Chapter 11: The New Couple
*a week later*
"Unni I'm home!" Mako yelled as she dropped her uniform bag, tired from track practice. She tiptoed quietly up the stairs, walking into Shina's room. Shina was asleep, sprawled out over her Trig book. Shina never left her room the past week, except to visit Dong Wan and to go to her classes now that she was off suspension. [Choti] still tormented her but she ignord them.
"Awww poor unni," Mako said turning off the lamp and quietly going downstairs. As she reached the kitchen, the phone rang making her jump surprisingly.
"Yeo bo seh yo?" (Hello on the telephone)
"Ahn nyung dong seng!" (Hi!) a cheerful voice rang.
"Noo goo seh yo?" (Who's this?)
"Neh yo Dong Wan een dae yo!" (This is Dong Wan! I dunno if that's right, I remember Tiger JK saying that on one of his prank calls )
"Oh hi oppa!" Mako exclaimed quietly.
"Why so quiet?" he asked.
"Shina unni's asleep," she replied.
"Oh okie! I'm being released from the hospital and I want to surprise everyone. Can ya pick me up?"
"Ya sure oppa! I'll be there in 20 minutes! Ciao~" Mako hung up the phone excitedly and scribbled a note to Shina before leaving. She soon arrived at the hospital where Dong Wan was, standing by the entrance doors.
"Good you're here now let's go!" he said happily jumping up and down.
"Bakame~" (idiot in japanese ^^) Mako muttered jokingly as she got into the car.
"So where are we off to oppa?" Mako asked putting a CD in the player.
"Your place."
"Mo?" (Why?)
"Cuz I have somethin important to do," Dong Wan replied with a sparkle in his eye. Mako got the hit and smiled, continuing to drive to the apartment. They soon reached the apartment and quickly went inside.
"Can I get you anything oppa?" Mako asked walking to the kitchen.
"Ahnie," (No) he replied walking up the stairs.
"No funny buisness either oppa!" Mako said with a wink walking to the couch. Dong Wan only chuckled as he continued up the stairs. He got to Shina's door and opened it quietly walking inside. He saw Shina sleeping on her textbook, a small frown on her face.
"Han soon gan neh mo seup ma juh do Nuh ran guhl al go itt ni You know it.... You know it Nuh hana bboon ya You are the love of my life," (obvious song ain't it?) he sang softly as he unclasped his necklace and put it around her neck, leaving a trail of soft butterfly kisses. She stirred lightly before sitting up, looking directly at Dong Wan.
"Wannie oppa? What are you doing here?"' she asked groggily trying to fully wake up.
"I came to surprise you," he said softly playing with her hair.
"Oppa, where's your necklace? Did you lose it?" she asked looking at his bare throat.
"Look down," he repled smiling. She looked down to see the golden crucific shining brightly on her neck.
"Why do I have this? I know how much you love it," she asked confused.
"I want you to havve it, but only on one condition," he said.
"What's that?"
"That you promise to be my girlfirend." Shina looked at him dumbfoundedly as the words sunk in.
"B-b-but what about your work, and your fans, I know you have alot," she stammered shakily.
"That doesn't matter to me right now," he said. "All that matters is that I love you and I want to be with you forever." Shina cried happily as she threw her arms around him, kissing him gently. A kiss filled with love and emotion.
Chapter 12: The Revenge Part II
*4 weeks lata*
Shina and Dong Wan have happily been going out for almost a month. Their one month anniversary were coming up and both were very estatic, but Chung Ma was seething with envy.
'What do you see in her?' Chung Ma thought angrily, 'can't you see that I love you?!' She punched her locker releasing some of her pent up frustration. Then Tony nd Hee Jun walked up to her as she tried to regain her composure.
"What's wrong dong seng?" Hee jun asked casually as he munched on an apple.
"That's what's wrong!" she exclaimed pointing to Dong Wan and Shina who were at his locker laughing.
"She's wearing his necklace!" she screamed punching her locker again. "That should be me! Not her!" She slumped down to the floor crying. Tony was fuming. He was still pissed at Shina for shattering his jaw. He had to have his mouth wired shut for two more months. Seeing what Chung Ma was going thru made him even madder. Jae Won then strolled over to them to see what was going on.
"What's wrong hyung deul?" he asked. Tony pointed to Shina and Dong Wan who were now kissing at his locker. Jae Won internally flinched at the site.
"I wish she would leave this country," Chung Ma mumbled.
"That can be arranged," Jae Won said, an evil gleam in his eyes. He started whispering to the other three, conspiring something evil.
*after school*
Dong Wan was walking Shina to her car, talking about their plans.
"So I'll pick you up at 7?" Dong Wan asked opening the door.
"Yeah," she replied kissing him softly before stepping into the door. "Cya." she then sped off to her apartment. Soon after, a black pathfinder was taking the same path.....
Dong Wan walked through the parking lot towards his car when he caught a glimpse of Chung Ma by his Honda Accord.
"Shit," he mumbled as he walked towards the car. "Chung Ma what do you want?" he asked irritatedly.
"Oppa I gotta ask ya a big favor!" she said pleadingly.
"What is it?"
"I need you to help me with my Trig homework! Please?!"
"Ask Tony or one of those clowns to do it."
"You know Tony's mouth is wired shut! Besides none of them take Trig except for Woo Hyuk and he's at work now!. Besides you're number one in our class! Please oppa?!" Dong Wan sighed defeatedly.
"Fine, but only 3 hours. I got stuff to do."
"Thanks oppa! You're the best!" she exclaimed jumping in his car. He only sighed as he got in the car.

