotten a little too drunk. I heard he started to dance around to Michael Jackson's "Beat It" in his underwear with bottles of sake in both hands. The guys had to put him in a cold shower to calm him down.

"I bet you drank ALL of Wannie's sake, didn't you?"

"Ne. So, you look really beautiful" he said changing the subject.

"Yeah, right. I'm a wreck, and it's not even my wedding!"

Jin looked at me with a glint in his eye and started to lick his lips. "You look fine to me."

I punched him playfully in the ribs. We always joked around like that.

"You better watch out, or I'll sick MinWoo on you." I threatened jokingly.

"Oh, shit, I wouldn't want that." Jin shrunk to the floor with mock fear. He grabbed my arm and pulled me down with him. "KoSam, have I ever told you I want to make love to you?" I tried my best to stifle a laugh.

"Ahem." someone cleared their throat behind us.

"Annyoung MinWoo." Jin said, embarrassed. I began to laugh loudly. "I was just showing KoSam this little spot on the floor."

"Jin you're such a babo yah." MinWoo smirked and pulled us up. "Trying to mack on my yu jah?"

"Anie MinWoo yah. We were just joking around." I laughed. "You're the only one for me." I kissed him gently on his ear.

"Ne, you're the only one for me too." Jin said, cutely walking up to MinWoo and grabbing his hand. "So when can I pick you up tonight?"

"Babo yah." MinWoo and I both said at the same time. We all laughed and waited for the wedding to begin.

*~*~*

I silently sniffled as I heard my dearest friends exchange vows. Mako and Shina were both happily crying, while HyeSung and DongWan were grinning from ear to ear.

"Wow, now that's true love." I heard Jin say to my left.

"Ne." I said dreamily. I snuck a look at MinWoo. He was sitting on my left, wringing his hands nervously. We all watched "the kiss" and stood up and applauded loudly while the four lovers whispered "sarang hae" to their new spouses. It was such a beautiful wedding. There were flowers, ribbons, and romantic colors everywhere, and the atmosphere was just so happy. I was really glad for all of them.

Everyone got together and took literally millions of pictures. Mako, HyeSung, Shina, and DongWan were smiling broadly the whole time. We all headed outside for the ceremony. It was a beautiful June day, and there couldn't have been better weather.
There was wine, music, and dancing everywhere. Then, everyone sat down inside a very large gazebo to hear speeches. First, the couples said a lot about how thankful they were to everyone, and that they cared a lot about all of us. Then Eric said something, then Andy, and Jin, and lastly MinWoo. MinWoo's speech was really beautiful, and it brought a small tear to my eye.

"... and I would like to sum up this long speech with a special request. I realized that this is the perfect time to do something I've been waiting to do for awhile." He briefly caught my gaze, then looked at the two couples. Mako nodded encouragingly while Shina smiled mischieviously.

"I would like to ask a very special person that happens to be here today a question." MinWoo walked over to my chair. "Come with me honey."

I looked at him with a puzzled expression. What was he doing? We walked back up to the stand where he had been speaking before. People were whispering all around. I saw Jin grinning from ear to ear. He gave MinWoo a thumbs-up sign.

"KoSam," MinWoo got on one knee. The crowd quieted down instantly. "Will you marry me and make me the happiest man alive?" I heard a few people gasp out loud. My ears began to ring and my knees grew weak. I couldn't believe he was asking me to marry him. It had to be a dream! But I realized it was real when I looked into his pleading eyes.

"Yes, yes, I will!" I said, starting to cry. A cheer rose up from the crowd. Everyone clapped as MinWoo led me back to our seats.

"Sarang hae yo MinWoo yah." I said through my tears.

"Sarang hae. I love you so much." he looked at me lovingly with his large, innocent eyes. He kissed me tenderly and held me close with his strong, secure arms.

"Hey MinWoo!" Jin said walking up to us. "I thought you and me had something going tonight?"

"Babo yah." I playfully pushed him away and kissed MinWoo again.

Chapter 8

"Another Shinhwa article?!?" ChiNam gasped.

"Ne. Last month's was such a big hit, and you two did a great job on it. A lot of requests were sent in for another." our boss explained.

"Well, what types of things would we write about?" I asked.

"This article is going to be more personal. Find out some good, private things about them."

"Ne." ChiNam and I said together. It wouldn't be too hard since I was friends with all of them. We decided to meet up with the members the next day after a few phone calls.

