Chapter 21: The Reunion
*at breakfast*
Sean and Shina's breakfast went silently for the past 30 minutes, Shina picking at her food and Sean just watching.
"You know I love you right?" Sean asked abruptly. Shina dropped her fork and looked up.
"Wha?"
"You heard me. I love you Shina Kim. Like you were my own sister."
"Oppa, I'm confused, what's this gotta do with anything?"
"Do you love me Shina?"
"Yes! Oppa of course I love you, nothin could change that. You've been there for me through everything and I don't know what I'd do without you."
"If that's the case why wouldn't you tell me who Dong Wan is?"
"......." Shina stared at her plate, afraid to look Sean in the eye.
"You know I almost beat his ass over you this morning." Shina abruptly looked up, her head shaking in denial.
"That's impossible..."
"Why? Cuz he's not here?"
"Exactly oppa."
"Wrong."
"Huh?"
"What you saw this morning, that wasn't a dream. Dong Wan is here. Him, all of ShinHwa, and Mako too."
"You're kidding me!" Shina shook her her head, refusing to believe the facts.
"Come on, let's go," Sean said standing up. "We're gonna get everything settled." Shina recluctantly nodded and stood up placing money on the table before leaving.
*at the theme park*
"You two quit fighting!" Mako yelled at the top of her lungs. They'd been rolling around on the dry ground beating the hell out of each other in public for the past ten minutes and Mako wasn't about to get in the middle of it. She looked and saw Jin with some girl on his arm and Andy running towards the center of the crowd.
"Oppa deuls help out here!" Mako yelled in tears. Jin and Andy ran in there, Andy grabbing Hye Sung and Jin grabbing Min Woo.
"Why'd you do it? Why'd you fuckin kiss my girl?!" Min Woo yelled struggling to break free from Jin.
"Cuz I couldn't resist!" Hye Sung yelled back with a smirk. "And besides, I think she enjoyed it, otherwise she wouldn't have kissed me back!" Min Woo broke away from Jin and started attacking Hye Sung again. Jin pulled him back again. This time Eric and Tae Hyung showed up wondering what all the commotion was about.
"What the hell is wrong with you two?" Eric yelled at both of them. Mako ran off to the main gate still in tears. By this time the crowd slowly went away and the guys walked back to the main gate where Mako and Dong Wan already were.
"Well, I think it's time we get home," Tae Hyung mumbled, obviously very agitated as he walked to the car. Everyone else somberly followed.
*at home*
Shina sat on the couch watching TV, her head resting lazily on Sean's shoulder.
"So you're gonna straighten everything out right?" Sean asked stroking her hair softly.
"Yeah oppa, I'll fix everything," Shina replied.
"Good," Sean replied kissing her forehead. The front door was jarred open and eight unhappy people walked through the door.
"What happened to y'all? Y'all look like shit," Sean said looking at them. Shina quickly got up and ran towards Mako dragging her back to the couch.
"Daijobu desu ka?" (Are you alright?) Shina asked.
"Daijobu...daijobu...." Mako replied looking down. (I'm fine.. I'm fine..)
"No you're not... what happened?" Mako looked up, tears still falling. She then told Shina everything that happened at the theme park. Shina gave Mako a tight hug.
"Do you know who you wanna be with?" Shina asked looking at her intently.
"No... I really don't..."
"Shina get in here!" Sean yelled from the living room.
"We'll continue this lata ok?" Mako nodded as Shina walked into the living room.
"Sit down.. we're gonna get this settled." Sean said motioning her to sit by him. Shina obidently sat down and as soon as she looked up she looked into the eyes that she wasn't able to escape the past seven months.
"Now..." Sean started getting up, "you two are not gonna move from this area until everything is cleared up. Now I'm goin upstairs to settle this fight out. Kids these days.." Sean smirked and walked upstairs.
Uncomfortable silence.....
"Why'd you hurt me so much?" Dong Wan asked quietly, his gaze never leaving Shina's tear-stricken face.
"I-I-I didn't mean to... I couldn't face you... You deserve someone better than me..." Shina hastily wiped her tears looking away as Dong Wan approached her. He gently picked herup off the couch so that she was now standing. He embraced her tightly.
"You don't know how much I missed you... how much i just missed holding you like this...i I love you so much Shina yah," Dong Wan whispered.
"I love you too oppa," Shina whispered, tears falling from her face staining Dong Wan's shirt. Dong Wan just smiled and continued to hold Shina.