Shina arrived at home after running some errands.
"Man it feels good to be home! She yelled putting the groceries on the table. She started putting up the groceries excited about her date it with Dong Wan. Mako would be home in an hour to help her get ready.

"Okay, so you subtract 4q2xy from both sides and then divide this side by... are you paying attention?!"
"Huh? I'm sorry oppa, can you start over?" Chung Ma asked embarrassingly looking at the clock above her desk. 'It's time' she thought smiling. Dong Wan ignored her looks and startd the explination again.

The Pathfinder parked in the parking lot behind the apartment. Hee Jun and Jae Won stepped out, black shades conceiling their expressions.
"Jae Won are you sure about this?" Hee Jun asked uncertainly.
"Hyung, you've come this far don't you back out on me," he replied. 'I have to do this...to forget' he thuoght sadly as he knocked on the door.
"Hmmm....I wonder who that could be," Shina wondered outloud walking to the door. She opened the door to look into the faces of Hee Jun and Jae Won. She tried to close the door quickly, but Jae Won's strength proved to be too much as he pushed his way through the door.
"Wh-what are you two doing here?" she asked, her fear very apparent.
"We shouldn't do this Wonnie, this is a little overboard," Hee Jun said pleadingly.
"Hee Jun, go to the car," Jae Won said through gritted teeth.
'God why am I allowing such a horrible thing to happen?!' Hee Jun thought as he slumped his shoulders and left.
"What are you doing here?" Shina repeated trembling.
"I'm here to give you a special gift. And I know how much you want it," Jae Won answered, a sparkle in his eyes. He reached up to her touching her face softly. She slapped him and started running up the staris. But Jae Won with his long legs caught up to her and dragged her to her room.
"Now don't tell me you won't like this gift," Jae WOn said seethingly as he ripped away the layers of Shina's clothing. Shina couldn't move as Jae Won's weight was all on top of her, so she just cried, begging and pleading for him to stop. He then captured her lips roughly forcing his tongue in her mough. Shina didn't know what else to do so she bit down hard.
"You bitch!" he yelled slapping her. "Now you're really gonna get it," he said unbuckling his pants. The tears flowed freely again as Jae Won slowly slid himself into her velvety folds, making her cry out in pain and anguish, shredding away her innocence. As he reached his climax, he slumped over Shina's trembling body, kissinig her softly.
"You know," he said while buckling his pants, "you're not a bad fuck." He laughed softly leaving her room and then quickly getting out of the house. Shina curled herself up into a ball, and cried herself to sleep.
Chapter 13: The Wall Crumbles

Shina sullenly got up and went to the shower. She cried the whole time as she tried to get rid of the mixed stench and sweat of her and Jae Won. She had to get out and she had to get out of the country fast. She quickly dried off and changed. She put the blood soaked sheets and her ripped clothes in the trashcan. She then wrote two notes; one for Mako, one for Dong Wan.
'This is for the best,' she thought while packing. She then took of Dong Wan's necklace, and placed it on his note. She swallowed back her tears as she took one last look at her room, and took the pictures of her and Dong Wan, leaving the apartment.

