The Final Fantasy movie has released and is full of beautiful graphics. The voice acting is great, and the story is good too. There is just a small thing missing, emotions. I mean sometimes you get the feelings and other times they don’t have feelings, I will get to that later and in more depth.

First, the story, a really good story about a not so distant future, 2065, when we are constantly fighting a battle with “Phantoms”, and losing. We have been forced to hide inside “barriers” and are trying useless attacks against them. Yet, one Dr. Cid has been doing research on “Spirits” and feels if they collect all eight then they will be able to destroy the Phantoms. With plenty of plot twists, they aren’t too twisty though, and many a character to see, the story packs a big punch.

The graphics and emotions are pretty much the same thing so I will discuss the here. the graphics are beatiful and there are times when you think it is real. But then there are those other times. Once when Aki, the main character, was very sad and I thought that she was happy for a minute because the facial expressions weren’t there, which ruined that monment. There were really great graphics though and helped move the story along with things that could’t possibly be done in reality.

Overall, this movie is worth seeing, especially if you are a fan of the series. The only people who should not see this are the people who can’t welcome in the new age and hate CG movies.