Chapter 22: The Hurt
*8:00PM*
Sean and Tae Hyung have been going from room to room trying to have a conclusion to this messy love triangle, but neither would budge. At dinner, it was silent, exculding the scraping of utensils against their plates. Mako was upstairs in her room, Shina and Dong Wan were on the couch watching TV, Hye Sung and Andy were in their room, and Eric and Jin were playing relentlessly on Tae Hyung's DDR while Tae Hyung laughed. Sean looked around the house, bored as could be until he saw Min Woo, still sitting at the table scraping his fork against his empty plate.
"Come on Min Woo," Sean said taking the dishes and putting them in the sink. "We're goin out." Min Woo looked up numbly.
"Where?"
"Out, come on. You look like you could use a drink." Min Woo got up and both went out. They soon arrived at this club and Sean ushered him in.
"Hey Mia get us a couple drinks would ya?" Sean askd yelling at the nearby bartender. He nodded his head and mixed some drinks.
"Why'd you bring me here hyung?" Min Woo asked drinking the alcohol down quickly.
"Well for one," Sean said, pausing to take a sip, "you look like shit and you needed to get out the house before you and Hye Sung go at it."
"Don't even mention his name in my presence," Min Woo spat standing up. "I'm goin out to dance." Sean nodded and Min Woo went off to the dancefloor quickly. Sean just laughed and drank another beer.

*at home*
"You know I shoud really talk to Mako...." Shina said out of the blue. Dong Wan turned to look at her, admiring all of her delicate facial features.
"I need you too," Dong Wan pouted. Shina laughed and got up only to be pulled back down. "Just another hour..."
"Eung... (ok)," Shina said smiling, resting her head on Dong Wan's chest again.
*upstairs*
Mako sat on her bed writing profusely in her journal. She was so confused over the whole theme park thing and she didn't know what to think. So many emotions ran through her when Hye Sung kissed her that she couldn't ignore. She felt something that she didn't even feel with Min Woo and now her heart was torn. She stopped writing and went into the bathroom to relax.
*at the club*
Sean looked on as Min Woo was now chatting with the girl he's been dancing with for the past 20 minutes. She was short and had brown curly hair.
'She looks so much like Mako,' Sean thought frowning. He went out to the dancefloor and grabbed Min Woo.
"Let's go, we gotta bounce," Sean said eyeing the girl. Min Woo shook his head shrugging Sean off.
"Hyung I ain't ready to go."
"Get your ass up we're going!" The curly haired girl got up and latched onto Min Woo's arm.
"It's ok Min Woo," she purred softly, "just get into my car and we'll follow him." Min Woo nodded and Sean just left.
"Ok Kimmy, let's go," Min Woo said walking outside with her. Sean had just left the parking lot when Min Woo got into Kimmy's red corvette. She quickly started the car and followd Sean.
"So," Kimmy said attempting to break the ice, "how long are you gonna be here Min Woo?"
"A month." His reply was sharp and blunt, showing his obvious uninterest in the girl. But she just looked so much like Mako..... They soon pulled up into the driveway, Sean already going into the house.
"What do you wanna do now?" Kimmy asked seductively, looking at Min Woo. He looked at her for a minute, licking his lips before leaning in to kiss her. It started out simple enough but clearly Kimmy wanted more as she started to unbutton his shirt and Min Woo didn't stop her.....

"Hey Sean oppa where's Min Woo at? Outside?" Mako asked a small grin on her face. Sean nodded.
"Yeah but you don't--" Mako was already downstairs and outside the door before she could even hear Sean finish. Sean walked downstairs knowing something bad was gonna happen.
"Min Woo oppa where are you?" Mako asked looking around. She felt horrible and decided to apologize. She wasn't exactly denying the feelings she had for Hye Sung, but those feelings didn't matter because she was with Min Woo. She approached the red car in the driveway curiously, and what she saw made her visably naseous. She looked into the fogged windo to see MIn Woo and another girl...? She screamed and MIn Woo looked up quickly stopping what he was doing. Him and Kimmy quickly got themselves back together as Mako retreated back, running into Sean. They both went into the house with Min Woo following.
"Mako wait a minute!" Min Woo called out. Mako picked up a nearby glass vase and throwing it at him with all her might. It missed him by mere inches as it crashed against the door, jolting Shina and Dong Wan awake.
"You know, I came to apologize for today and this is how you repay me?!" Mako yelled throwing more stuff. "You don't know how bad.. how damn fuckin mad i felt so I thought I should apologize!" By this time she was swearing and throwing everything she could find at Min Woo. All the others came downstairs to see what all the commotion was about.