Dong Wan looked intently at Chung Ma, hoping she'd understand this so he could go. He didn't want to be late for his date. He then looked at his watch and abruptly got up.
"Chung Ma, I gotta go. Hopefully you understand this," he said heading towards the door.
"Wait!" Chung Ma called out. He stopped and turned around.
"What?"
"What do you see in her oppa?"
"Huh?!"
"You heard me oppa." Chung Ma trembled as she spoke, finally telling him what she wanted to the past 2 months. "I've loved you for two years oppa! TWO YEARS! And Shina's been here two months and you're latched to her like some puppy! If you would've gave me the chance, I could've made you happy too!" She slumped down on the floor sobbing. Dong Wan reached out to touch her, but Chung Ma shoved him away.
"Go away Dong Wan," she said. "Be with her. Make her happy." He bowed his head walking out the door.
"Mi an hae Chung Ma," he said walking out the door.
"You know, she won't always be here for you oppa," she laughed bitterly. He turned around sharply to have the door slammed in his face. Chung Ma's words struck a nerve in him and he sped off, determined to make this the best night of his life.

Mako got home later than expected cuz Min Woo dragged her from practice to get something to eat. She went in looking for Shina to help her get ready, but she was nowhere to be found.
"Unni~~~~?" Mako called as she walked upstairs. She went to Shina's room and found some of her stuff was gone. She looked on the nightstand and found two notes. One was addressed to her so she quickly opened it reading it aloud.
"'Mako, I'm sorry I couldn't tell you this in person but I couldn't face you. I have to get out of here and I won't be back. I know this is unexpected but just trust me on this one. Please give Dong Wan oppa his note and tell him I'm sorry. By the time he reads his note I'll be at the gone so please don't try and look for me. If anyone asks about me just tell them something important came up. I'm sorry again, and I love you both. Pyung Hwa wa Sa Rang (Peace & Love), Shina.'" Mako dropped the note and sat on Shina's bed crying. Her best friend had just left her with only a note! She quickly wiped her face and called Dong Wan.
"Yeo bo seh yo?"
"Oppa, it's Mako."
"Ahn nyung! What's up?"
"You need to get here quick..."
"What's wrong? Is Shina ok?"
"I'd rather not say here. Please just get here... it's important..."
"Eung (ok), I'm on my way."
Dong Wan hung up, and quickly finished getting dressed. He then quickly left the apartment ignoring the questions of the other members as he jumped into his car. As he sped down the road Chung Ma's words suddenly rang into his head.
"She won't always be there for you...." Those words echoed in his mind until he got to the apartment. He quicly got out and rushed to the door. Mako opened the door and quickly let him in. She sat down, her eyes swolen from tears.
"So where's Shina?" Dong Wan asked gravely. Mako pointed to the note on the table that had his necklace on it. He read the note quickly wondering what this was all about. A tear slid down his cheek as he put the note down.
"Do you know why she left?"
"She didn't tell me anything. Just not to look for her. But I know where she could be."
"Where?!"
"At the airport..."
"Well let's go!" Dong Wan grabbed Mako and they went to his Accord and sped off. Luckily, the airport wasn't that far away. They reached it when within ten minutes and set off to find Shina. Dong Wan still found Shina by the gate, getting her passport checked.
"Shina!" he yelled. She slowly turned around and pulled down her shades. Her eyes that once held a bright sparkle, were now dull and lifeless.
"What are you doing here? I told you not to look for me." Her voice was angry, yet quiet. Dong Wan grabbed Shina and kissed her desperately. She was the one thing that meant so much to him and he wasn't prepared to lose her.
"Forget about me," she whispered pulling away.
"Flight 408, Seoul to Los Angeles, now boarding," the intercom blared. She got her bag and walked towards the gate, putting her shades back on. Dong Wan grabbed her arm again and turned her to face him.
"Tell me this month with me meant nothing!" he yelled. "Look me in the eyes and tell me you don't love me and I'll leave you alone." His eyes looked into her pleadingly, begging her to prove him wrong. Shina pulled down her shades, and looked into his watering brown eyes.
"Mi an... I don't love you Dong Wan..." she lifted her shades again and boarded the plane.
'I'm so sorry oppa,' she thought as a tear fell past the frames, 'this is for the best... I don't deserve you...'
Dong Wan watched her board the plane heartbrokenly. He then turned around and went to his car, where Mako was standing. His face said it all--- his heart was shattered. He then got into the car and sped off silently.
Chapter 14: The Phone Call
Dong Wan was a wreck ever since Shina left. The other members tried to console him as best as they knew how
but nothing worked. Dong Wan locked himself in his and MinWoo's room and tried to forget the words that echoed in his head.
Min Woo was on the phone with Mako to see if she could tell him anything. But so far, it wasn't a success.
"So she didn't tell you anything either?" he asked chewing on a pen.
"Ahnie yo... This isn't like her to just up and leave you know? Somethin had to have happened for her to
leave." Mako was really worried and wanted to know what was going on.
"Thanx anywayz.... hey why don't you come over here so you can help us try and cheer him up?"
"Ok, I'll be over there soon." Mako then hung up. She looked around the apartment that was now bare and empty without the presence of Shina. "Unni I miss you so much," she whispered to herself before leaving.