*~*~*

ChiNam and I decided to go out for luch, since we had a really long break that day. We stopped at a cute little sushi bar near our office building.

"Man, I can't believe we have to do ANOTHER article on them." ChiNam complained stuffing his mouth with spider rolls (Yeah Mako!).

"Well, since the readers liked it so much, it's not surprising." I nibbled on my sushi.

"Ne, I guess. I just wish people wouldn't like them so much."

"What do you mean?" I laughed.

"Well, I mean, they're probably just a bunch of rich snobs that think they're so great because they're famous."

"Anie, they aren't like that. They're really nice people." I defended.

"Okay, whatever you say. That's just my opinion." he continued stuffing sushi into his mouth.

"Can you keep your opinion to yourself then?" I snapped. "They're my friends, and I don't like it when people stereotype them like that."

"Mi an hae." ChiNam said a little unconvincingly. "I told you though, it's just my opinion."

"I know you're entitled to your own opinion, but could you please keep it to yourself? Mi an hae, but it makes me feel bad too."

"Okay." We ate in silence for awhile.

"So-" we both said at the same time. We stared at each other and cracked up. (I think there was something in those spider rolls...)

*~*~*

"Annyoung!" Everyone said. ChiNam and I met with Shinhwa for the interview in a small photo studio. We were going to get some group photos of them for the article.

"Well, we should interview everyone together this time." I said to ChiNam.

"Why don't we just do it like last time and split it up?"

"Because it's not the same as last time." I explained.

"Okay, whatever. Let's just get this over with." I jabbed him playfully in the ribs. Out of the corner of my eye I saw MinWoo watching us carefully. I decided to quit playing around and start the interview. ChiNam and I alternated asking questions about the members' personal lives. When we got to family, I was in for a little surprise.

"MinWoo, could you please tell us about your family life?" I asked curiously. MinWoo had never told me anything about his family. I was dying to know more about my fiancee's history...

"Well, I don't really want to talk about it." He looked away. Everyone began to pester him about it, except for Jin. he sat silently, as if expecting something to happen. ChiNam also was very quiet, and was busy fumbling with some papers.

"Come on and tell us." Andy poked him playfully in the side.

"Okay okay. I was raised by my mother. I never really knew my father, since he left us when I was eight." MinWoo briefly stated.

"He did not leave you!" ChiNam suddenly rose out of his seat. "Quit talking all that bullshit!" He glared at MinWoo.

"Shut up. I don't have to take this crap from you." MinWoo stood up, facing him. Jin ran and held MinWoo back, while Andy grabbed ChiNam.

"What the hell is going on here?" I yelled, shocked. "What are you guys doing?"

"It's none of your business." MinWoo barked.

"That's not the way to treat your fiancee MinWoo! You can't just tell her nothing!" ChiNam yelled. "I'm leaving. See you later KoSam." he slammed the door behind him.

"MinWoo..." I pleaded. I couldn't figure out what all this was about.

"Leave me alone KoSam. This isn't any of your concern." MinWoo pushed me away angrily.

"Fine!" I yelled. "I figured I'd at least have the right to know about your family and your past, but I guess not. I guess since I don't have that right, I don't have the right to own this either." I yanked off the diamond ring and threw it at him. Everyone gasped, and MinWoo gave me a painful look.

I stormed outside hoping to cool off a little, but it didn't work. I looked up and saw ChiNam's car still in the parking lot. He was sitting in the driver's seat motioning for me to come over. I ran up to the car and got in.

"Where to?" he asked, with a hint of anger still in his voice.

"Anywhere but here." We drove off in silence. There seemed to be some kind of understanding between us, and we didn't have to say anything to each other. ChiNam drove over to my apartment, but I didn't get out.

"ChiNam, mi an hae." I said.

"What? Why are you sorry?" he looked at me with a puzzled expression.

"I should've believed you, about what you said about MinWoo."

He didn't reply, so I got out of the car. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Ne, see ya." I watched him back out of the driveway, then I walked towards my door. Suddenly, there was a flash of light and a loud honking. When I turned back around, I was struck with shock and panic. Another car was about to slam into ChiNam's car.

I screamed. I saw ChiNam's puzzled expression change into one of panic. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion. ChiNam tried to stop, but he was already too far out into the road. I heard the squealing of tires and smelled the burning rubber. The other car came speeding towards him, and struck him with a loud crash.

"Oppa!" I cried out with horror.