"What's wrong?" Eric asked. (Dumb question hehehe)
"Do you wanna know what's wrong?!" Mako yelled picking up a nearby glass, gripping it tightly. "I went to apologize to my boyfriend and I go outside and you know what I find? I find my BOYFRIEND fucking this chick in her car!" She threw the glass and this time she didn't miss-- it shattered against Min Woo's forehead and he slumped to the ground.
"You asshole I hate you!" Mako screamed crying. "The pain you feel right now is not even a faction of what I feel!" Mako sobbed running upstairs to her room and slamming the door. Shina got up and quickly walked up the stairs going into the room.
Chapter 23: The Nervous Date
(note: I dwell so much on Shina and Dong Wan and Mako and Min Woo that Jin's gonna get more spotlight just cuz he's so cute )
*The Next Day*
After the big encounter the previous night, everyone decided that Min Woo should leave so Sean took it upon himself to get the ticket for Min Woo along with the taxi to the airport. There were no goodbyes as Min Woo got in the taxi, taking one last look at Mako before leaving that morning. Breakfast was quiet, given some chatter between Shina and Dong Wan. Jin abruptly got up, taking his dishes to the sink.
"Hey hyung can I use your phone?" Jin asked looking at Sean.
"Who do you know in Phoenix?" Sean asked, a smirk on his face as he nodded.
"Oh I know who he's gonna call," Dong Wan replied, a big smile on his face. Jin simply blushed as he went to the phone. His fingers trembled as he slowly dialed the numbers. It rung once....
Twice......
Three times....
Four......
The more it rang, the more nervous he got.... then finally on he was greeted with a voice.
"Hello?"
"......um...um....c-can I sp-sp-speak to Li-li-lizzie?" Jin nervously stuttered making his english sound even worse.
"This is she. Who's this?" Lizzie asked.
"This is Jin," he replied more confidently.
"Oh hi! What's up oppa?" Lizzie asked speaking in Korean. Jin finally calmed down as he started speaking normally.
"Oh.. um... I'm just wondering if you'd like to go out today....?" Jin asked shyly.
"I'd love to! Where are you at?" Jin gave her the address and they continued to talk, soon getting off. Jin walked back to the kitchen a big smile on his face.
"I take it she said yes?" Dong Wan asked shoveling more food in his mouth. Jin simply nodded sitting back down at the table again.
"So what's her name?" Tae Hyung asked drinking some orange juice.
"Lizzie," Jin replied, that goofy smile still slapped on his face. Sean dropped his fork and Tae Hyung gave a small nod.
"Do you know her or somethin?" Andy asked, noticing the reactions.
"Lizzie is Sean hyung's ex-girlfriend." Tae Hyung said quietly. Jin's smile quickly dissappeared.
"Hyung I didn't know! If you don't want me to see her I won't." Sean shook his head getting up.
"Don't let me stop you, it was a long time ago," Sean replied putting his dishes in the sink.
"Hyung are you sure?"
"Yeah don't worry about it." Sean left the kitchen and went to his room.
"What happened between them?" Jin asked Tae Hyung. Tae Hyung looked up somberly debating whether or not to tell him.
"They were going out fine for about four months, but Lizzie was very posessive. Sean Hyung had a bunch of friends ya know? But she would give them all evil looks and talk shit to them when he wasn't there. But Sean loved her alot.. he wanted to marry her because he thought she was perfect but then the day before their six- month anniversary she broke it off saying she wanted to just be friends with him. But they haven't talked since." Jin frowned hearing that. He was now having doubts about going out with her.
"Don't worry about it it's all in the past. Just go out with her," Tae Hyung urged. "She might be the one." Jin smiled again.
"Thanks, I really needed that."
"Besides hyung," Tae Hyung said getting up, "you were always her favorite member of the group."
"Well I can see why," Jin said smugly, "I am the best looking out of the six of us." Flying food came his way as the other members obviously disagreed. Shina and Mako just laughed as the door rang.
"I'll get it," said Tae Hyung walking towards the door. He opened the door and Lizzie stood at the step, her hair blowing sightly in the breeze.
"Um.. hi Tae Hyung, didn't know you lived here," Lizzie said quietly looking up.
"Well I do, as does Sean," Tae Hyung replied simply. "Jin! Get over here!" Tae Hyung yelled. "Your date's here," he muttered. Jin quickly rushed out of the kitchen running to the door.
"Hi!" Lizzie exclaimed taking his hand. "You ready to go?"
"Yeah let's go," Jin replied smiling. They got into her car and she drove off to a nearby resturant. They soon got there and they went inside.