"Ok, who wants to be the lucky person who gets to drag Dong Wan hyung outta the room?" Andy asked looking at the others. He was responded with silence.
"I'll do it," Eric said standing up. "I'm the oldest after all." Everyone rolled their eyes, as he walked to the room. Then the doorbell rang.
"I got it!" Jin yelled running for the door. But Min Woo jumped up too and they both crashed into each
other ^^;; Andy got up and walked over them opening the door.
"Hey Mako noona," Andy said cheerfully.
"Hey Andy, how's everyone?" she asked walking inside. She then saw Jin and Min Woo trying to get off the
floor.
"What happened?" she asked confusedly.
"Well let's just say they were really excited to see you," Andy replied with a chuckle.

"Come on Dong Wan, get up," Eric urged nudging the motionless figure on the bed.
"Hyung, leave me alone," Dong Wan answered turning over.
"Look here, you can't just sit here and mope the whole time. You need to get out! At least this once and
have a drink with us. Besides, Mako's here and you can't be a rude host."
"Watch me," Dong Wan mumbled pulling the pillow over his face. Eric then grabbed the covers off of
Dong Wan and threw him over his shoulder walking up front.
"Look who decided to join us!" Eric yelled with Dong Wan still on his shoulder.
"Hyung put me down!" Dong Wan yelled. Eric complied and dropped Dong Wan on the couch where Hye Sung
was sleeping comfortably.
"AHHHHHH! Hyung get off me!" Hye Sung yelled blushing. Everyone laughed as Dong Wan quickly got off of Hye
Sung, still in his boxers ^^;;
"Cute boxers oppa!" Mako squealed pointing at the white sheep on the black print. Dong Wan ran back
to his room slamming the door.
"I'll go talk to him," Mako said going towards his door. But she was pulled back by Min Woo's arms
around her waist.
"What about me?" he asked pouting.
"You'll live," she said jokingly, kissing him on the cheek. She then went to their room and quietly
knocked on the door.
"Oppa, it's me."
"Come in."
Mako came in quietly, closing the door behind her. Dong Wan looked at her, turning away agian to face the
window.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Mako asked sitting on the bed beside him.
"I miss her....." Dong Wan said quietly.
"I do to oppa," Mako said giving him a hug. He hugged her tightly crying silently on her shoulders.
"Why did she leave me? I thought she loved me?" Mako soothed him while forcing back tears of her
own. Then her handphone rang. Dong Wan let go of Mako looking down sheepishly.
"Mi an," he said.
"Don't worry about it," she said answering her phone. "Yeo bo seh yo?"
"......."
"Hello?!"
"......"
"Whoever this is better answer!"
"...Mako.....it's me....."
Chapter 14: The Confession
"Are you alone?"
"Ahnie yo..."
"Well get alone so we can talk..." Mako excused herself out of the room and went outside.
"Shina where are you?!"
"Don't worry, I'm staying with Tae Hyung and Sean oppa deuls."
"In L.A.?"
"No. They're in Phoenix now..."
"Why'd you leave?"
"I'm pregnant Mako..."
"NANI?!?! (What?!) Who?! Why?! Unni I want some answers!" Shina then broke down over the phone.
"Mako I was raped by Jae Won...."
Silence.....
"That bastard! I'm going to kill him!"
"Mako, please don't tell Dong Wan," Shina pleaded still sniffling over the phone.
"What?! You dunno how he's been since he left and then you call and tell me this and expect me not to tell him! That's selfish!"
"Mako, please! If not for me, for the baby!" Mako softened.
"So I'm gonna be an auntie?" Shina laughed for the first time in awhile.
"Yeah dong seng, you're gonna be an auntie!" They continued talking until Min Woo came outside.
"Hey why'd ya leave us?" Min Woo asked pouting. Mako smiled at him and went back to talking.
"Hey I gotta go, but call me soon ok?"
"I promise! Ahn nyung hee! (So long)" Mako hung up the phone and looked up at Min Woo smiling faintly.
"Who was that?" he asked. Mako held her head down and started to cry.
"I need to talk to Wannie oppa..."

