Halo on PS2

Press Release:

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 1, 2003- Bungie (Nasdaq: BNGI ENTERTAIN.) announced that its hit title, HALO® will be coming to the Playstation® 2 Computer Entertainment system in early November. Bungie's developer, Mark Sanders, says that Bungie® and Microsoft® took a step in the right direction by selling off the title. SCEA® paid $25 million for the rights to develop the game.

Microsoft®'s head of operations, Tony Smith, states that the XBOX® division of Microsoft® sold the rights in order to increase interest in the sequel, HALO® 2. This in turn is hoped to lead to more XBOX® console sales, and Microsoft® is pleased with the deal.

Despite Microsoft®'s clear intentions, SCEA® stated they purchased the game on a financial basis. SCEA® has predicted sales reaching $30 million.