"So what's good to eat here?" Jin asked pulling the chair out for Lizzie (awwww, such a gentleman! ^^)
"Pasta! I hope that's kewl cuz I'm a big pasta person," Lizzie replied smiling. The ordered and just sat at their table chatting away about every topic on their minds. Then Jin looked up as his food arrived.
"Tae Hyung told me what happened between you and Sean...." Jin said his voice falling as he looked down at his lasagna. Lizzie looked up, an eyebrow raised in intrigue.
"Oh...." she said simply. "Well that was all in the past. I just wish we could have continued to be friends." Jin nodded and continued eating his food. He stoped again and looked at Lizzie, studying all of her features. He was struck by cupid and he was desperately falling in love.
"What? Is their something on my face? Is my hair messed up?" Lizzie quickly pulled out a mirror and looked at herself for something abnormal. Jin just laughed as he shook his head.
"Nothing's wrong," he said, "I think you're perfect." Lizzie put down the mirror, blushing profusely. "Thank you."
"Let's go to the park or something," Jin said standing up. Lizzie stood up paying for the food. They both then walked out of the resturant.
"I'm sorry I didn't pay for the meal," Jin said sheepishly getting into the car.
"Oh it's ok, there's always next time," Lizzie replied with a smile and she drove off to a nearby park.

"Hey look at this oppa deuls!" Shina said looking at an Internet site. Dong Wan, Eric, and Andy went to the computer and read the headline: "ShinHwa breaking up".
"It is rumored that ShinHwa is breaking up after taking an unexpected one month break during the recording of their fourth album. It's been confirmed that Lee Min Woo has called Lee Soo Man from a Phoenix airport, apparently quitting due to "group problems." Rumors has it that he is going to go solo on another record label, possibly DSP. Press confrences are going to be scheduled as soon as Lee Min Woo arrives in Seoul...." Shina stopped reading. "Damn word spreads fast..." Eric simply shook his head and Andy muttered something, walking towards the couch.

*knock knock*
"Come in," Mako's voice yelled from the other side of the door. Hye Sung opened the door slowly nervously walking in.
"Can I talk to you?" Hye Sung asked sitting in a nearby chair. They haven't talked since the theme park incident and he wanted to confess everything. Mako nodded and sat on the edge of Shina's bed.
"I just wanted to apologize.... I know I shouldn't have kissed you and if it wasn't for me, you and Min Woo would probably be together but there's something you gotta know.." Mako looked up, looking into his eyes confused at what he was trying to say.
"I fell in love with you from the moment I first saw you.... I wanted to ask you out but I figured you would have said no... and when I saw you walking with Min Woo I knew that I had to put my feelings for you away..." Hye Sung's voice trailed off as he looked away from Mako.
"Oppa... I wouldn't have said no..." Mako gave him a small smile as she stood up stretching. Hye Sung smiled and stood up as well.
"If I asked you out now what would you say?" his eyes sparked, proud of himself for finally telling Mako how he felt. She went up to him and hugged him.
"I'd say yes..."

Jin and Lizzie walked around the park for the past hour, oblivious to everything. Jin was sad though because he really liked Lizzie but he had to leave in three weeks.
"You know I really like you, right Lizzie yah?" Jin asked holding her hand. Lizzie stopped and turned to look at him.
"I like you too Jin," she said looking down, "I just wish you weren't leaving soon..." Jin took Lizzie's other hand and pulled her into his embrace.
"Let's just make the most of what we got ok?" Lizzie smiled, kissing his cheek.
"Hey let's go home so you can meet the other guyz, Shina and Mako too." Jin suggested. Lizzie nodded and they walked back to the car and sped off. Ten minutes later Lizzie pulled into the driveway. Jin knocked on the door and Sean opened it laughing until he saw Jin and Lizzie holding hands.
"Hey Jin... Lizzie," Sean said opening the door. "Come in." Jin nodded and Lizzie gave a small smile.
"Oh hey hyung," Andy said walking over to greet him. "This must be Lizzie." Lizzie smiled and shook her hand.
"Hey Lizzie I'm Mako and this is Shina," Mako said introducing herself. "Come over here by us and help us laugh at Eric and Dong Wan oppa deuls!" Lizzie laughed and joined them on the couch where they were watching the two playing DDR. Dong Wan was winning but not buy much and bets over who would win. Finally time ran out and Dong Wan won.
"Ha!" Mako exclaimed in Shina's face, "you owe me fifty bucks." Dong Wan just stared at Shina as she handed over the money.
"You bet against me?" Dong Wan asked in diebelief.