"Jae Won why are you doing this to yourself?!" Hee Jun shouted at him. Ever since Shina left, he's been unintersted in doing things with [Choti] and just spent his time drinking.
All the guys wanted to know what was going on so they all spent the weekend at his house. Jae Won was in a drunken stupor when he looked up at Hee Jun, his eyes bloodshot and swollen.
"Do you really want to know why I'm doin this?! Because ever since I raped that bitch, I thought I'd
be able to forget about her! But you know what? She still haunts me! She's the only thing on my mind! And you know why? Cuz I was dumb enough to fall in love
with that stupid bitch!" He yelled and swore breaking everything in sight.
Everyone stood there motionless. Hee Jun reached out to Jae Won only to get punched in the face, blood rushing out of his nose.
"So that's why you did it huh?" Hee Jun said wiping his face. "You're a sick heartless bastard."
"You know what Hee Jun?" Jae Won asked with a sneer, "you couldn't be more right. Especially since
she's carrying my kid now." Tony dropped his shot glass and Hee Jun stood there, his jaw hitting the floor.
"You disgust me," Hee Jun spit out bitterly before leaving the house.

Mako sat on the couch retelling everything to the guys, except for the fact that Shina was raped and carrying Jae Won's baby.
"So why is she there?" Andy asked concerned.
"Um.... family problems," Mako replied. Andy nodded, but Min Woo and Dong Wan didn't seem to accept that
answer.
"So is she gonna come back?" Hye Sung asked.
"Molla..."
"Mako come with me to get somethin to drink," Min Woo said walking towards the kitchen. Mako the hint and walked with him.
"Now what was really said?" he asked getting some water from the fridge.
"I-I-I told you," Mako stammered.
"I don't believe you," he said simply. "Now you can trust me, please tell me." Mako shook her head.
"I-I-I can't... I promised I wouldn't. But it's so bad!" Mako started crying, hugging Min Woo tightly.
Min Woo stroked her hair softly and hugged her back, trying to comfort her.
"I won't force you to tell me ok?" Mako then looked up, her tears still falling.
"If I tell you, you gotta promise not to tell Dong Wan oppa." She looked at him pleadingly, also debating mentally whether or not she should tell him.
"You can trust me, I sware it," he replied. She then told Min Woo everything that had been said between
her and Shina. Min Woo suddenly wished that she hadn't told him, but he couldn't tell her that. They then went back out into the living room and started singing
and dancing, trying to lighten the mood. Dong Wan smiled as he laughed at Andy and Eric arguing in English, but on the inside he was as miserable as could be.
'Shina yah, I'm gonna find you if it's the last thing I do....'