"Well I always thought Eric was the better dancer," Shina said simply. Everyone laughed and Dong Wan pouted. They all laughed and joked around and even Mako and Lizzie played DDR. Suddenly Shina felt a great pain and she screamed loudly, everyone turning around to see what happened.
"Unni what's wrong?" Mako asked Shina. Sweat ran down her face as she struggled to speak.
"I think my water just broke...."
Chapter 24: The Hidden Truth
Everyone tried to remain calm as they all decided who should go in who's car and everything else. But that didn't last long as Andy soon started panicking.
Sean being the oldest took advantage of the situation... afterall taking Shina to the hospital became as normal as breathing for him. Sean helped Shina get to his car, Dong Wan and Mako also going with him. Tae Hyung drove his car, Eric and Andy going with him and finally Lizzie and Jin went behind, Hye Sung joining them.
Soon all eleven people stampeded through the hospital as Tae Hyung calmly explained to the nurse what was going on. A gurney (is that how ya spell it? ^^;;) soon came and everyone put Shina on it. Shina was wheeled off to the nearest room, everyone soon following. The blinds were wrapped around the room as labor started, everyone patiently waiting in the nearby waiting room.
Shina's screams echoed throughout the hospital as she was given orders to push. (note: well, most pregnancies take at least 12-36 hours not counting hard labor but for time purposes I'm just gonna speed it up ^^)
Soon the screams of another person were heard as the baby was finally born. The nurse took the baby boy and quickly wrapped him in a blanket, rushing off quickly to clean him up. Another nurse went to the waiting room as the doctor removed his gloves and disposed of them, looking for a birth certificate.
"Who's all here to see Shina Kim?" the nurse asked looking around the waiting room. Ten people all jumped up. The nurse simply nodded and led them to Shina's room. The other nurse had returned with the baby boy and placed him delicately in Shina's arms.
"Awww! I'm finally an auntie!" Mako cooed as she looked at the small baby, watching it struggling to breathe on it's own.
"Ok," the doctor spoke as he filled out the certificate. "Time of birth was 1.17 pm... the mother is Shina Kim.." he looked up at everyone. "Who's the father?" he asked.
"He's dead," Mako blurted quickly. She clamped her hand over her mouth as she realized what she said. Shina looked up, unaware of everything.
"Doctor, can you excuse us for a moment please?" She asked. The doctor nodded and he left looking for the nurse.
"Now does anyone wanna tell me what's going on?"
Chapter 25: The Revealed Truth
"You guyz, why don't you leave and I'll tell Shina unni ok?" Mako asked. Everyone nodded and left quickly.
"Mako, tell me, what's goin on?" Mako took a deep breath and began telling her about her encounter with Hee Jun and Tony, pulling out the note and giving it to Shina. Shina trembled as she read the words on the crumpled page.
"He...he loved me?" Shina asked, her voice quivering. Mako nodded and continued.
"When we got to the airport later that night, it was broadcasted on the news that he killed himself. He shot himself in the head and left a suicicde note." Tears now ran down Shina's face as she now knew what Jae Won really thought of her. Mako then told her what the suicide note had said and she cried harder. Mako gave Shina and the baby a hug also crying.
"Thank you for telling me," Shina said quietly. "Can you get the doctor and Dong Wan for me please?" Mako nodded and went out of the room. A few minutes later Dong Wan came in followed soon after the Doctor.
"So are you ready to help me fill out the rest of the certificate?" the Doctor asked pulling out his pen. Shina gave a small smile nodding.
"The father's name is Jae Won Lee....." The doctor quickly scribbled the name down and looked back up at her again.
"And what do you want to name him Ms. Kim?" Dong Wan held her hand and she smiled before answering.
"Jae Min.... Jae Min Lee...." The doctor smiled and wrote down the name as well as other measurements.
"Well congradulations Ms. Kim," the doctor said putting his pen back in his pocket. "You are now the proud mother of Jae Min Lee, five pounds fourteen ounces." The doctor smiled before leaving again.
"Congradulations Shina yah," DOng Wan said kissing Shina's forehead. Shina smiled and looked at Jae Min.
"Jae Min ah... you're so beautiful," Shina cooed kissing his small hand. Dong Wan sighed.
"Oppa what's wrong?" she asked turning her attention to him.
"I love you," he said quietly.
"I love you too oppa." She frowned slightly. "I wish Jae Min was yours Dong Wan ah..." He smiled and took her hand again.
"Trust me, I'll take care of him like he was my own." Dong Wan said, a small smile on his face. Shina smiled and squeezed his hand softly. Dong Wan kissed her forhead again and then whispered in her ear.
"Shina yah... will you marry me?"
